Very useful would highly recommend using this channel for other viewers.
Thank you so much for the comment 👏👏👏
I'm currently revising poetry anthology as I have a test on Monday, and this video has been so incredibly helpfull ! , the only thing I'm still unsure of is how long the paragraphs are meant to be , as 6-8 sounds like allot. And what structures I should be using for my answers . Maybe I am making my paragraphs too big , I'm not sure
So long as they have a secure quote that you analyse you’ll be fine. I hope it all went well! Happy New Year!
Life saver
Thank you! 🙏
Thankyou 🙏
You’re welcome. Good luck, you’ve got this!
Can you do romeo and juliet?
Can you do a video on GCSE language paper 2?
Appreciate your videos!!
Thank you! As a matter of fact I have one for 2A - it’s called How to MASTER GCSE English Language Non-Fiction Reading (EDUQAS) - the link is below

Hi, have you got any predictions for this years poetry question ?
time, childhood, nature or love
Poems to consider - Valentine, The Manhunt, She Walks in Beauty. They’re all accessible and haven’t appeared before
@@GuigLithi are you predicting these are the poems that may come up in the exam or the poems we should revise to compare?
@@GuigLit You were right about the manhunt sir. Cheers
@ggggggg00785 you’re welcome!
After the tabl introduction how would you format paragraphs and how many should you do?
Always track and dig deeper into selected quotes
Hi, what révision techniques would you recommend using to revise the content and analysis of the poems?
Make 15 marker and 25 marker comparison questions for the poems and practice writing them with open anthology but then do it closed with just a blank copy of the first poem
Can you do a practice paper for the poetry anthology
Absolutely!
Out of the 2 styles in Q2 which one would you prefer from an examiners point of view or which one is just better in general
I personally prefer the tennis style method of making a point from the new poem then comparing back with the first one 👍
Can u do grade 7 upward examples of structured responses as im still unsure of how to do that
Absolutely! Thank you for the kind comments and suggestion!
Hello again! Thanks for advice in ACC, got an 8 in mock. What poems would you compare each to the poems to?
Hello do you mind if I ask for your mark and also read the essay?
@@LeviAckerman-ec8wr hello i think I got 30 but I don’t have access to the essay that I wrote
Hi. How do you choose which quotes to learn from each poem when you don’t know what the theme will be? For example, if the death of a naturalist theme is nature you would compare to a different poem with different quotes to if it was the passing of time. I don’t know how to choose the quotes.
I don’t know either
is the theme in Q1 will always be the same in Q2?
Yes it will 👍
My struggle with English literature is that I don’t know what structure to follow for each question, do I do an introduction, peezle, or things like that?
I completely understand - there are some walkthroughs on my channel that should help but if you need any further help I’ll put a video together
@@GuigLit Thankyou so much, I have been using your account as a guide and it’s helped me a lot however I can’t seem to find a full length model answer anywhere I and would love if you could make a video on one. Either way though I love your videos and appreciate the hard work your are putting in to helping students like me 😊😊
@Rafecameronskitty ahhh my pleasure! Thank you for those kind words, I really care about all my subscribers and really want to help. If you had a moment to make a list of what I could make for model answers, like topics, I’ll try my hardest to get them done 👍
how many quotes would you recommend learning for the second question?
Approximately 6-8 (3-4 per poem, you can re-use quotes from Q1)
With comparing the poem what is the best way to link the poem's themes
My personal recommendation is to compare across structural features - how their titles, first lines, key lines and last lines reflect or portray the theme itself
this is really going to help me in the mocks tomorrow@@GuigLit
@Random-mm2ly best of luck!!
can you give a model answer for the whole of question 1
hi, i was just wondering what poem goes well with living space because i dont know what to compare it to
London
@@ggggggg00785 thank you!!
@@Charlotte-xb5yk no problem, what grade you working at??
@@ggggggg00785 i got a grade 7 on my paper 1 mock and an 8 on paper 2 hopefully a 7/8
how many quotes should i have to learn for the second question?
3-4 is ideal!
Do I need a conclusion for question one?
Not necessarily. It’s all a matter of timing. Introduction is great but if you’re pressed for time always have an extra point over a conclusion
What's ur prediction this year?
The Manhunt or Valentine, possibly around love or war as they’ve been a while
@@GuigLit so what theme would u suggest would come up?
Could u say nature will come up?
@-...480 it could but last time it was London which has close associations to place and nature so it may be too similar
Sorry If im asking too many questions, but would it be good if I wrote 3 paragraphs for the 15 markers, and can I include the same points in the 25 markers and how many quotes would be recommended to remember
its so over
I hope it went ok for you
@@GuigLit it was actually decent got lucky with the questions
@radam1198 excellent!
