Front End Dis-Assembly & Inner Barrel Removal For Tokyo Marui M4 MWS Gas Blow Back Rifle

- This is the removal of the Upper Receiver, bolt and charge handle, then the front end assembly and eventually providing access to the inner barrel and hop unit. Use this as an instructional video for those wishing to know how to change the inner barrel and or hop rubber or for those wishing to know how to remove all the front end parts. If you have a loose or wobbly front end simply follow the dis-assembly then re-assembly this will always fix that issue unless parts are missing.

Having trouble taking off the barrel nut, the thing where you need to use the barrel wrench.
is the inner barrel the exact same cut as the Hi-Capa /VSR series? E.g. a VSR barrel could be fitted? Thank you. P.s love the shop :)
I'm having trouble removing the 1.5 grub screw, is it just an Allen key or are you using some different tool

Why is my outer barrel stuck and not budging?
Can potentially over tightening the barrel nut cause this?
Just loctite, assuming the nuts off, apply a little heat

I just got my hands on one after waiting for a restock since covid...I think I have a lemon tho. M4A1 so plastic handguard but the whole front end wobbles back and forth about 1 cm. I wondered if it was just a loose barrel nut but I dont know whether to return it or try to tighten it myself. Any advice for a novice?
This is basically your gun so you could follow it and fix the isssue. There is no wobble on the tm m4a1 socom gbbr. None at all on the front end. But there are loose screws typically over time.

@@TriggaPleas the gun shouldn’t have anything in wrong with it, you paid a lot of money. That said, if you want to fix it your self then follow the video, you will need to know how to remove the outer barrel anyway to do hop upgrades.

@@TriggaPleas any issue you have with the replica, I’m sure any shop you brought it from would be happy to rectify it. Personally if you are not comfortable doing the work, then use the shop. If the shop refuses then I guess that’s a different story. I doubt that would happen though. You got this grace window at the moment.
Nice video. Do you happen to know what on earth the outer barrel of the mws CQBR？ I thought it was 10.5 until I found the original part on 101. It says it is 10.3 and I got really confused..

what’s the point in the gas tube?
The gas tube is for aesthetics and not functional on the Airsoft . On a real AR it’s to route the gasses back through the gun to cycle the bolt.
Does anyone make a breakdown mat for this?
Don’t think so, good idea for a product though.
is it possible to mound m203 on standard mws barrel?
no idea, i guess it depends on the one you are trying to fit.
I have G&P m203. I see cutouts on barrel for m203, but I'm not sure about detail with screw, that holds a barrel, it will maybe obstruct to attach GL prnt.sc/h6xi3b
