First: Eren can't change anything from before he is beheaded by Gabi and gets the Founding from Zeke, the moment he changes something he becomes incapable of making a change reverting everything(probably this is what Eren(+Owl) mean by saying that he tried alternatives and everything just repeats). Second: Eldia can't be saved, that is the whole point of the show... the only reason Eren was able to give 100-200 years of peace to them is because the outside was reduced to ashes and the inside was afraid of revenge making them concentrate on arming themselves instead of infighting. Even if he did 100% that would have only led to a civil war within Paradis that would have eventually led to his and the scouts end... the whole point of the story is that conflict is "human nature" and a single person is perfectly incapable of changing that... that is why Armin accepts Erens choice in the dream, he knows Eren didn't really have a choice that doesn't include genocide

There's no reason to focus on the specific Bertholdt Carla situation. Eren could apparently control all titans ever. It makes no more sense for the story to have happened in the first place.
@@CombatUnit621 Time travel confuses Isayama too. Chapter 121+122 was great, but as soon as I read it, I knew there was going to be some plot issues somewhere. Time travel always leads to issues in storytelling.

@@crayyx the ending is OBJECTIVELY bad, eremika is OBJECTIVELY bad, and the partial rumbling is OBJECTIVELY bad 😭 the whole story was great, and then yams created the biggest piece of dogshit ive ever seen
Honestly Iseyama could’ve easily just said that Eren couldn’t completely control Dina because she was a Titan of royal blood. Zeke literally rebels against Eren to help the alliance so it wouldn’t even be breaking lore.
If killing her was a unforeseen consequence then it wouldve been well written and very shocking. The fact that he purposely did it quite literally assassinates his core personality. Why would eren ponder on what his mother would think of the rumbling, then when the rumbling starts, he purposely kills her, no hesitation. He doesn’t even try to reject that future, he just willingly follows it.
Isayama literally just had to not write anything about Dina. It was believable that she would be the titan to find Carla crushed under rubble, especially with Eren and co screaming and making so much noise. Having Eren be the one who sent her was just dumb and unnecessary in every way.
@@MrRisk1111Because it already happened and it has to happen. Eren guiding Dina to Karla is under the same logic of Eren manipulating Grisho into killing the Royal Family, except for Rod Reiss. In order for the sequence of events to occur and reach that point in which Eren is able to use the Founder's power, Eren must use said powers to ensure he gets them. Doing anything else causes a paradox. He has all the power in the world, but that power is what it KEEPS HIM TRAPED too. 2+2 is 4 guys. Connect the dots. Think about it, if Karla didn't die Eren wouldn't have had his hateful drive. He already had motivation for freedom and was planning to join the military, but his hate wasn't there until Karla was eaten. Furthermore, Eren did not send memories of Karla's fate to Grisha and Grisha himself asks why is Eren not showing him? Well, basically because Grisha learns about Karla when he talks to Eren in the refugees camp. Eren wanted Grisha to learn about her death by the words of little Eren so he would get his hate back and make the decision to give Eren the Founder. So you see, Karla had to die both to motivate Eren, and to guarantee that Grisha would give the power to him. Another question left: why Dina specifically? Why not another random Titan? To that there's TWO reasons. Bertholdt had to stay alive, The Colossal's power proved to be useful in the assault to Liberio, and the capture of the Marleyan Scouting ships. Also, if Bertholdt died, the Warriors plan would've drastically change, or they would've left. Like it or not it was thanks to the Warriors that the Scouts learned a lot about the Titan Powers and that led to them being able to overthrow the government, take back Shingansina, learn the truth of the world, and reach the sea. The second reason is the fact that Eren got a personal vendetta against Dina's Titan specifically. It's thanks to that fact, that Eren touches her in S2 and uncovers some of the Founder' Powers. Also, again, if the Warriors weren't there to capture Eren and have the chase in S2, Eren wouldn't have made contact with Dina. Guys I literally don't see the problem here. Previous to this revelation Dina ignoring Bert and coincidentally eating Karla were plot conveniences. Now they make sense, as it is Eren's doing to ensure him getting the Founder's full power.

Bertholdt-dina twist is just terrible It was unnecessary af: dina should have eaten carla just because she happened to be there and berth just hid in time as we thought pre-time skip. It wouldn't have been a plot hole either as it needed no explanation. Until post-time skip there was no mystery about it, this subplot ALREADY had payoff But isayama decided (um, why?) to ruin it by adding that panel with berth first and then revealing everything at the last moment when it didn't even matter anymore as it had little time to be explained and to make us feel at least some kind of emotion And now, after such a stupid moment for the shock value, we have dozens of plotholes as eren turns out to be someone who could have: - saved so many people: his family, comrades, friends etc. - solved so many issues in this story by coming up with much easier plans, - predicted the future and actions of everyone, - let dina eat bertold, led grisha to her after taking the founder away and made him touch his ex-wife to start the rumbling, for instance, - finished everything much sooner, even before being born, - used the ability to control titans through time and space multiple times and so on But no, "I'm gonna use it only once, to kill the person I love the most in this world and ruin my entire motivation, let dina avoid bertholdt, my enemy, IN PAST, even though it could help the island a lot, blame reiner for my mother's death and also ask myself what my mom would think about the rumbling while being the reason why she can't say anything now. Am I understanding this right? Eren could control the actions of all titans including the lesser titans, and could remove powers at any time. And he actually had this power restrospectively and chose all titans to act exactly as they did. And he chose things to play out like that because it brought about ultimate goal which was the destroy 80% of humanity and be killed by armin and mikasa so that they would be seen as hero’s. And he wants them to be seen as heroes so the remaining 20% of humanity will not hate them or paradis, instead they will love paradis because Armin and mikasa ended the rumbling. If that’s the plot then yes, it dosent make sense as to why eren chose it all to happen. He could have : A. Removed all titan powers held by anyone except paradis. B. Caused titan shifters and lesser titans to turn around and go harm Marley from the start - a lesser rumbling. C. Gone further back in time and prevented the outside world from advancing in the first place. D. Caused the rumbling to begin years and years ago . Why did eren specifically want a fraction of the outside world to survive? Why not just have them all killed? Then this ‘being seen as hero’s’ wouldn’t matter
Eren literally thinks about the Trauma of his mother dying and then says again that he is gonna kill all of them after he has recieved the Founder during the Rumbling. BRO YOU DID IT YOURSELF 🤡🤡😂😂
Wait, something to consider about the segment regarding Eren killing Carla: Eren gave Dina a 2 part command: 1. Go somewhere else 2. Eat this other person instead If he had the power to do that, he could've just as easily given her only the first half of that command: 1. Go somewhere else. He didn't have to kill Carla whatsoever But this implies that the only way he could've been motivated to do everything leading to the rumbling would be for Carla to be killed, which we obviously know isn't the case, from episode 1 season 1 But then according to 139's logic, this makes it seem like this whole timeloop/cycle/paradox/whatever starts with Carla being killed WITHOUT Eren's interference So what the fuck is the point of this paradox??? Literally fucking nothing
You're missing some facts. Carla's death was necessary to assure Eren gets the Founding Titan. Grisha clearly asks Zeke to stop Eren before he meets kid Eren and after he kills the Royal Family. Remember that Grisha asks Eren why he doesn't show what happened to Carla? When kid Eren tells Grisha that Carla was eaten by a Titan, Grisha is enraged and makes the choice to give Eren the power. If Carla was alive, Grisha wouldn't have given Eren the power because currently, he was against future Eren's plan. You don't need a character spell it out for you in an expository dialogue to understand that. This isn't even a theory, Grisha's attitude and voice tone completely change after Eren tells him what happened to his mom. And Grisha explicitly says "You're going to avenge her." Furthermore, yes, Eren already had the drive for freedom and violent reactions to anyone who threatened that. But it is precisely because of that fact that Eren made Dina eat Carla, so he had a reckless drive against Titans. Just look at how many things happened because of that. He being reckless got him eaten and discover his powers, allowed him to fight Annie in Stohees, to the point that she started to run away, leaving some damage to the wall, which led to the Scouts discovering Titans inside the walls, the wallist involvement, which supported Erwin and his father's conspiracy theory about the government, that recklessness made Eren hit Dina and because she was Royal Blood, discover the Founder's power within him. Do you see? Carla dying HAD to happen for Eren to reach the point of absolute power. Just like the Royal Family dying HAD to happen for the same reason.
@@danielmunoz1275 it's a dumbass paradox. He has the power to directly influence the future and he does this? It's just stupid as hell not that hard to understand like you think people are being confused by this

at this rate, I wouldn't mind for eren going the heisenberg route, even if it would be a complete rip-off: "I did it, because I'm good at it, I was alive", wouldn't make sense given his character development, but neither does "I'm an idiot, I don't know what I'm doing, only Ymir knows", it's just that absolutely anything would've been remotely better than the actual ending we've got.
About Eren wanting to protect Mikasa: I think there are only two times in the whole show that suggested Eren should/would/could protect Mikasa. One, is before he knew her, and rescued her from the kidnappers. And two, is when his mom told him to be a man, and that he needed to be there for Mikasa. Eren probably knew better than anyone else. Mikasa does not need protecting. He never had any mind to worry about Mikasa, and why would he? Mikasa is so skilled and strong she's practically untouchable.
@@annett_55555 Carlie was suggesting that Eren was acting the way he was to protect Mikasa in some way, even though once he knew what she was capable of, he never once thought of her safety or well being, or a feeling of protection for her.

@@av_kay5059 No, I disagree. @adampogadam2643 I didn't either before the ending got released. The thing is if I chose whom to get eren together with, I would prefer historia, armin or no one
Here is why I think the smiling titan needed to be the one to eat her. I believe it’s because so it can motivate him later on to fight HER SPECIFICALLY after she eats hannes. Eren specifically said HE HAS TO BE THE ONE to kill the smiling titan. And him touching her would set off the founders powers which would help them learn of the founders powers and it snowballs from there. All from making his mom get eaten. I think this is what Isayamas intention was in making smiling titan eat his mom. As for the part about beretholt being needed for later, I still don’t understand that.
If he can control her he doesn't need a motivation to fight her. He can just control her at the end of season 2 and make her touch him without the need of make her eat his mother first.
@@azmaweppayea but he wouldn’t say “it needs to be me that kills that titan.” They probably would have killed it or done something to not make the touching happen. Maybe mikasa would have helped hannes to kill instead of freeing Eren from his hands tied. Maybe hannes dies and then mikasa gets the kill right after and eren never touches her. That’s like the only thing that makes sense.
In the scene where Eren revealed that he sent Dina to kill his mother, I think that, although it could have been avoided, that couldn't happen. Eren said, "Because it's too early for Bertholdt to die", but the truth is that it would break the order of events. Like, it's the same way that future Eren influenced his father to kill the royal family (which is the peak of the show, in my opinion). This is a type of paradox, and basically, this can only happen in a closed loop. So yeah, in other words, Eren's mother died to complete the loop to make the paradox successful. She died for the plot haha. Now, switching shows to watch, I would recommend you Undead Unluck, saint. It's being made by David Productions, another goated studios, and the anime is pretty good. It has some new interesting creative ideas that no other modern shonen has. And the plot thickens every week...
@nuke2625 You clearly did not understand what I said. If Eren didn't kill his mother, the timeline, in which future Eren influenced his father to obtain the founding titan, would change, or, in other words, future Eren wasn't going to influence his father to do it, and the loop would break
I think the issue is, there's a difference between indirect and direct control. Eren only spoke to Grisha and Grisha made the decision himself. That's indirect but not complete control of the past. Eren physically controlling the past and making a titan do something directly is bad. The titan ignoring Bertholdt doesn't even need to be in the show. It's a dumb plot point. We don't need to see him getting ignored. It's assumed beforehand that they just sneak in, and that was perfectly fine. There's no plot hole with the wall breaking that needs to be explained by Bertholdt getting ignored. All it does is butcher Eren as a character. Remove that and almost nothing about the story changes except you made Eren less absolutely shit on.
@aaronyayger Yes, you can say it was Grisha who made that choice. But he was hesitating. If it wasn't for Eren's interference, he wouldn't do it. Also, even if you did remove the scene where it shows Bertholdt getting ignored by the titan, etc, you would realise that it would still be there a plot hole, simply because his mother was killed by a titan. That fact would stay in your mind, and you'd be asking yourself again, "Why didn't Eren use the founding titan's powers to avoid his mother's death?" Edit: To put it simply, from the moment we saw his mother getting killed by a titan back in the day, it was too late to change it. Or else Isayama would have to change a great portion of the story, including the founding titan's powers.
I guess if you were armin, the rumbling wouldn't have happened in the first place cause if arlert continued using his brain, he would have come up with a better solution

If dianas titan ate bertholt she could use her head to understand what happened and search for grisha on the hope he lived, she will understand that he was alive because he was a famous doctor and had children and she will seek out the children leading to eren and mikasa and saved erens mom, it would be reaaaaallly weird and would sacrifice old erens timeline but would truly save young erens timeline

Regarding the Dina plot twist: Eren could've just TAKEN AWAY RBA'S ABILITIES TO SHIFT! He could've done it when the Alliance was chasing him, but MuH fReeDuM stopped him from doing so, so if Isayama brought it up as a possibility, then it could've been done. Eren's interview showed him saying "To me, freedom is people being able to live ordinary lives without being threatened.", so JUST PREVENT THE FUCKING ATTACK ALTOGETHER! He could EASILY just "pull the plug" on every single attempt from Marley to attack the walls.
46:26 I am pretty sure Zeke was supposed to be a key rather than an engine. Ymir stopped obeying royal blood once Eren gave her free will and allowed her the choice of starting the rumbling or something like that. Ima guess that Ymir gave Eren the body of the colossal titan similar to the way that Ymir built Zeke’s body when he was basically dead. Ymir also probably was able to control time within the paths or something like that so these are my guesses. Either that or the colossal titan was just what Eren’s titan had became when he didn’t have the worm thing.
27:43 I don’t care about the romance stuff but Eren knew how Mikasa would behave over him and stuff, if she started worrying about him right away in season 1 and stuff. He wanted her to stay focused on herself instead of worrying about him and the situation he would be in. We see how Mikasa acted after Armin told her that Eren was dead, she started to lose the will to live and became reckless while using a ton of gas and almost ended up being killed. That’s how I see it.
What is really the reason for eren to kill his mom? I always thought it was to get the founding titan. Because we can see in memories of the future that after grisha killed all the royal family members and saw what the humanity had for the future he asked Zeke to stop Eren, as it was that horrifying. But if that's what grisha thought why would trasfer the founding titan to Eren when he reached back to the refugees camp? I think that this is what is answered here. Eren made Dina kill Carla. So when grisha returned back to eren, the kid eren only mumbled "titan ate mother". But the future eren would have trasmitted his memory of that scene to Grisha, and then grisha will know its Dina who ate Carla. This would have angered Grisha since Marley didn't only take his first wife from him but they were the reason why his first wife killed the second, when he was trying to put that all behind and lead a new life inside the walls (although he is still griefing about his first). This must have angered him and that's why he passed on titan to Eren. Even in episode 11 of season 3 he said avenga Carla knowing well of what Eren will commit with the founders power. And also said that Eren is different to Keith. But this was never mentioned in the show, while this reasoning made perfect sense to me. And this was just cancelled by the final movie where grisha still wanted to stop eren and hence helped the alliance.
The girl is 100% a manga reader cause she immediately started defending the series with manga reader defensives and was talking about Isayama usually anime onlies don’t talk about the manga author 🥴
Both men and women who don't use their brains love toxic relationships. I hate eremika, armin/annie and edward/bella or bella/jacob as they're toxic af
I think the main argument on why Eren had to kill his mom or rather has to make sure that what happened in the past actually occur is to avoid the risk of the founding titan not ending up with him. If Dina ate Bertholt, there's room to say that Eren would lose to power control the titans and would have not have the power to change things in the first place, it would be a paradox. That said, there's also room for argument that he could have just eaten Dina at a later date. He could have crafted a new history where everone is safe but the show failed to show this, making Eren look like an idiot. The show could place limitations in his time altering powers, like for example, Carla dying in front of him is a fixed point in the history and can't be changed whatever he does. It could have shown Eren doing multiples things to prevent Dina from eating Carla only for fate to intervene and have her die in a different way etc..
She didn't have to eat Bertholdt... The issue isn't the events that happened, it's Eren saying that HE made them happen. Which is completely unnecessary given that the situation didn't need any further explaining. It's already believable enough that Dina would be the titan to find Eren's mom without some forced explanation. Having her walk past Bertholdt and ignore him just made the situation dumb, when Isayama could've just had Bertholdt not be there when she arrived.
I would have just said the founding titan isn't capable of manipulating past events and left it at that. let his mom's death be what it was before, a random tragedy. the only other time there is any manipulation of the past is Eren convincing Grisha but that can be explained by the mess of knowing eachother's memories. Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no other instance of the founding titan affecting things in the past right?
When Eren said he killed his mother, I personally feel it would have made more sense if he said he made Grisha and her fall in love as his reason. Other than that I will just accept the ending and personally move on, even with all of the plot holes, I love AOT so much but the fixed timeline is something that I think is a double edged sword, it’s interesting but also feels like lazy writing considering all of the head cannons that need to be made in order to fill in the plot holes. I don’t think Eren’s character was assassinated like so many people are saying, I know why people are saying why but I think his character can be interpreted in many ways.

16:30 But they also rushed Isayama, you complain about the ending but don’t complain about Isayama not being given enough time? I know 2 years or more seems like a lot but something else that is a lot is the massive lore Isayama made within AOT. I blame Isayama’s editor and Mappa for all of the plot holes and I am someone who was fine with the ending and Eren being a pathetic character(I thought he would want to do 100% rumbling but I also expected him to die so oh well), I still blame Isayama being rushed for the unanswered plot holes. He is a brilliant writer if he is given enough time, but in this case he just wasn’t in my opinion, the reason Mappa cooked because of the amount of time it took to produce the ending, the voice actors voice acting, musicians slaying, and all of that which lead to Isayama being rushed in my opinion, because once the ending was rushed it was *destined*to still have plot holes because of the time and effort the poor animators take into crafting the animation.

3:18 if Eren didn't "kill" his mother, he would have never got the power in the first place, he would have never went on to become the Founding... this is a time loop if it wasn't obvious, Eren is obsessed with "Freedom" because he is a slave to his ability to "see the future" which just makes him follow a single path where all of his friends can live long lives... In short Eren can change little to nothing till he gets his powers, aka the moment Zeke catches his head, everything before that is written in stone, that is why he can't change things... you might call it a copout, but this is what comes with time travel stories... Eren only really becomes free when he dies, just like Zeke said when he talked with Armin... I have yet to find a valid argument against the ending that was chosen(I don't think it was amazing, but if you think the logic is seriously flawed you probably just didn't pay attention, I have problem with the way it was presented, but videos like this prove that not only there was not too much explanation, for most there was too little, I would have preferred if things stay more ambiguous). The only thing that is actually wonky is the reason for why exactly Ymir needed a proof or example from Mikasa, which is the only thing that is deliberately not answered in the show...... btw my running theory on Ymir needing Mikasa isn't even about Mikasa or love, it's about being "human" and willing to fight "evil" even if their actions benefits you(aka would people revolt against their dictator if they were winning), but that's just head-canon and maybe Iseyama wanted a more f-ed up "romantic" ending therefore went with Mikasa's love+murder being the key...
Of course he would of gotten it😂😂 he’s the founding titan he can do anything he wants😂😂😂 he can remove the titans powers from Freda, Reiner ,Annie let Dina eat berthold then send all the mindless titans back to the ocean to drown themselves then start the rumbling 😂
@@aotgoat3267 Did you even read what I wrote?

@@thelegacyofgaming2928Shut up! Determinism!

It was unnecessary af: dina should have eaten carla just because she happened to be there and berth just hid in time as we thought pre-time skip. It wouldn't have been a plot hole either as it needed no explanation. Until post-time skip there was no mystery about it, this subplot ALREADY had payoff
But isayama decided (um, why?) to ruin it by adding that panel with berth first and then revealing everything at the last moment when it didn't even matter anymore as it had little time to be explained and to make us feel at least some kind of emotion
And now, after such a stupid moment for the shock value, we have dozens of plotholes as eren turns out to be someone who could have:
- saved so many people: his family, comrades, friends etc.
- solved so many issues in this story by coming up with much easier plans,
- predicted the future and actions of everyone,
- let dina eat bertold, led grisha to her after taking the founder away and made him touch his ex-wife to start the rumbling, for instance,
- finished everything much sooner, even before being born,
- used the ability to control titans through time and space multiple times and so on
But no, "I'm gonna use it only once, to kill the person I love the most in this world and ruin my entire motivation, let dina avoid bertholdt, my enemy, IN PAST, even though it could help the island a lot, blame reiner for my mother's death and also ask myself what my mom would think about the rumbling while being the reason why she can't say anything now. A. Removed all titan powers held by anyone except paradis.
B. Caused titan shifters and lesser titans to turn around and go harm Marley from the start - a lesser rumbling.
C. Gone further back in time and prevented the outside world from advancing in the first place.

139 ruined one of the most powerful scenes in AOT.
This series would've been fun to rewatch if not for the ending. Same with GoT.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 Yeah early AOT was great, then this ending ruins episode 1 when Eren's mother dies.
Eren literally thinks about the Trauma of his mother dying and then says again that he is gonna kill all of them after he has recieved the Founder during the Rumbling. BRO YOU DID IT YOURSELF 🤡🤡😂😂
Wait, something to consider about the segment regarding Eren killing Carla:
Eren gave Dina a 2 part command:
1. Go somewhere else
2. Eat this other person instead
If he had the power to do that, he could've just as easily given her only the first half of that command:
1. Go somewhere else.
He didn't have to kill Carla whatsoever
But this implies that the only way he could've been motivated to do everything leading to the rumbling would be for Carla to be killed, which we obviously know isn't the case, from episode 1 season 1
But then according to 139's logic, this makes it seem like this whole timeloop/cycle/paradox/whatever starts with Carla being killed WITHOUT Eren's interference
So what the fuck is the point of this paradox???
And Grisha explicitly says "You're going to avenge her."
Furthermore, yes, Eren already had the drive for freedom and violent reactions to anyone who threatened that.

The only bad parts its just ymir the ending its alright dummbaass
About Eren wanting to protect Mikasa: I think there are only two times in the whole show that suggested Eren should/would/could protect Mikasa. One, is before he knew her, and rescued her from the kidnappers. And two, is when his mom told him to be a man, and that he needed to be there for Mikasa.
Eren probably knew better than anyone else. Mikasa does not need protecting. He never had any mind to worry about Mikasa, and why would he? Mikasa is so skilled and strong she's practically untouchable.
What were you driving at?
@@annett_55555 Carlie was suggesting that Eren was acting the way he was to protect Mikasa in some way, even though once he knew what she was capable of, he never once thought of her safety or well being, or a feeling of protection for her.
Tbf (Idt this is the best course of action nor excuses what was written but) I think he meant protect her as in “I wanted her to hate me so when it came down to this she’d be able to move on”
Protection from herself in a way
Could we have had a bit more love sprinkled out? Sure
Could we have had a better written Tsundere Eren if that’s what the plot twist is going to be? Sure
Etc etc
But all things considered I feel this is the most excusable point out of all of them, and to me one of the only ones that didn’t really matter much to (similar to Ymir’s love for Fritz, but I can see how those 2 can be a big deal for some and how they def could’ve been done better, I just tossed Ymir up to Stockholm)
Still though, good premise bad execution ig
@@av_kay5059 No, I disagree. It's not that it could have just been "written better" but that what is written is contradictory to how characters should/would behave given everything we know about them. None of it makes any fucking sense dude.
@@loayzc10 I agree on the final part but I def disagree that it wasn’t just bad execution; to me it was simply bad execution, it’s fine if we’ve never seen Eren show his feelings for Mikasa if we’re give the reason for it and it were executed better

She died for shock value.. it only affected the plot. But yeah undead unluck is alot of fun:)
change the order of events? tf you talking about. all eren did through half of the show is change/influence things with the founders power.
That fact would stay in your mind, and you'd be asking yourself again, "Why didn't Eren use the founding titan's powers to avoid his mother's death?"
Edit: To put it simply, from the moment we saw his mother getting killed by a titan back in the day, it was too late to change it. Or else Isayama would have to change a great portion of the story, including the founding titan's powers.
If I was armin
Eren: I slaughter 80% of humanity
Me: *get mad*

That’s how I see it.
carly and ange are great.
Damn Saint roasting AOT so hard in this one xD (at the moment with roblox shit im done)

28:07 Please I'm a girl and I HATE this nonsense!
@Saintitchief is living rent free in Isayama's head 😂
Alr, we get it bro
i already know that if the yeagerist see the alliance it is on sight
why didn't bro just have dina pick up the rubble and carry carla to safety?
When Eren said he killed his mother, I personally feel it would have made more sense if he said he made Grisha and her fall in love as his reason.
Other than that I will just accept the ending and personally move on, even with all of the plot holes, I love AOT so much but the fixed timeline is something that I think is a double edged sword, it’s interesting but also feels like lazy writing considering all of the head cannons that need to be made in order to fill in the plot holes.
I don’t think Eren’s character was assassinated like so many people are saying, I know why people are saying why but I think his character can be interpreted in many ways.

But having Dina eat bertoldt is just unquestionably better than 80% cry over step sister paradis nuke ending 😂 imagine she became a shifter.
Man. Te ending is trash. ...
So basically eren killed his mom to let his friends live long lives.. Lmao This ending gets more dogshit the more you dissect it
Of course he would of gotten it😂😂 he’s the founding titan he can do anything he wants😂😂😂 he can remove the titans powers from Freda, Reiner ,Annie let Dina eat berthold then send all the mindless titans back to the ocean to drown themselves then start the rumbling 😂
@@aotgoat3267 Did you even read what I wrote? The moment he changes something from before he was murdered by Gabi he changed the past and is no longer able to change anything thus whatever he did was erased... Eren had 4 choices: 1- roll over and let everybody he knows die by the hand of the alliance(he could do this at any point), 2- do 100%, erase the titan powers then watch as new eldia eats itself alive as Jaegersists fight the Crown and endanger his friends with a civil war 3-Do 80%, and give Paradis 100-200 years of peace until the world becomes ready to annihilate it... he chose the 3rd option because that is the only one where his friends live... there is a 4th option, doing 100% then, erasing all other titan powers then staying a god, basically enslaving all Eldians under his rule, until somebody murders him in his sleep...
They still liked the ending though. It’s time to move on to better things chief. 😂😂
Yeah but they did mention a lot of problems with it that other reactors didn’t even think of so props to them for keeping their brain on
Even with the negatives pointed. It's clear they are scared of the mob
@@ShadowStrike470bro it's totally normal to point out criticism, many reactors did that as well. But most of them liked the ending. It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't garbage as well, but this dude is losing his mind, going after every reactor who liked the ending and just started blabbering by himself. I'm not even subscribed to his channel but his videos keep popping up
@petermiigua9139 pointing out criticism is totally normal and almost every reactor pointed out at least something but none of them are gonna be crying for years about how bad it is. You can still like a show even if you dislike 1-2 things
Every reaction channel "liked" the ending. Do you honestly believe any of them will risk saying it's bad given how crazy the ending defenders are? Just look at their comment section on that video. People basically calling Ange dumb and "unable to understand the ending" for even criticizing it. Imagine if he said it was bad.
