I am also helping out our Other Neighbor out now, as he lost his Big Toe to infection. It's Kinda Funny that when I needed help, I did not get any. But even though I did not that's alright with me. Yes that Fiskers Axe is a Awesome piece of Equipment. I use mine all the Time. I Polish mine up so it Shines, and Stone the Edge before putting it in the Holder. Nice chopping Russ 👍👍. The magnesium cases on your nice chainsaws will not like being stored on a concrete floor. If you know someone with a mill you could get get them to cut you a wide board to put the saws on - hint hint, wink wink.
Might be a really small world but we know of a double vehicular homicide that just occurred up your way, one victims family grew up in RI. That’s an incredibly kind gesture of you to do that for them, but I wouldn’t expect any less from anyone I’ve ever dealt with from the great state of Maine.
Shows you have a good heart sorry took a loss of life to prove it but always knew it it's a bad time of year for that stuff to happen around holidays my wife lost her mom October first my granddaughter birthday hard on both of them cause granddaughters birthday will never be the same way again ya I'm older but grandma been gone this long nice when community comes together to help but can't be replaced I lost a lot of people in my life I tell them live off the memories they get by after a while but never forgotten but memories Dr help good are bad people come and thank me said made it easier for them
@WilleysFirewood you have that right the hours I just talked to people after a loss and how they felt knowing I have been through it and understand it is not easy but give comfort and like I tell people how you heal are make it easier is live off the memories over the years good are bad go through their life and it helps I had people even come offer me money cause when got done talking they felt much better but said thats what friends do help each other out glad you doing what you doing thanks again merry Christmas to you and Kevin and your family
Russ have you given any thoughts to a electric 5 ton splitter for the mini wood splits it could make short work of it and not take a chance of waking your self with a hatchet. You would be able to run it in the shop where it's warmer.

@@WilleysFirewood I really like Fiskars, I have the x28 and a razor sharp hatchet of theirs, would probably do that size tree just as fast, I prefer single hand swinging.I keep the hatchet by the stove for kindling, This morning around 3 AM I used my first Willeys Firestarter, Top Notch 100% approve. My fire hadn't gone out since I got those till today. we got 5" on the ground 1-3 tonight. Nice temps in the far future if we can get through Mondays cold.
One thing to split by hand but another chopping down a tree with an axe. Good workout you two, keep cuttin'!
