    It's a Williams International FJ44-4M, not a Honeywell.

BADLY: it's just a revamp of an early Soviet era trainer, with some new content. Think of an M345 (S.211) which already was a much more advanced trainer, and how it compares with an M346. The weight, engine and capabilities of these basic trainers are virtually identical.
The TA50 is super sonic, with a GE404 engine in the back, as the T7 will be, with an empty weight three times larger and 10 time more power. Advanced trainers like the TA50, the T7 and the M346 have advanced avionic suites and decent radars, while basic trainers are stripped to the bone, with minimal navigation and communication aids similar to civilian trainers.
It is cheap and designed to be. Most notably, it barely can carry a couple of light weapons under the wings due to it's limitation in power with rudimentary targeting aids, while it really has no advanced training capabilities when it comes to simulating advanced jet fighters.
There is a reason why Leonard produces both the M345 and the M346 and the Military have bought both in completely different roles.
The title of this video makes no sense.

L39NG and T-7 Red Hawk are NOT competitors!
The L39NG has a "Max takeoff weight" (MTW) of 5,800 kg (12,787 lb).
T-7 Red has MTW of approx. double that - more than 10,000 kg (22,000 lb). The official MTW (and the one in Wikipedia) is fake. I base this on the fact that the T-7 has an engine with an output that is 3 times that of the L-39NG. And on top of that, the T-7 has afterburners.
The price of the T-7 is therefore guaranteed to be more than twice as high as the L39NG.
