From bold, modern florals to soft, romantic chiffon and light, airy linen, spring is a time of year I really embrace my feminine side. Hi Trinny! I love you and have been loving you for ages. Can I make a request? Could you please do a session on conservative dressing without looking tired and dull and boring? I don't think Trinny is the lady to do 'conservative dressing'!!! She's brilliant doing what she does because of her choices and combinations...Because they reflect her personality...And incredible figure!!!😊
@@judithbass7565 There's no reason why Trinny can't do conservative dressing that is fashionable. She's versatile in her dress ideas and creativity. Conservative dressing doesn't mean boring, it's just another type of dressing which can be very stylish.
She has already done different styles that are not necessarily her own style. So why not conservative?
I think she is already good at that, I love that she has shown us how stylish a high neck is...when you say conservative, do you mean modest ?
@punkyoliverio When you say "conservative dressing" - can you describe in more detail what that might entail. For example - is a scoop neckline okay, or should it sit higher? I'm guessing that 3/4, 7/8 and full length sleeves are the best lengths. Would you wear a short sleeved blouse or dress? Would you wear a dress or skirt with length just below the knee, or mid-calf? Or is a longer length more comfortable? What about shape? Would you wear a garment with a defined waistline or use a belt to create that shape? 👍

Such lovely dresses. I used to wear dresses almost all the time. And I stopped because I got older and my legs aren't the same. Im now 70 and I really liked your beginning comments about embracing who we are. The years go by and we're not what we used to be but we're not what we're going to be either. We should make ourselves happy and wear what makes us feel good. Love you Trinny.

My 🥰mother always wore dresses & heels 24/7. She had house & errand dresses. Also ones suitable for company, church, & date nights with my dad❤. Much later, she sprinkled in some skirt & short suits. Took my cue from her. Primarily wore dresses & skirt suits for the majority of my life.
🥺When she unexpectedly passed away, I opted to be downsized from a long term corporate gig. Decided to work in private service as a professional nanny & later as a caregiver for my father. My dresses & office gear started to feel too formal, fussy, & frumpy😖 in these capacities. They simply did not fit my mood, interests, or more casual lifestyle.
Always preferred skirts over pants, but thanks to Trinny I'm experimenting with never been worn fashion I inherited from her as well as all the quality pieces I kept in reserve all this time👏🏻.
🤔Finding the vintage dresses seem to work best when I treat them as a top, skirt, or gilet. With the suit sets, I've been breaking them up & adding a bit of edge, glam, or sport to reinvent these pieces. Thankful, it feels fresh, fun, & fabulous to wear these wonderful things again.

I didnt wear dresses for years. In the past 4 years I've really fallen in love with the ease of wearing a dress and i own many. Midi or maxi length with small prints are my 'go to ' style

Love all the dresses but the white dress with red on, is definately my favourite...I also love dresses, can't wait for summer to show off what we're blessed with in terms of body shape. I would love to see you do skirts and how not to feel frumpy! I’m always in trousers. Also I find skirts can cut you at the tummy and give you a mumtum even when you dont have one!

Print clash has become one of my favorite styles, so yes yes!!!! The last couple of summers I have worn more dresses. They are more comfortable in the heat!

Love the dresses! I mainly wear dresses for work as they are so easy!! The long dresses have become my uniform!! M&S have been brilliant for them over the last 2-3 years!!
Zara do great ones in viscose, especially in the summertime - they're surprisingly still breathable yet they have shape AND pockets!
Edit: I like their printed ones in particular - I wear their Marilyn shirt dress to work.

I used to wear dresses only when I was a teenager and in my 20s, and then I started wearing trousers and never went back. Now I find it incredibly hard to wear a dress and feel comfortable. But this CC was SOOOO inspirational. Definitely going to be trying a bit harder to find and wear dresses. So beautiful, so feminine.
Because I'm So petite, dresses are all top big for be. Too much material I look ridiculous. I've one from H&M that's been sitting in my wardrobe for 2 years and now it seems too big god knows why I bought it.

Hello, thank you very much. I love dresses but because of the pandemic, I lost the chant of wearing them. Las week I had an event at my job, I wore a beautiful floral green dress but didn’t feel comfortable, I guess I have to embrace them again and recover that confidence.

Since retiring in 2019, I qualified as an exercise instructor and love it. As a result, I’m forever in leggings and T-shirts or hoodies. This is a complete change from my corporate dress style just four years ago! I loved this video as it’s made me think about getting back into dresses. So just wanted to thank you for the inspiration and idea here, as I’ll now be able to use this tomorrow when I shop! ❤
I love wearing a dress over a t-shirt & leggings when I go exercise - easy to whip it off at the start then throw it on again at the end (either over or instead of my gym clothes). I'd recommend trying it with looser dresses first!

😉Trinny doesn't do short skirts or dresses. As far as I know, she doesn't own any in her vast collection. She doesn't believe shorter hemlines flatter her silhouette.🤔You'll have to find another fashion influencer or stylist on that score.

🤫Used to wear flirty, flouncy fit & flare short dresses (over bike shorts) for 🎶 Country Western dancing in the 90s. 🤠Yeehaw!
Nowadays, the most Prairie Chic🌾 I can tolerate is three swishy tea length tiered circle skirts. Otherwise, I feel foolish😖 in sundresses or Spring dresses of any length 〰️esp. with flowers, lace, ruffles, or extravagant statement sleeves. Slightly envious of women like Trinny who can rock all these highly feminine details.
🤭Can wear a jumper style or T-shirt dress above the knee. Maybe even a short pencil (or a-line) skirt as a casual "shorts alternative" with sneakers or loafers.
😬Nowadays, I don't plan to expose my mismatched knees on more formal occasions. Even when the swelling finally dissipates, I'm afraid my compound tibia fracture from last July has left the🦵joint forever changed🤣. Not ashamed of it or the scars, but I hardly want to make it a feature.

I love those dresses; they're beautiful! I love wearing dresses in summer and spring, but I find them impractical to wear in my daily life; somehow I always seem to catch my dress on a door handle, bushes etc. Needless to say, they don't last for a long time in my wardrobe as they're ripped somewhere 😅

Me and my mum just love you and you have shaped the way we now dress but my mum is only 4ft 11 and in a size 2 shoe and a size 6... so you can imagine how hard it is for her, all the dresses are so long on her but shirts and tops you have had on your CC have been a great help to my mum hope you can help my mum dress properly when or if you do a feature on very petite ladies xxxxx

Could you maybe do a makeover of monochrome COS dresses? To get the fun out of them by combining or accessorizing in the right way? The warmer temperatures are coming and I own quite a range of these elegant and slimming, yet a bit „always the same“ Cos dresses. I bet a bit of your sophisticated British magic could make a difference.
