This is a classic episode for anyone who has been a fan of the show since day 1! Happy Thanksgiving to anybody celebrating in America and thank you to all of the Bigger Picture fam and the chat for watching! What's your favorite song off of Kendrick's GNX right now?
Cant stop singing luther but I fucking love the "watch the party die" energy from wacced out murals. Would love a music video for it but understand if we dont get one
Co-sign my G!!! From Flatbush and IMO in order to unite the East like the West is right now, It’s gotta be a dope MC from Brooklyn that re-ignites that spark that’s been festering fa yrs. Pop had that energy, but we know how that went. FrFr, not sure who that could be but I think this def tha best time!
I RESPECT what Dj Hed said. I'm Mexican and we grew up listening to Rap/Hip hop and we support the music. We buy albums and we pull up to the concerts. We love the culture. And most of us are not on that black v brown non sense. In my humble opinion music is food for the soul, no matter what color you are.
Kendrick has been my favorite rapper for at least 8-10 years. I’m so glad he’s getting his flowers. 💐 Meg’s latest album is also. in the vein of the regional music mentioned by DJ Hed. I’m here for it all!
Hed did Jeremy dirty 😂. Please surprise the man with a Christmas text/ call from Dot. He’s a good man and is really good at what he does do his due diligence 💯
The Mariachi singer, Deyra Barrera, was NOT famous at all. She was simply Fernando Valenzuela's favorite local singer (she sang at restaurants). The Dodgers invited her to sing at Fernando's RIP/tribute at the stadium.
Nooooooooo Hed!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 My heart just broke for Jeremy especially watching how amped he was when he thought Dot showed him some love. Diabolical 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I saw Jeremy getting emotional and I was like what if this is a prank? Then I REALISED it just had to be and I have been unable to continue watching 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Kudos to Jeremy. The crash dummy bar was the main thing that stuck out on the album for me. Drake playing games and trying to insert outside entities into what should've been kept on wax is what made this deeper than rap. He couldn't compete lyrically and is spiraling now because he backed himself into a corner that he can't get out of. Don't jump off the porch if you're not ready to play tag because at some point you're going to end up being IT(In Trouble)
Couldn't compete lyrically? Win or lose, Drake is the ONLY one that competes with all of them lyrically. It doesn't matter if you think Drake lost terribly..the worst loss ever in hip hop..if you say his work wasn't top tier..and that Lyrically..just lyrically Family Matters wasn't as good or better than not like us, then you are not judging fairly. Kendrick wasn't even super lyrical on that song. It was all punchlines, name calling and fun.
I don’t think people realize how important that “ain’t no other king in this rap thing, they siblings” verse is. That’s a powerful 4 bars and reserved only for the goats.
From the first episode to here. . . I cannot believe this is how all this would unfold. . . Feels surreal. I actually loved how cozy and intimate THE BIGGER PICTURE WAS. It was like an amazing place only a few ppl know of ❤ but happy for them getting their air time !
This whole album sound like Dot dying to run a few a fades … so many references to throwing hands, catchin fades, bing bop boom bop boom bop bam, etc. 😂😂😂😂😂
It's 2:23 Am in South Africa 🇿🇦 and I got work in about 4 hours, but we on stream ‼️ TBP has now became a staple of my content consumption and I keep looking forward to every episode. Love you guys and the show just keeps getting better with each episode 🎉🎉🎉

I fell in love with him too. I would cry worst than him. Dot is everything this old woman needed to feel alive 😊 my son says I'm obsessed 😅I don't care. I play his music all day and might. His words are always in my head ❤❤
Thank you DJ Hed!!!! In NYC it’s Black and Puerto Ricans. People fight me tooth and nail on this. But I don’t argue with people who don’t know Hip Hop.
You have to be true to the culture and understand the neighbor, no matter what state or city you from. True classic music speak to the heart of the block, the neighborhood, the streets. GNX is a body of work true art needs to be watched, listen and read over and over to feel the power. Pure rap
Yep, I like regional/unique sounds. I don't like to hear everyone sounding the same. I ❤ when someone open their mouth and I can tell who they're or where they're from. DJ Hed on 🔥
Congrats to TBP on the highest number of viewers during a premiere! We got a new Kendrick album. And it's finally official; KDot is Elliott's #2. Hed is still on Jeremy's head, but unlike Kendrick he's got at least one person prayin' for him.
Yoooooooo! That was mean, DJ Hed. Jeremy’s got the patience of Job. I understand that this was get back, but the sarcasm was difficult to watch. I loved the show though😂

Kendrick even made his fourth album a double album just like Pac did. Then he’s looking to start his own label and put his people on like it was rumored that Pac wanted to.
Fam Im 44 from New Orleans when I 1st listened to GKMC I said Kendrick was the best of all time, he can do what all of the greats do none of them can do what he does all my people said I was tripping, I'm glad they finally see, Wayne is in my top 5 but only because he's a great punchline rapper he don't be talking bout shit, GKMC was me in New Orleans MMATBS was me at 40, Kendrick has growth in his music everyone else just be rapping bout the same shit.
Agreed!! I’m 40 and have always been an avid music listener (not necessarily consumer) but something told me to buy that GKMC cd. (I think it may have been the last physical 💿 I’ve copped too.) When I listened I was blown away. And after that listen, I was like he’s the one. Waiting for everyone to finally catch up has been painstakingly long lol but I’m glad they’ve caught up! Not even sure WHY there are even debates when it comes to him. There shouldn’t be any question that King Kendrick is a 🐐. I’m just glad that he knows this too.
GOTDAMN, any white boi that wants to be a part of hiphop should have a friend like DJ Hed to always remind him not to get too comfortable. :D Keep him on his toes.
This dropped same day as the budden podcast episode. You already know which one is gonna get more play and is an instant certified hood classic. WESTCOAST.
I think we need to acknowledge the shift in Kendrick's obvious and admitted savior complex. I think this year, he realized he is not Black America's but maybe the savior for the rappers who influence Black America. Or at least the West Coast ones
Naaaah “we” don’t have to acknowledge **** Dot has never had a savior complex. For you to even suggest such is insulting and betrays a deep misapprehension of this brother’s work.
