  • This is how to rebuild the hammer unit, and then how to reinstall the hammer unit in the lower receiver and put the various lower receiver parts back on.

Fantastic video! My MWS was only firing a single shot on semi them wasnt resetting after playing a couple of semi only events. I broke the rifle open and noticed fragments of bb in the trigger mech. I followed your disassembly and reassembly videos cleaning the parts and it fully solved the issue (as the tolerances are tight maybe it was enough to stop a sear catching.. who knows?)
Honestly a great video and helped keep my MWS as my favourite rifle :)

Hi there! How does your hammer unit practically slides back into the lower receiver? So easy in the video...
In my case I had to use a rubber hammer and gently hit it until it got into position. :(

To relieve the most spring tension during long term storage, do I leave the fire selector on semi or full auto?

What do you think might cause an issue for the gun to not function well in semi auto, once the trigger has been pulled the bolt will have to re-charged for each round?

Same issue. Might be not enough gas put in the bolt during fire. I had issues in extremely cold and hot weather. Trying to replace hammer spring with UAC, described as for hot weather. Also there is Dynamic Precision inner parts set, described to solve single fire problem.
