Here you have Chaotic Evil (Orin), Neutral Evil (Ketheric) and Lawful Evil (Gortash) in a rare moment where they can actually work together. Not having Ketheric around inevitably would cause Orin and Gortash to turn on each other.
and that's exactly what happens when you do kill Ketheric lol. Out of all of them, for most mercenarial adventurers, Lawful Evil can be fantastic if they pay you well and you can get on their side.
I mean, they were about to turn on each other anyway. You can find letters in mooonrise towers and the Illithid colony that confirm that kethric wanted the stones for himself, and he expected gortash would do the same. As for Orin, her text says she plays alongside gortash for now, but will absolutely kill both of her associates as soon as they outlived their usefulness.
@@popkhorne5372 I appreciate that actually, it seems gortash was 100% trustworthy esp. When you detect thoughts him. Its appropriate that lawful evil would remain lawful. There can be no tyranny, no authority, without the trust of law and order.
@@popkhorne5372 yeah pretty much. The other two are too prone to their whims. Even Gortash commented that Orin was a worse partner in Bhaals service than D'urge
2:36 - 2:40 I A little detail I've noticed is that only Gortash, among the trio, is insecure in front of the elder brain, because he truly understands how dangerous it is. Orin and Ketheric are beyond caring. Orin is too crazy, and Ketheric is broken by the combination family tragedy + death cult. I like to think that Gortash knew, deep down, that the plan was going to fail.
he was Bane's chosen for a reason. this little hesitance was a result of the brain's greater will, a foreshadowing that it just pretends to be under their control as it reveals later on.
@@mercurial6480 It was under the Three’s control at the time. It was only after Ketheric’s death that the Brain broke free, and kept the ruse that it was still enslaved going until Tav/Durge arrived and killed Orin and probably Gortash.
@julia-xd8vo i disagree, maroon doesnt go well with burgundy or lime green. It would probably work for laezel if it could be colored white but coloring unique clothing usually retains the original color and adds the new one as a fade which wouldn't work well at all here. Though if it could be colored i would love to have it in violet and place it on shadowheart
So no way to kill all three in one fell swoop there i guess. Apparently everyone just stands around the twiddles their thumbs while three people parade the guy the party has been looking for all this time and the solution to the parties problems right in their face then dip. And for some reason everyone just lets it happen. Casting greater invisibility then sending your party back up so you solo sneak in invisible still forces the cutscene and thereby allows Gortash and Orin to get away.
actually there is a way. gale’s bomb. otherwise, no it wouldn’t be a good idea to take on three of the chosen in their headquarters while they have control of the brain and three of the stones and they’re all united with one goal. honestly the only reason why we even got an act 3 was cause their alliance fell apart after you take on ketheric
@@kiddbanditpro I haven't had a single encounter that lasted longer than one round on tactician because of the hammaraft build on Halsin. I could actually kill the three of them 5 times over in one round with the build and just using fly and dash actions. And even if they survived a round they would be prone and skip their turn due to reverberations

This is such a good catch!!
He did. The plan faltered when the Dark Urge got murdered/went missing. Gortash knew the plan wasn’t going to work without The Dark Urge.
Maggie Robertson (Orin)
Jason Isaacs (Gortash)
J. K Simmons (Kethric)
The voice actress for Orin does such an impeccable job. She dominates every scene she's in, it's so compelling
Fun fact: This is Maggie Robertson, who also did the acting for Lady Dimitrescu
simp
Jason Isaacs is so awesome with his voice acting here.
"The Slayer against the Undying one. That would be fun to watch"
Oh I bet you would enjoy it Enver.
He miss Durge :(
Why they bullying grandpa piss lmao

all 3 of them give such killer performances

love the jumpsuit gortash babe
LOL
Orin and Gortash are bae
I married them in one of my stories, and they fight all the time about Gortash's Alliance lmao
Ketheric is so cool
How did I not notice Jason Isaacs until after I killed Gortash?
Lucious Malfoy
Gods, I adore Orin.
Gortash first impression for me he look like edgy ff protagonist .
Your character looks like one that I created, his name is Kitiera Ashelina. He is always smiling and laughing.
Is this act 2? I got here last night using misty step from moonrise towers
Yes. This is almost the conclusion of Act 2
can you wear orin and lord enver armor?

Orin is well...naked
If I'm not mistaken, patch 5 has fixed that question for you.
