Thanks so much for this video I wish there were more people like you in this industry. All the ones I have meet don’t like to interact with people they are rude and just out for money. I had one guy not even check for a leak he just went ahead a replaced a gas valve. Back then I didn’t know anything about anything I was young. But you really did a good job and walk-through. Thanks again I can tell you love your work so keep doing what you do. 😁

I’ve been using the Milwaukee m12 tire inflator to pressurize gas lines works really good. Just changed a valve on a Trane furnace yesterday actually for leaking by. Good video 👍

In our area Center Point suggest removal if all manual gas cocks and cap off the lines. If the gas valves are still on the piping, they won't do the test.
Had a big hotel with 5 large Raypack gas boilers. About 495,000 btuh each. Boiler would start prepurge fan and hot surface igniter. When the pilot valve opened to start the burner it would completely shut down, that was for all boilers.
Several other companies had been there replacing parts.
The gas supply was designed for 7" wc. Found out the utility regulator had failed and now the gas pressure at the boiler was 10 psi. The gas valves were locked up.
The utility cane out and changed the service regulator. I had to replace all the high gas pressure safeties, but the gas valves were not damaged. I thought like youn2 psi max. I tested all 5 if the valves and they were still working. Had to have Raypak send out a notice that these valves needed to be changed out. Like everyone has already said great vid !

I don't know what the actual name for it is called but it's a gas meter adapter. You can then use adapters to get you to a gauge...

Still the most common heating fuel. Good to see how you do that. A helper would have been handy for that. Thanks.
