Hi folks, here is part 10 of my EXTREME PLAYTHROUGH of Days Gone. I hope you all enjoy the video.
I had to laugh when Borislav went to the trouble to kill a few Freakers and then nearly left the survivor to die. He was in a hurry to get to that ambush camp. 😂

I always feel like I’m “home” once I reach Lost Lake Camp. I was really hoping you’d throw a rock at Skizzo when you were sneaking into the camp. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than throwing a rock at that motherclucker’s head, even if you get caught 😉 Maybe next time 😊 Once I’m at Lost Lake I also like to clear out all the Ambush Camps first before doing anything else, along with the infestation zones. Your “smoke bomb fail” at the Deerborn Ambush Camp actually made me lol. Do you know how many times I’ve thrown a rock instead of an attractor when running from a horde? Too many 😂 Pro tip - rocks don’t stop hordes 😆. That Deerborn Ambush Camp takedown had a lot of chuckles and was pretty awesome lol. And I must say, your pea-shooter skills really are improving! As always, another great episode, lots of adrenaline pumping exploits in this one! See you on the next!
Thank you Violet, and yes, I finally have incendiary bolts so I can get these infestation areas sorted with far less bother. Just the rest of the game to worry about now, lol. And I still curse that sodden inventory wheel for using one of my beloved smoke bombs.

LOL he's great at killing hordes not so great at directions. It was at least a one shot episode for sure. (Take a shot every time he gets lost! LOL My shot is Bepsi Zero but it's still fun!)
This one is a tad embarrassing my friend, as I'm trying to show something important about the ambush camps. Well spotted, and my directional skills bike wise get worse, lol.

I love using Residue bolts on the Ambush camps, sitting back and watching the fun play out! I was shocked one day when I accidentally tagged one of the melee campers & she jumped in the house and took out the heavy! So satisfying!
Residue bolts are so underrated in this game. One of the best weapons you can possibly have. Unless I was going horde hunting now, I would always keep the crossbow as my special.
@@borislav247 I agree 100%! The crossbow/drifter crossbow is a superb weapon for damn near everything but the hordes. My entire first playthrough I used the crossbow throughout most of the game.
I cannot figure out the point of the poison bolts. I thought they'd poison many of em at once or something but never managed to make it work. I wonder if you poison one at the feeding grounds, would others eat it and get poisoned too?
@@Lady8D L8D, you'll see later in my latest playthrough, just what a help these poison can be, and it's the RUNNERS. 1 shot with a poison bolt will kill them, now not immediately, but they run away before dying, so they are golden for me. Another discovery on my latest playthrough. I'm learning all the time just like everyone else. The crossbow is the best special for me now, I'll take it any day over a sniper rifle for it's sheer versatility.

Hey Boris happy Friday another great episode of Days Gone 👍🏻 taking out those ambush camps are always fun but shit can still go wrong no matter how many times you’ve played them 😂
Indeed my friend. The ambush camps could have gone a tad smoother, especially Berley Lake, but delighted to get another area of the map fully opened, and get those fantastic incendiary bolts.

That line Boozer delivers is, to me, hands down the best line delivery in the entire game, "We're all gonna fuckin' die." Perfect deadpan delivery. Cracks me up every time. I used the horde to take out the second ambush camp, gotta save ammo. I've taken out 3 hordes but I'm not gonna take out a 4th cause I just know I won't be able to keep from using the SMP9. That f*&ing SAF! I hate that gun. Nice shootin'! For some reason I didn't see that this one dropped until 13 hours after you released it. So weird!? This is so fun!!
You are right my friend, and Boozer seems to get all the best lines in the game for his dialogue. The guns are frustrating for sure TW, and I get why you ain't going for that forth horde. It's temptation in a big way once that bad boy is available, lol. Strange indeed with the delay for this video, but delighted you watched it.

I often threw pipe bombs at nests thinking it was a molotov, wasted so many in the early parts of the game
I like the idea of painting the bike a bright color, since the enemies don’t seem to notice and its much easier to spot especially if you’re playing with no hud. Another winner Boris, Im looking forward to the next chapter 👍🏼

Great ambush takedowns, I've never gone into Deerborn the way you did, I always seem to go in at the other end but everyone is pretty central either way.
Incendiary bolts are the best, either for nests or burning up rippers and maurauders in their camps.
I'm actually rewatching your other playthrough series at the moment just to get my boris fix, good job. 😊
Lol, you do like the incendiary bolts Darryl. I loved watching your attack on Deerborn with them in your video. I don't think there's quite as much swearing in my previous playthrough thankfully, and I appreciate you watching it my friend.
@@borislav247 they are great for one shot silent kills and look impressive. I've uploaded Aspen Butte and Jefferson Rail Tunnel camps taken out with Incendiary bolts.
@@darryl280 Very nice Darryl. Got to admit, I really didn't take full advantage of them in this playthrough.
I hate that first mission, with the slow walkers and very well guarded courtyard. Also, if you get caught towards the end of the mission, Skizzo and Iron Mike will no longer leave the infirmary; they will just stand in front of the infirmary door. I don't know if that's a bug, but it sure feels like one. I'm not sure if you can pull them off with rocks or not. I ended having to restart the entire mission instead of using checkpoint so that they would walk off again. Really frustrating mission if you make any mistakes. I like the sneaking around the back trick and will use that if I ever try that mission again.
Good to know about the bug on this mission mate. I've never had this happen, but I totally get how frustrating that would be. And yes, always head over to the walkway for a faster and safer entry. Saves so many headaches.
Nice job getting the incendiary bolts early. I was surprised that you turned down the drifter crossbow as it had a slight buff to damage and range. You already put yourself at a disadvantage with your self imposed restrictions so I figured every little bit helps. I must say I got a queasy feeling in my stomach when Addy gave you her shopping list which includes ' the knife ' .On the bright side we got to meet up with Rikki who is one of my favourite characters and her missions with Deke are fun. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes ( minus ' the surgery ' lol ) as the story gets more and more interesting. On a side note , I realized I have a strong heart because it skipped a beat with your close calls with the freakers and I am still standing lol. Grrreat video my friend !
I've got to admit FM, when I seen the stats of the Drifter's crossbow, I just decided very quickly to stay with the original starting weapon (despite what I said in the opening of the first episode). Just thought it would keep this playthrough bang on extreme, lol. Some great stuff coming now that a few more characters are in the mix, and some more craziness of course. thank you as always for watching my friend.

Great stuff. I never really used the crossbow after getting the better rifles and machine guns in the game so seeing you using those incendiary and explosive bolts is interesting as I don't think I did.
Got to admit John, in my previous playthroughs, I'm the same as you, as I heavily favoured the good guns, but this playthrough had made me seriously rethink about using the crossbow more in future playthroughs. The SAF12 & 9mm, not a chance, lol.
@@borislav247 Yes, using those 2 was one of the bravest decisions you made in this playthrough mate :)
@@borislav247 I love using the explosive bolts in the ambush camps. They are particularly useful in the camps with the boxing matches since the marauders are already grouped so nicely. Then a residue bolt or two brings their numbers down quick.

Hi Boris another great video bet you was glad to get incendiary bolts crossbow is great if you can use skills get nocked up but not for you this time .have you got out planned for the future like only use melee weapons but seriously Ihave you anything in the works regards ian
Honestly Ian, a lot of videos that will fill Days Gone gaps that I haven't taken care of yet. Marauder camps & bounty hunter missions are going to get the full treatment. Nero stealth missions are going to be shown with easier ways to take out these annoying missions. Going to also show a tutorial video on how to open up all the nero checkpoints safely, and a lot more also to come my friend.

Now that i think about it why couldnt deek throw the boot knife? Or use bolts to stab? Missed opportunity for bend in it? Can incendiary bolts hit multiple nests like molotovs? After wolves jump attack you there vulnerable to melee attacks, on s2 b blade melee weapons are lethal vs wolves/runners in CQC and you can sometimes interrupt their jump attacks. In survivor 2 its amped up from s1 everythings lethal
Yeah, the runners attacks are nasty on Survivor II, and I think you can hit multiple nests if you have a good aim. Pretty sure I manage this later on in this series.
Is it worth playing the game on the hardest level? I finished the game on normal level. Watching you play on this level with no good guns, no resources and no perks looks really hard and frustrating. 😂 I'd be cussing the while time! Love your videos though!
Thank you mate. And I just wanted to play the game like this to show a different way of playing, as my limitations force me to. I wouldn't recommend the toughest difficulty level for a first attempt. It's more enjoyable for the casual gamer on normal.
@borislav247 I have played the game and passed it. Now I'm looking to play on a harder level. Should I go for the hardest level? I feel like hoards are super difficult specially with no good guns and no resources and no skills you can use. You sure make it look easy! Thank you for the awesome videos!
@@lunatico9596 If you've played this game before, then I recommend trying the game on hard II. It's a good test, but you still retain fast travel and the mini map. Don't try what I am doing, lol, as this to most people would not be considered fun.

Nice... two of my favourite ambush camps. The Berley lake one i usually try to see if i can clear the camp without actually entering it.
I noticed it doesn't look like you're using giro aim. Any particular reason for this? I find aiming with the thumbpads a fucking nightmare.
Not sure what you're meaning when you say giro aim?. If it's focus mode, that can't be used on this playthrough my friend. And boy do I miss it, lol.

Oh mate, the runners give me a LOT of problems in this playthrough, but some interesting ways to deal with them are eventually shown, lol.
Ps its same amount of guards either way b upto that point. I disagree b lol drifters crossbows shots are more accurate vs original cb its average lvl 3 and drifter cb is a spec 4 weapon B = better weapon
Totally agree that the Drifters Crossbow is a superior weapon to what I currently have, but I decided to just keep this playthrough super extreme, lol.
@@borislav247 when drifter gets unlocked default goes back in locker hehe if it was any other difficulty I too would have left it in locker but this is survivor and is within the rules too plus it's better at hitting long range targets but ur choice b I'd av gone with dc as it's survivor were things matter more than hard 2 I didn't no 3 skills were disabled in survival tree though hehe.
@@SoldierXtreme I see your point but at the same time it's an _extreme_ playthrough - Borislav isn't likely to choose a better weapon when given the chance, he seems to enjoy the pain of limitations this playthrough 😁 Which I very much appreciate, for our viewing pleasure

Apologies MSW, and it pains me to say that the next few episodes don't have them either. I switched them off to make a standalone video, and forgot to put them back on again. They do get put back on, but I think it's around episode 19.

@@drainbamage8656 Not bored mate, just wanted to test myself by having to play the game differently to how I would normally play it due to the limitations that I have set. With decent weapons, I can roll very comfortably through this entire game
@borislav247 Just need some advice my email address for my ps5 is different to my you tube email address I want to change the you tube email address to match my ps5 so I can do longer videos but don't know if it can be done or even how to do it any advice or any advice from your subscribers would be great thanks I don't want to be changing my ps5 email incase I lose any game play etc
