Safety First: Use a qualified rigger to rig your aerial silks. Be fully warmed up before you attempt any exercises on the aerial silks. Place a crash mat underneath you and have a spotter to assist you.

For most of the years I was a self taught gymnast/contortionist and I started getting into the silks from these videos.just by watching these without any instructions I was already ready for these moves in 4 days. I really love doing this kind of stuff even though I don’t have silks yet.I’ve been using sheets but it works!
Um that is incredibly dangerous. First of all, you need a professional rigger to make sure your ceiling can hold your silks. Second of all, you can’t use sheets! They’re not designed to hold you like silks do. Also, you shouldn’t self train, it’s also very dangerous. None of that is a good idea.

Do you have any good ideas for strength building for aerial silks? I set my silks up about a week ago, and it's taken me that long just to be comfortable with the climb! It's just so much strength that ill need and i didn't know if you have any ideas of things i can do to help build up the right muscles. Thanks!

Could I make a suggestion. You seem to be doing french climb in all your videos, but maybe you could try russian climb. Idk maybe u prefer this one, but I find that once you've got russian climb it is much easier and you gain height faster using less energy
Your channel is great and your videos are so beautiful and helpful :) I started silks a few yesrs back and did 6 months (basics) but had to stop. Now I'd like to start again, would you consider these moves (and the more basic ones in your video) to be safe when practiced on my own? Obviously with mats and everything around. Because of Corona there are no classes with instructors held so I'd like to start on my own again. Thank you so much

Hello I have been waching many videos and doing stretches, workouts,ect. But I really REALLY want to start on the silks but I dont know where to get equipment or how to take care of silk. Let alone what to wear and to get for it. Can someone help me out please🥺🥺🥺🥺

I can't wait to try these! I got a really bad silk burn on the back of my knee cause I didn't wear leggings, but As soon as I'm better these are the first thing I'm trying!

The same thing happened to me a couples days ago it hurts so much
OOF, I know how you feel, I've gotten fabric burns on the insides of my arms and it's NOT fun!
I wore shorts while doing the miss America drop 😅 big mistake. I got some pretty severe silk burn on the inner part of my right knee lol
