I've played Super Star and the remake several times, and I had no idea that you could purposely put the partner in the death state by mashing the A button. I also didn't know of the location where you could get the Copy deluxe ability in Milky Way Wishes, that TAC could copy a mini-boss' ability, that he could switch back from abilities that he's copied, or that his block makes him completely impervious to even being pushed around by attacks. ...Why is a thief so powerful? Next thing you're going to say is that he can punch a planet in half.
a thing about P2 exploding. Kirby can also turn the helper back into their ability so whenever p2 goes into the dying state you can just turn them into the ability absorb it again and make them anew
Yeah, TAC can be… Spammy with his attacks to say the least, what with his hand constantly using Instant Transmission every time it hits something, hence making him a world-ender, contesting that of Frieza, Vegeta, possibly even Lord Beerus. Still, he’s amazing.
I remember playing as him in Super Star Ultra and being very confused as to why I wasn't able to turn into others when playing Helper to Hero. The pause menu said I could discard powers, other Tac helpers could transform and that's all the information I had.
Okay, great video and all, but thanks for putting me through an existential crisis. I’ve been playing this game since I was, like, 8 and I’ve never known you can mash A to make partners explode!
T.A.C. has a reputation for ANNOYING THE HELL OUT OF ME AS AN ENEMY, as a helper, Me: YEEEEAAHAAHH BOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
If I may suggest a "Most powerful character" I have to say Taupy Toplan from Sands of Destruction. He starts a little on the weaker side, but so does every character in the game. He's a 2 foot 7 inch (around .75 meters) bear, official species is Ursa Minor, has an eyepatch and a gun, but only uses martial arts to fight. He's a bounty hunter bear voiced by Eric Braa if I remember right. Why is this adorablely lethal bear so powerful? A few reasons. There are 2 ways to physically attack, blow and flurry. Blows hit hard and can delay an enemy, or knock them airborne or stun them which give a follow up attack, but the flurries are stronger in the long run. Flurry attacks are slightly weaker hits with multiple hits, and they can be connected/combined so 1 press will do 12 hits for him, and he can do that up to 5 times if he has good morale. That isn't unique to him but he has better accuracy because even though flurries are more accurate they can miss still, and his weapons are often a little stronger than others, so he can out pace everyone else. It wouldn't be as overpowered if he didn't have a unique armor, the bandanas. These give as much defense as other armor and more in some cases, but they all have a unique trait, "lightweight" which is awesome. What does the lightweight perk do? Raises his agility by a lot. Agility is how often the characters gets their turn. He can go twice in a row against end game enemies/bosses, including the final boss. However, that requires some grinding and an synth item which provides the "Agility up one extra per level up." which is possible to get at level 25 if you know how. He can get his ultimate weapon doing a decently easy challenge, you have to fight 3 or 4 other bear bounty hunters, they can 1 shot you, but have super low health, so should get 1 turned easily enough if you're in the 60's to 70's range. If you go first you should win. His weapon once obtained raise his HP and SP a ton. If you reach a high enough level it hits 999/999. This isn't a cap, it just doesn't show more than that, just like the stats only show up to 99 but are able to reach higher. You can get hit for 100 damage or so and still be shown as full health. He also is the only/earliest obtained character to get a revival spell. He automatically has it as it is his default healing spell. It revives and heals, so it can be a full revive, not just a psuedo-resurrection. (A different character may have one but I think it's not the default healing they have) If you have enough luck, Taupy can 1 shot the final bosses 1st form, and 2-3 shot the 2nd form of the final boss. It only has 2 phases. This technically could be done with others in the game (maybe excluding 1 or 2 characters) but It is way easier with Taupy as his armor is that good. There is more but I'll leave that there because this is a block of text. To summerize, Taupy has a unique armor type that makes him faster, can hit 12 times with 1 attack, up to 5 times if his morale is good, is able to move 2 times in succession even against the final boss, and is able to break the hp bar and agility number with little trouble with his ultimate weapon and armor.
You forgot to mention that he can steal your helper no matter how big they are, like you could have Bonkers as a helper, who is like twice his fucking size, and he just acquires him with one hand.
