How did you know the compressor is out? Did it lock up ?
I got a 2015 that doesn't cool right, hooked up manifold and low pressure is fine but high pressure is low about 175-190 so my guess compressor doesn't have enough power to push pressure higher

The actual pins that connects to it was corroded on mine.. causing it to kick on.. and off really bad... However it sounds as if your compressor is weak... Replace your expansion valve also... its located on the firewall...
