Although I initially bought it for evening events, I’ve decided that it deserves a place in my everyday wardrobe - so let’s see how many different ways I can style it. Shoes are very important with a long skirt like that; not every option will make it, so trying on is key. 🤗 Beautifully done exercise that would do all sorts of styles a solid service 👏🏻. Exciting to experiment w/a garment & our closet to see how we might ⬅️extend➡️ the life of any 💘beloved piece (ranging from everyday chic to elegant to feminine to flashy).
Many of our garments were an investment at some stage anyway, so why neglect them? 🤫Basically, choose anything that doesn't get out nearly enough (or typically only gets worn a single way🙄). 👩🔬Next, explore all the different possibilities to see the myriad of ways it could suit us, enhance our personality, mood, the occasion, or our lifestyle. 🎉Brava!
It allows us to fall back in love💞 w/our clothing in a fresh & fabulous way. ♻️Think it's smart to maximize our own collection. Play w/colors, style vibes, silhouettes, contrast, etc. 🛍 Running out to acquire something 💲new or vintage at the least provocation is NOT always the best answer for us, our wardrobe, or budget.

Dressing to suit our spirit is 💯% better than dressing down ⬇️ to please others or simply blend 😶🌫️ in the environment you find yourself in. You can clearly do it in a tasteful manner vs some freakish👽 or clownish🤡 way.
The white tee & sneakers was my favorite〰️esp. for a 🆒️ LA vibe 😎. Perfectly 🆗️ to be an original here. Fashion folks will give a discreet nod to it. That definitely appeals to my own style sensibility〰️ polished, feminine, casual w/a twist🍸. It gives me 🪄inspiration to continue on this same track. It doesn't matter that some may find it a bit formal for your circumstances. You need to rock 🎸 what makes you feel your best.
It was fun to see all the different shades of pink💗 w/it too. 😉Personally, preferred the pointed flats over the ballet flats w/this skirt.

A drop waisted pleated skirt suits every woman, if you are larger hipped, wear it lower and slim the hips, if you are slimmer, where it higher and show off your petite hips. Every woman should have a drop waist skirt!

Beautiful skirt. Could the camera person step back a bit more so we can catch the total look please? My memory says from a US department store like Bergdorf Goodman or Bloomingdale's. But that could be wrong ....
