Another great camp and adventure. Sucks in the rain but makes for great sleeping and keeping bugs away. I Always keep a bottle of Jameson with me for sipping when camping. Stay safe and dry out there bubba. Keep the camps and comedy coming.

Mint spot mate . Nothing like pulling up in the rain and that feeling when u finally set up , warm and dry with a drink in hand as the rain falls down around ya camp.I’m from Newcastle and have been gettin up that way since I was a kid . Now I go camping with my son. Can recommend the other side of Barrington, a place called white rock campground and ladies well in the upper allyn river if you’re ever that way . Love ya vids mate keep it goin 👍🏼🇦🇺
That’s the best feeling lol finally set up, the hard work done now you can just do nothing.l and watching the rain with no one there and no phone service is like meditation. Aw a newy boy, I live down there for a year and a half and that’s my go to on days off, was only there last week at bar beach. How good is that your now taking your own son to the places you were taking to when you were young that’s awesome mate. Yeah I’ve been to ladies wells probably 3 times, only drove up for the day to go swimming and all 3 times I didn’t actually get in lady’s well itself because it was that busy hey, it’s like merewether beach the amount off people there, we found some swimming holes a bit further up to ourselves. I will swim at ladies well one day lol I don’t know about white rock campground tho I will check it out, when I was up around ladies well those time all the campgrounds I drove past were chockas. But I wanna do more exploring that area, I the plan was to explore all of Barrington tops first then exploring the Chichester area. Thanks for your comment mate, keeps me motivated to do more
@@wheresjordowally6534 haha yeh man it’s abit to hectic that ladies well camp ground .. too many maniacs lol but I like to go up further then that and park me car and then I trek into the scrub with a pack and my dog and find a spot away from the actual camp grounds . Wild camping is where it’s at for me .. been Watchin east Anglian outdoors, the blot outdoors show , obviously Steve Wallis and a bunch more on UA-cam , so it’s great to see ya doin it in areas I know .. in the bush that is familiar to me. Let’s me be able to relax and feel like I’m there until I can get away from the city and get stuck in again. Been binging ur channel all day ai haha .. that second one up the mountain drinking rain water off the tarp ya mad lad lol love it .. them spontaneous camps where u just rough it out are sometimes the best ai . Please keep the vids up brother u got a good thing goin ai 💯👊🏻🖤

Just found your channel, It's great! Subscribed. If this was me, I'd have turned this tarp the other way, used 1 third as a ground sheet folded under, then stakes out the top into a similar (but smaller) shelter. Good vid :)

My favorite time of the year to camp is the early spring and late fall. Way less people, and no bugs, plus I like to sleep cool. I camped last year late in the year when it's getting colder here in the US and was fine (with a few drinks) going to bed and sleeping well. Woke up in the morning and it was 15F (-9.4C) and couldn't get my alcohol stove or butane working to make coffee to warm up but luckily I also had a small propane bottle for a tiny jet stove. I also froze my hands while packing up, but the heat in my truck felt awesome when I was done. Great video as always!

Thanks for watching I appreciate it, I have got to pop blue from the scone side before in a 2wd, it can get a little bit a steep going up in heavy rain wheel possibly might spin but it’s a pretty gravelly road. I would say avoid it if it’s raining in a 2wd but should be ok in perfect weather and has been dry leading up to, once you read singo gate the road is all pretty much flat and a good quality road to pol blue so you will be fine. Yeah your welcome to use it Dana haha when I set it up there was no wind, I knew it wouldn’t stand up if there was some wind and boy wasn’t there some later lol but that’s alright. Do ya? Yeah I’m a bit undecided on them, there great and pretty handy in perfect weather but I’ve set it up a tarp in my backyard when I first got them and then in this video they can handle wind to well, but I don’t set up tarps that often so I could probably do it better. @@wheresjordowally6534 I love using the tarps, I've got a 10x15 that I usually setup for certain trips. I just put a video out on the Airgun channel and now will edit the camping portion for the other channel. Lol It's neverending, I try for one a week but it's been tough. I would be interested to see your truck setup, do you ever sleep in the bed of it? That would probably be something you could do, throw that tarp over the bed and use the poles to keep it raised if that makes sense?
@@MountainSportAirguns I might need to rewatch some of your videos using a tarp to get some pointers. A video a week is really tough, especially with a young family, not only you got to film it then you need to edit it and I know from watching your videos with the different camera angles and your editing how much effort goes into yours. You know what that is a great idea for a video, chuck mattress in the back of the Ute and a tarp roof like you said, that’s good idea. I’m doing a road trip with my bro n son next week so after I do that I might do that

Hey Jim, wish I could help you but I’m not sure myself, I’ve been up there a fair bit but I’ve stuck to the main roads and main campgrounds and done a few off road tracks but a goal for myself when I get up there was to find secluded camp spots as well but ones I can drive to, sorry I couldn’t me more help to you mate
