I love this pedal, especially going full wet on 14 reverbs for different wild ambient tones. At first I thought they sounded a bit sterile and digital. Then I discovered a secret - put a tube-like preamp pedal (I bought the Catalinbread 5F6) in front of it and it makes the reverbs sound warm and lush as well.
I got this pedal a while back as I was disappointed that most of these reverbs aren't in the GE300. Absolutely love it. Quick question for you though Ryan - really appreciate your demos. Do you have any tips for grasping this kind of improvised chordal-with-transitional-melodies playing?
Depending where you are I think this pedal should be available in 3 weeks, but some great alternatives I love are the Flamma FS02 Reverb and the EHX Oceans 11, both have that mix of practical and experimental modes :)
@@RyanLutton Thanks! I found your review on the FS02 and am loving it as well, price is nice too. Although I think your guitar playing could sell me a cardboard box with "pedal" written on it lol. Keep up the great work!
@@RyanLutton mine arrived yesterday. It’s got very high-quality algorithms. It can nail subtle reverbs on the yellow side and get full Cocteau Twins on the purple. My only gripes are that the reverse isn’t your typical shoegaze-reverse, more like a muddled whoosh. I do love the HC/LC controls instead of your typical tone knob - it can tame the harshness or some settings. The switches are clickless and it’s easy to move between presets (I haven’t MADE any yet, nor have I tried it in stereo). Only other caveat- every time you switch reverb modes the patch defaults to the preset, meaning that all knob positions are rendered meaningless. Not a problem, but I can see that being confusing for some. It won’t knock my EHX Holy Grail Max off the board, but it’ll stay. I do like it better than the Chase Bliss Dark World, the Red Panda Context v2, and the EQD Avalanche Run.

Hey, Ryan! Which one is better in your opinion: this R7 X2 or the Flamma FS02?
Thanks bro ❤

Hey bro. Do you think that with this pedal I can have reverbs as good as the Ampero Stomp 2?
I guess HC is for high-cut 0:55
Correct :) apologies I labeled them incorrectly, HC = High Cut and LC = Low Cut
@@RyanLutton Thanks for your video. Your channel is the best for the pedal showcase.
Thank you :)
Thats a good pedal, how much does it cost? Thanks
£128 on Thomann
haven't seen prices anywhere other than thomann, but in dollars that would be around 175 :)
Fantastic demo dude! Are there any comparable pedals on the market now that you'd recommend? I doubt this will be available to me anytime soon..

Argh, I still don’t see them available (or even a price) despite Mooer saying they’re out for the past 2wks.
2-3 weeks here in Germany, probably around 149.- €
They're available to order at Thomann, looks like they'll have stock in about a month. Thats when I'd expect to see them in other stores too :)
