Ironically DoSM was supposed to stick but the fan backlash made him return. They were planning to phase all the heros out and actually continue the story with new generations

Ororo munroe has always been my absolute favorite super hero. The more i see of her the more i like her as a character. She is the perfect mash up of raw unbridled power and unmatched kindness.
The Wolverine/Storm relationship made the most sense to me. Storm with Black Panther and the like?… Meh. Wolverine with Jean or any other woman? The interest varies. This Relationship just works best for me. It’s like Nelson Muntz and Lisa Simpson or Rocky and Adrian. It fits.

I disagree with how you feel about the Storm/Black Panther pairing. It not only made sense but they were great together things only went to sh*t in that whole Avengers vs X-Men storyline.

But, the me what made Wolverine and Storm so great together is that they were so different from other and such a difference intrigues me, not to mention how useful to use such differences in their dynamic. In a different reality they are a couple. Like a hold one another while the end sweeps everything away couple. Doesn’t surprise me at all that a writer remembers this and incorporates those feelings into a different timeline for them. Even platonic friendships denied that romantic evolution deserve recognition… and she deserves her vengeance.
At the end where she holds Logan’s jacket and smells him is something anyone who has ever lost someone either because of death or a break up can understand all too well.😢

Disney needs to put Storm and Logan together when they do the MCU X-Men
Logan and Jean was always meh coz even in the most best and healthiest cases, it always had a underlined Cyclops thing. And unpopular opinion coming: Storm and Black Panther was only paired coz they both black, there I said it. Their relationship was always lukewarm at best. Logan and Storm had the most history and chemistry even when they arent a couple so they are WAY better than most of their other ships

Seems that wolverine had more love and passion for Storm than he had for Jean Grey. Jean made wolverine into more of a simp while Storm made Logan into more of a man.

As someone who loves Redheads, I've never liked The whole love triangle between Scott/Jean/Logan. I've always liked like idea of Logan and Ororo since the 90s X-Men cartoon. When it's time for Hugh Jackman to hang the claws for good, I'd love to see a scene similar to this.

Honestly, I want to see how Storm reacts to Wolverine coming back from the dead, healing factor restored and his claws now able to become super-heated.
I still ship Wolverine x Storm more than Wolverine x Jean anyway. Storm was at least single, where Jean was in a constant on and off relationship with Cyclops.
Now that's a good pairing. Never even thought about it since Storm always felt like the stuffy rule bound type, but I didn't think about how much she had to hold back constantly to not cause natural disasters with emotions. Contrast to that, Wolverine is the loose cannon honey badger you send on suicide missions to let loose.

Grew up loving the X-men and still do till this day like mostly everyone here in the comments but this hits different. Wolverine has always been my favorite and although I knew he died and in what fashion. It sucked to see how Storm reacted to this loss. It was powerful and yet so sensitive at the same time.
We all know Wolverine comes back in the comics when his healing factor reawakens after being sealed in that adamantium shell but still as I mentioned before it just hit so different.

A Queen and A Knight however are in a dynamic that always has the Queen reached down for his Humanity and he reaching up for her Divine, which has a kind of poetry to it.

@@thatcomicsman Someone who is particularly against shipping certain characters together, iirc. If I recall even more correctly, that can even be the case against an established couple. Someone can theoretically be an anti-shipper of Scott and Jean because they strongly ship Scott and Emma Frost, for example.

Which is why Storm decided to go to outer space. Everyone needs an outlet to let go of their feelings, mutants included. Some people already exert violent force when releasing their emotions; smashing things that are near around them, hitting themselves, etc. In this case, Storm is considered to be releasing her violent side and not being able to suppress anymore. But, because of her powers she can’t just take a bat and smash a computer.
But I do understand the notion of people being afraid of mutants. It’s just, emotions are a scary thing.
The jean/logan thing never made sense to me since logan has slept with or been in a relationship with at least half the women in marvel.

The relationship between Logan and Aurora was blossoming and booming beyond anyone else's comprehension even beyond the X-Men, only Xavier knew the true depth of their love. In one future they end up together, Xavier saw this future and never let it slip from his mind for he knew it may have been a greater possibility. However Logan had to die, he was a child of Romulus any overall narrative in arcing of the story the most nicest and most merciful child of Romulus, he was nothing like the other children, he certainly was not like sabretooth despite their unique similarities! But despite this when he died he went to hell, after all he's the best at what he does and what he does is it nice! 😏 However the interesting thing is once he was in hell they literally had no level of torture that they could expose him to that he wasn't exposed to in life, and storm did see him once more when Deadpool use the Infinity Stones to host his roast before his wedding..🤨 wolverine was there along with his hell based chaperone Mephisto!

Marvel always had the best story lines when it came to X-men, so realistic and you can relate. Comics was a great out for me, next to drawing and emulating those characters in my art.
I sometimes wish I had powers, then I remember I sometimes get too dang emotional and then I I am grateful that I do NOT have any powers....
All in all, wolverine/storm has always seemed the most healthy relationship between any xmen coupling.

Opposites attract, and this great relationship is a reminder of that. Wolverine with the magnificent looking Storm is awesome! I've always been attracted to her exotic features, imagine a woman like that in real life. Beautiful straight white hair complimenting her beautiful brown skin, and then the gorgeous blue eyes would put someone in a trance.
