@2kenday I disagree. The pop tunes in the 60s were great melodies and good songs. I was also in to garage bands in the 60s, but every genre of music saw an explosion of creativity and growth in the 60s
Way too easy, but fun! I was 18 in 1969. I got the 10 out of 10. It's comforting for me that I don't have dementia yet. Music keeps us going, along with our memories of 1969 and other years. 😅
10/10 I was 10 in 61 and starting to get right into music listening to Radio Caroline brilliant we channel, I luv music to this day and still very much into it. Have a great New Year.
Easy peasy. Ten for ten. I entered my teenage years in 1968. Had the radio on all the time. The first record albums I bought with my after school money were Led Zeppelin, The Stones, The Who,, CCR and much more. I amassed a vinyl LP collection, then 8-Track followed by cassette tape, CD and now digital.
10 out of 10. I was 15 in 1969, had been listening to rock since my older siblings (4 & 3 years older than me) had been listening when they were preteens. Agree this quiz was too easy.
Back then there were no cell phones, internet etc. The radio was a big source of entertainment and the great music it had to offer. Being 74, I remember it like yesterday.
10 of 10 a perfect score on a cold windy day in Utica NY.if any of my wonderful quiz friends have any extra heat could you send a little my way .💞🇺🇸🌞😊🌈🎶🎸🎵💯👍
Happy Sunday Susan it was a balmy 3 degrees in Utica NY this morning and heading to zero tonight but at least the sun was out and it felt like 5 degrees 🤣.hope all is well in England and wishing you a wonderful day and evening 💞🇺🇸🇬🇧🌈🌞😊🤣
@@philb6490 Hi again. Still raining here! A bit chilly at the moment but no snow yet. There's always hope. Have a very Merry Christmas over there!🏴🇺🇲🥂🤗🎄
Happy Monday Susan I went to planet fitness this morning at 4.30 and it was 1 degrees. But I've lived in Utica NY for 71 years so I'm use to this kind of weather.hope you had a lovely weekend and wishing you and yours are very special Christmas 🎁🎄💞🇺🇸🇬🇧😊🌞🎁🎄⛄
10 of 10, great year for music. Was a high school junior and went with one girl for 8 months, eventually broke up and got together again in our 40's.music from that year was great, should have left the relationship over in 69!!!
I would have been 11/12 years old in 1969. 10 out of 10, 100%, loved the quiz! Creedence Clearwater Revival’s leader John Fogerty wrote 3 albums of songs and CCR released 3 albums in 1969 Bayou Country, Green River and Willy And The Poor Boys and out sold the Beatles that year and in 1970 CCR became the number 1 band in the world after the Beatles broke up!
Great quiz but easy for us older music fans & musicians. I've seen some of these bands on oldies tours & actually my wife & I have become friends with the guys from the Association The Grass Roots & The Cowsills amongst others
It was a great year for music, my favorite song from that year was "Reflections of My Life" by Marmalade, you want to go back in time, listen to that song, you all know it, great song!!
I got all of them ,even though I was 6 years old my older brothers played the radio at home all the time the radio station was cklw am in Detroit, motown
Well, I have to admit that your quiz here was a little bit more difficult than usual, and for myself, it doesn't surprise me as I was only 7 years old in 1969, and hadn't really become the huge music buff that I eventually did when I was between the ages of 10-13 years old, but mostly at 12-13 when I developed a huge love for guitar, even though I still have never fulfilled my dream of being a good player yet because of bad life choices and other things that have always just been out of my control!!! But the main point is that I knew more than half of the answers to this quiz, but I missed 4 questions because I just wasn't paying as much attention to music that much at the age of 7 years old!!! Lol Ernie Wilber 🤘👹🤘✌️
10/10. At 70 years of age, I lived through those song eras and then some. Good quiz. Thank you.
