The bold outlines and cell shading of the comic book style rendering adds some wicked stylistic flair, but honestly the most satisfying and exciting appeal of this game for me is the translation and interpretation of these iconic suit designs into a form that fits within the graphics and photo-realistic style of the game.
So this means high quality rendering of fine details and textures that mirror real world materials. Having cartoony suits like this is fine as a novelty but it breaks the immersion for long-term gaming and is therefore not a suit I would use for the main campaign.
But I still think it's a cool look. But yeah would prefer a more realistic take.
