Hello! I can’t find an option in the settings to change gears only when the clutch is depressed. and they turn on for me even without it, although I chose a manual transmission.(( Help me find where this setting is!)
I can see what everyone is talking about comparing dirt rally 2 and ea wrc. It definitely feels more realistic on asphalt as its not as floaty and slidy.
most locations actually. finland is the worst, unplayable for a finn that knows what it really looks like. the attention to detail is nowhere to be found. i think they just watched an onboard and put random unreal assets at approximately right spots.
Is it just me or is the back braking out even when you do a normal turn, so it looks like you are sliding all the time, dont know if this is deliberate programming. it almost looks like you have 4 wheels steering or is it just me? BTW nice run and congrats with your World record! i am not nearly as skilled as you but i play with the controller.

It's actually very easy. It helps if you have experience in go karts but irl you just have to practice a few minutes till the sensibility of the left foot recalibrates.
The physics are simply not realistic. Try driving like that in WRC Generations, you would be all over the place, just on track itself.... This looks more like Forza Horizon series arcade style physics. Also, a professional driver would never place different feet on both the brake and the gas. Right foot is for the brake and throttle. Left is on the clutch. Also, need a cockpit view with the steering wheel an all, because that's how it is in real life. Thanks for the upload.
its a sequential transmission, meaning there is no need for a foot on the clutch. its actually beneficial to use the left foot to brake while holding down the accelerator in certain situations
