I absolutely love Singapore, Cathay and Qatar crew! Qantas is very good too. Very friendly and attentive. The European and US legacy carriers are so inconsistent. In the case of British Airways, they’re sometimes just outright nasty, they didn’t used to be. But I definitely agree on the ones you listed, they are good.
Singapore Air has great cabin crews from my experience. I flew economy. While I was crammed in the middle seat one flight, they gave great service. I only had one minor issue: I received the wrong visa form. A minor inconvenience when I arrived at my destination, but a lot of worse things could have happened.
I have taken 6 out of those 10 airlines enumerated in the vlog. This I must say: I have been traveling since I was 10 and am now in my mid 60s. So I have lost count of the number of times I have flown. (In fact, I have been flying twice a week since September 2019 as part of my work here in Canada.) Three of those that Sam Chui chose are standouts in my list in terms of serving with a smile, going the extra mile, and efficiency in responding to passengers' request --- and these are, in no particular order, Japan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Philippine Airlines. They are among my favorite airlines because I feel that their attendants are there to bring their A game. The other three on my list, which I will not mention, are okay with their rather cold efficiency and they have much to learn from JAL, SA, and PAL in terms of soft skills. Am hoping to take Qatar Airlines one of these days. My wife cannot stop raving about her experience with Qatar when she flew to Italy last year. One that I will add is Turkish Airlines. Was my first time to use TA on my Istanbul - Antalya return flight and I was pleasantly surprised by the attendants' level of customer service. The food, served in real china in economy, was fantastic!

When it was EK, my reaction was so happy. Emirates was the first time I've ever flown without my parents and I was flying to work in another country alone and I was only 19, so I kind of cried at pushback because I was nervous not about the flight but because I was basically leaving my family in the UK. The crew were exceptional and were checking that I was okay all the time. Since then I've flown with Emirates each time I've gone to Asia because they deliver such a high class service even to those of us who sit in economy. I will most definitely use Emirates if I go to Asia again (side-note: I keep saying Asia because each time I've used EK, I've transit at DXB then onwards to China, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan). Plus they hold a few personal records for me - first airline I ever flew on a 777, first airline I ever flew on an A380, first airline I'd ever flown to Asia. Also, as I'm a polyglot, I try to use as many languages that I know with crew members' native languages, the most I've used was on an Emirates flight from Dubai to Shanghai where I used 11 languages in one flight.

My loving wife and I have been flying with Emirates for a very long time . We travelled from Melbourne Australia to Singapore every year for working and vacations. Emirates is our favourite Airline coz of the excellent cabin crews services and delicious inflight meals. We hope to fly with Emirates again soon.
Emirates cabin crews are always fantastic but in my case, Singapore Airlines always has a slight advantage. I’ll always remember when I traveled from NYC to Australia by myself for the first time when I was about 14 on SA’s 747. Such a long trip can be tough for a young person, but the crew was wonderful and really went out of their way to make sure my journey went smoothly.

Ive had a very bad experience with one of the rudest, impolite and moody flight attendants of Qatar airways. I was just asking for a fish meal which was on their menu's list but she just told me off 'WE DON'T HAVE FISH! YOU KEEP ASKING FOR FISH!' She was very unassertive and so downright RUDE! Just because there wasn't any available fish meal, off she went serving another flying customer and left me with nothing to eat-- not even giving me any alternative at all. I can understand her rudeness, impoliteness and for leaving me with nothing to eat for the whole duration of the long haul flight if I was a non-paying customer but, then, still her behaviour was totally disgusting and unacceptable!
Definitely Garuda Indonesia the service and hospitality is top level I have flewn all airlines in Business class but my opinion Garuda Indonesia still the best wish you succeess
I can definitely attest to the fact that SQ provides great service even in economy class. They rarely disappoint. However that cannot be said of Qantas. I’ve flown QF twice in economy from HKG to SYD and both times were big disappointment. Cabin crew were apathetic and didn’t seem to care. Plus the fact that food portion size was pathetic and seat pitch was tight made for a very disappointing experience, never again flying QF.
I haven’t fly as many airlines as you have Sam. Here are my very memorable flights with great flights attendants. Most memorable for me was Korean Airlines LAX to NRT. They seriously flirted with me with their eyes when I was a young man. Then, Japan Asia Airways, NRT to TPE. Cathay Pacific LAX to HKG. EVA Air LAX to TPE. I’ve flown China Airlines, Air China, and American Airlines a lot, but absolutely nothing we’re memorable.

There's a misnomer that cabin crew are not educated. I work with many who have advanced degrees. Being cabin crew is a lifestyle and I'd rather fly to CDG and be paid to lay over and enjoy the city of lights and great food over sitting hunched in a cubicle day in day out. I have a masters degree in music literature and history. I play classical piano and I'm a cabin crew for a major airline.

Many yrs ago when my son and i flew from Greece to New Zealand, when S,A was flying to and from Athens to ChCh via Sydney, we traveled business class, when the flight attendant came to ask if we would like anything, they would turn to my son and say Mr Papapateras [ perfectly pronounced ] what would you like to drink, of course the kid of 8 years said a coke please, finally had to put a stop at 3 cokes thats over a period of a couple of hours, and say water not coke, but it was the Mr Papapateras that made me cackle, he was swamped with gifts as well, so many things i lost track in the end, i think Niko thought he was onto something good being treated like a little prince, and being the only child in business at the time. I have heard of similar stories from other passengers about the Singapore Airlines crew. It's their attention to detail and thoughtfulness that gives them that competitive edge over other airlines.
In my opinion Philippine Airlines has the most welcoming and friendly crews and and they are a reason for me to choose a Philippine Airlines flight instead of the competition. When it comes to handle special situations as massive delays or unruly passengers Lufthansa crews are the most professional in my opinion.
Im Thai and I have flight with emirates last April 2019 flight to Amman Jordan, i can feel flight attendant air emirate service bad with asian girl passenger or maybe just with me ,,i m a backpacker always wear old cloth or hiking stuff that make me look dirty ,,,i ll give 3/10 for emirate,,9.5/10 for Qatar and 10/10 for Turkish ,,,i ve been travel 70 more around the world i feel most great service airline are from Asia(Pacific) Cathey and Garuda and Singapore the best also Thai 💜

Out of all of these airlines that you featured here, the only one that I've flown is Quantas, but I would highly recommend them. I flew with them all the way from NYC JFK Airport to Sydney, Australia in economy. The food was good. I got around 2-3 full meals plus a snack, sodas, coffee & tea, & a hot cloth a few hours before landing. We got an amenities kit, the in-flight entertainment was good, the seats were cushy, & the crew were upbeat, friendly, & attentive.
Just came back from my first trip with Ethiad. I travel a lot between Europe and Pacific Asia. I didn't like Ethiad it at all. Abu Dhabi Airport is part of the problem: overcrowded, poorly organised, unfriendly staff, awful bus ride to and from the plane, flight delays. I hope this was the last time with Ethiad.
I love EMIRATES. Aside from the great food choices, nice services of crew, when I flew using first time using this airline in 2010, I was amazed to see in their coach section the individualized screens for entertainment where one can only find this in Business class section of other airlines that time. I've also flown Singapore Airlines, Business class at that on several occasions (others like TG-Business, JAL, Delta, Ryan Air, China Airlines, MH-Business, IA, Vietnam Airlines-Business, PR, etc.) but I didn't get the experiences memorable as when I fly Emirates, and mind you I was only in Coach! What more if I am in Business class? Was about to do that but the 'sickness situation' came up.

Their training is very vigorous! You can’t believe it, they have special procedures for everything. If you’re star gold and fly business class, they have to address you by name. There are a lot of other things that are noticeable but then there are always the little things. They’re so grateful if you compliment them or something, and they are so kind to you no matter what. What’s so funny is that they say “oh, on every single flight to India, every row is another problem. All the way from row 1 to row 83! Oof!

Having lived in Southern Africa for 38 years, I always remember with pleasure flying to and from Europe with "K.L.M", on several occasions.The planes were always scrupulouly clean, the cabin crew friendly, efficient and always with a ready smile. Where’s Thai Airways? Whenever I fly with them they always greet people with that wonderful smile, and would always smile and be kind too you, and calms you down all the time. Thai has been granted with many awards for there Flight Attendants as well as Garuda Indonesia with Skytrax.

Singapore Airlines , Yeah , the cabin crew couldn't do enough for both my Partner and I , ( en route to Singapore then to Frankfurt and return all the way ) , flight was great , service was even greater , Both of us were and still are , "HOOKED", with Singapore Airlines , and after this pandemic , ( probably in 2021 ) we'll be going to Poland , Via Singapore Airlines again , and of course stopping over in Singapore and Yes we love Changi Airport !

I was just asking for a fish meal which was on their menu's list but she just told me off 'WE DON'T HAVE FISH! YOU KEEP ASKING FOR FISH!' She was very unassertive and so downright RUDE! Just because there wasn't any available fish meal, off she went serving another flying customer and left me with nothing to eat-- not even giving me any alternative at all. I can understand her rudeness, impoliteness and for leaving me with nothing to eat for the whole duration of the long haul flight if I was a non-paying customer but, then, still her behaviour was totally disgusting and unacceptable!

I can definitely attest to the fact that SQ provides great service even in economy class. They rarely disappoint. However that cannot be said of Qantas. I’ve flown QF twice in economy from HKG to SYD and both times were big disappointment. Cabin crew were apathetic and didn’t seem to care. Plus the fact that food portion size was pathetic and seat pitch was tight made for a very disappointing experience, never again flying QF.
I haven’t fly as many airlines as you have Sam. Here are my very memorable flights with great flights attendants. Most memorable for me was Korean Airlines LAX to NRT. They seriously flirted with me with their eyes when I was a young man. Then, Japan Asia Airways, NRT to TPE. Cathay Pacific LAX to HKG. EVA Air LAX to TPE. I’ve flown China Airlines, Air China, and American Airlines a lot, but absolutely nothing we’re memorable.

There's a misnomer that cabin crew are not educated. I work with many who have advanced degrees. Being cabin crew is a lifestyle and I'd rather fly to CDG and be paid to lay over and enjoy the city of lights and great food over sitting hunched in a cubicle day in day out. I have a masters degree in music literature and history. I play classical piano and I'm a cabin crew for a major airline.

Many yrs ago when my son and i flew from Greece to New Zealand, when S,A was flying to and from Athens to ChCh via Sydney, we traveled business class, when the flight attendant came to ask if we would like anything, they would turn to my son and say Mr Papapateras [ perfectly pronounced ] what would you like to drink, of course the kid of 8 years said a coke please, finally had to put a stop at 3 cokes thats over a period of a couple of hours, and say water not coke, but it was the Mr Papapateras that made me cackle, he was swamped with gifts as well, so many things i lost track in the end, i think Niko thought he was onto something good being treated like a little prince, and being the only child in business at the time. Great memories for him to have. Thank you Singapore Airlines
I have heard of similar stories from other passengers about the Singapore Airlines crew. It's their attention to detail and thoughtfulness that gives them that competitive edge over other airlines.
In my opinion Philippine Airlines has the most welcoming and friendly crews and and they are a reason for me to choose a Philippine Airlines flight instead of the competition.
When it comes to handle special situations as massive delays or unruly passengers Lufthansa crews are the most professional in my opinion.
Im Thai and I have flight with emirates last April 2019 flight to Amman Jordan, i can feel flight attendant air emirate service bad with asian girl passenger or maybe just with me ,,i m a backpacker always wear old cloth or hiking stuff that make me look dirty ,,,i ll give 3/10 for emirate,,9.5/10 for Qatar and 10/10 for Turkish ,,,i ve been travel 70 more around the world i feel most great service airline are from Asia(Pacific) Cathey and Garuda and Singapore the best also Thai 💜

My fav. of these is Phillippines, because i'd take warmth and food abundance over formalities any day. They're also the most attractive.
Out of all of these airlines that you featured here, the only one that I've flown is Quantas, but I would highly recommend them. I flew with them all the way from NYC JFK Airport to Sydney, Australia in economy. The food was good. I got around 2-3 full meals plus a snack, sodas, coffee & tea, & a hot cloth a few hours before landing. We got an amenities kit, the in-flight entertainment was good, the seats were cushy, & the crew were upbeat, friendly, & attentive.

Just came back from my first trip with Ethiad. I travel a lot between Europe and Pacific Asia. I didn't like Ethiad it at all. Abu Dhabi Airport is part of the problem: overcrowded, poorly organised, unfriendly staff, awful bus ride to and from the plane, flight delays. I hope this was the last time with Ethiad.

I love EMIRATES. Aside from the great food choices, nice services of crew, when I flew using first time using this airline in 2010, I was amazed to see in their coach section the individualized screens for entertainment where one can only find this in Business class section of other airlines that time. I've also flown Singapore Airlines, Business class at that on several occasions (others like TG-Business, JAL, Delta, Ryan Air, China Airlines, MH-Business, IA, Vietnam Airlines-Business, PR, etc.) but I didn't get the experiences memorable as when I fly Emirates, and mind you I was only in Coach! What more if I am in Business class? Was about to do that but the 'sickness situation' came up.

Their training is very vigorous! You can’t believe it, they have special procedures for everything. If you’re star gold and fly business class, they have to address you by name. There are a lot of other things that are noticeable but then there are always the little things. They’re so grateful if you compliment them or something, and they are so kind to you no matter what. What’s so funny is that they say “oh, on every single flight to India, every row is another problem. All the way from row 1 to row 83! Oof!

Having lived in Southern Africa for 38 years, I always remember with pleasure flying to and from Europe with "K.L.M", on several occasions.The planes were always scrupulouly clean, the cabin crew friendly, efficient and always with a ready smile.
Really made one feel welcome and never an "inconvenience" like some airlines, Lufthansa for example..!!

I had amazing experience with Singapore Airlines ALMOST everytime. Except once, attendant was so rude. Whenever I pressed the button, she would say, What now?
This was a business class flight I believe from Brisbane to Singapore.

by the way, to answer your question, I really love flying with Emirates airlines, Etihad airlines, and Singapore airlines for the same reason as the other passengers saying, excellent amenities and world-class service by their pilots and cabin crews. I've been flying with Emirates airlines for 26 years now.
