This may be my go to vid to fall asleep to from now on. The sound of the rain and wind flapping the tent sounds like so many welsh holidays.

Oh my gosh I can relate but in a real life story. So I was camping with my sister, my dad and my grandparents. And then the second night we were camping, horrible storm. I actually like ended up sleeping with my dad in his tent because I couldn’t sleep. Very bad thunder, lots of lighting, heavy rain, we were on air mattresses and was like sleeping underwater, and oh my gosh it was BAD. Thanks for the video, new subscriber!

Beautiful mimosa tree. I’m glad your house was just right there in case things had become more dangerous. I live in Alabama and we have yearly tornados. 2011 was terrible for us. Hello, I wanted to give campers a better alternative. Tornadoes don't
always stay in their predicted paths and can change at anytime. People
like me who live in tornado prone areas have another option. Public
shelters!! Public shelters are popular with people who don't have a safe
place at home. Find out the county you are in and do an Internet
search for public shelters in that county. They open up normally when a
tornado watch is issued. A tornado watch happens before a tornado
warning. A tornado watch means that tornadoes are possibility in the
area. A tornado warning is when a tornado has been spotted either by
radar, by law enforcement, by trained spotters, and/or by the public and
it is on the ground. You want to already be in a shelter when that
warning is issued. It is extremely dangerous to be in an RV, any type
of vehicle, a mobile home, and/or a structure with a wide span roof such
as a gymnasium. Bridge overpasses are dangerous also. Don't try to
outrun a tornado. Unless you are a trained spotter, you don't know
which was it is going and under what conditions it will change it's
direction. Even trained tornado spotters have been killed when out in
the field chasing tornadoes. Cities which have had tornado touchdowns
are more apt to have a public shelter. The county list for public
shelters will give you information such as are pets allowed, is it
handicapped accessible, is it FEMA compliant and other pertinent
information. If you are in a site built home, go to the lowest floor
away from outside walls, away from windows. Wear hard soled shoes (if
your area is hit by a tornado and you walk in a tornado debris area, it
can cut up your shoes), a helmet (most deaths are caused by flying
objects which hit people in the head) and have a whistle and/or an air
horn. First responders are trained to listen for air horns and
    whistles.

I Really Love Camping in Bad Weather 😀 Makes it More Fun 😀
I Hope You Were All Alright in The Storm,
    I Think You Messed Up Your "FLY~¿SHEET" 😲 😦
Your "FLY~SHEET" Must Be Attached Properly with A Good Space in Between Your Tent Because it's The Tents Protective Sheet 😀
Really The Tent Needs To Be Put Up Securely Then The "FLY~SHEET" Put Over Your Tent,
But NOT Touching Your Tent, it was Designed To Give You Good Air Flow, & To K Keep The Flys & Bugs Out, Hence The Name "FLY~SHEET" 🙄
Pretty Good Video, Thanks for Sharing it & God Bless ☺

I actually have a Suma 2 and it went through some snow and worked great. How was it after the rain? Also, you mentioned Walmart tents. Last year I bought one and returned it when I found the Suma, but I will say it had aluminum poles. It was a lightweight 2 person for backpacking(reason I bought the Suma). Was that the one you tested from Walmart? It seemed like the features were pretty right on. Thanks. And I’ll be checking out your other vids. I found this from the Suma 2 review
