The museum in Ulverston is definitely worth a visit, as are three important locations in California: the graves of the two brilliant comedians and the Music Box steps! Culver City must be fascinating as well. Happy times to all Stan and Ollie fans! 🇨🇦
Stan et Ollie les rois du rires pour l éternités intemporels pour des siecles. Magnifique musé il y a tout absolument phénoménal et bien représentatif de la passions qu' ils ont pour nos IDOLES.
I think this was a very nice tribute to the Boys! It revealed very much as to detail re their earliest histories, including some of the more tending as near-tragic also, thus reminding us that they too were only human after all. (And "The Wives" which in real life seemed rather similar to the ones of their comedies. Heavens!!) Clearly, this effort was one heart-felt by it's makers, and should be I think, in the collections of all of L & H's loving fans. (But the fact of the presence of some blurry clips is however a bit difficult to understand.) "Billions x Billions of laughs sold!" = Laurel & Hardy 🥰
Now, the episodes are being put onto UA-cam for the world to see, the classics that Ted Turner had for a long time but had not put on Turner Classic since the early 2010's, maybe 2014 at the latest, when there used to be a section on each week for a classic short episode.
yes indeed, you tube is a long long way from when i was young watching their movies on UHF with the rabbit ear antennas turned just the right way. me and mom used to watch the oldies on WUNY ch 29 out of Buffalo back in the day 🎥🥰
This is a fantastic documentary and very well made - I do have one error though - Ulverston as birth place of Stan Laurel is in Cumbria and a part of the Lake District and not Lancashire. Not sure where that information came to you from. But an amazing film nonetheless :)
Ulverston was in Lancashire until the 1970’s. Cumbria as a county was formed with boundary changes between Lancashire and Cumberland. Also bits of Yorkshire and Northumberland.
For the love of Pete, who put this together? That background music is so loud and annoying and overshadows this whole documentary what garbage? Don’t bother with this.
Love Laurel and Hardy❤❤❤

This basically follows what I've read, but I have never heard of any of Ollie's wives starting out as 'mistresses.'
The music is way too loud. Shame, the documentary is really good.

I am very sorry....But useless without original soundtrack...
You Have To Add The Movie "Brats" To Your Channel. My Favorite 🙂
What's with the HIDEOUS MUSIC. Ghastly, distracting and unnecessary!!!!!!!
