I did not like going out at night to the missions.I prefer to do the stealth but most of the time I get caught. Your methods are so easy to follow. Climbing up the pylons takes a bit of practice and riding the bike up the rocks. Thanks again Boris.
Thank you for the kind words mate. I will admit, the pylons can be tricky, but I always show them as an alternative option ( the rock methods are always easier & more fun).

I don't ever say that to any UA-cam ever. Really thank you for the effort.
Delighted that the video has been of such great help Adrian. I know some people can really struggle with the hordes for the fear factor alone (no two ways about it, they are scary, especially at night), and this video is for all those people. Taking care of the hordes gets you some amazing weapons earlier than you would normally get them (and better condition ones too), as well as some well being of creating a safer region to explore in. Really appreciate the amazingly kind comments mate.
May I ask you about the sawmill horde. If I somehow build up the courage to take put the sawmill horde before the story , will the horde respawn or does the cutscene play differently? I ve gotten mixed answers from Google. Asking you cause it seems you are as reliable a source as any.
@@Adriandz271 Apologies I never got to answer this one quick enough Adrian, but yes, If you complete the horde early, when you finally get the mission involving this horde, once you reach the sawmill, it basically skips to the cutscene you would see after defeating the horde.

Only thing I would disagree on here is your order of nero injectors. For me, always focus before stamina. If you have more time to take them out with headshots, the less time you need to run. Other than that, wise words MJ.

It's one to practice moving Deke in the right direction or you'll fall to the floor which isn't great if the horde is on your tail. They can get stuck outside the window below the loft area, but easily taken out with firepower if you exit the barn away from them and come around either on foot or on the bike - depending on where you left it.

Beaver Marsh Rest Stop; you can also hop over the crash barrier for a relatively safe spot. I usually get over it where the army tent is alongside it... they can't get you unless you allow them to bunch up WWZ style. Any that do come over are easily shot.

@@borislav247 I clearly recall those 2 bonus hordes. As for the cave horde , you wouldn't have been proud of me. First chance i got , I ran for my life towards the exit. At least I wasn't screaming lol. The other horde , I ended up on the guard tower like you did where the freakers can't reach. @@foxmulder2941 They do sometimes tinker with the mechanics for the challenges FM, but yeah, the cave with the 300 horde, the first time I played that mission, I run like Usain Bolt, lol.
I got clued in to that easy kill location from a gent called Chris White. I gave him credit on the standalone video I did using this tree (Death from Above). Thank you for watching, but someone else actually discovered that tree method. I just made full use of it for a couple of videos my friend.
I literally just came up to the first one and took me about ten times to get up the tree in position ! However, it's 8 am in the game so I'm waiting it out! 😂
It just takes a bit of practice to get up the tree, but the waiting out option is also a good one my friend. Just make sure you don't go too far up the tree Kahn, or the horde simply won't see you, which becomes a problem.
Good to know. I haven't went back to that horde yet, I did go on down to the Lobert Draw Ridge horde like I told you about.. whipped them out using your method.. and at this time today, after many hours over night, I have reached trust level 2! I bought the Chicago chopper! And everything else for sale..lol Now, it's horde hunting for real! Enjoy your day my friend, I will be.

I believe the rest of the Highway 97 hordes were unlocked after completing the "Just Doing My Job" mission... I remember seeing "Horde Killer Unlocked"
There are some of the hordes in the South that unlock before the end of the game (4 hordes I think), but, you can't take them on, as you are locked in the North when these hordes become unlocked. The Just Doing my Job mission is still very important though, as it unlocks the Beaver Marsh Rest Stop Horde after you have completed the game.
for the first mission horde there's a car with an alarm a good bit across from the shack, I put one tank next to it and the first remote bomb on it then proceeded with your set up, got on the shack and shot the car to set off the alarm and draw the horde out then blew that to take out the first batch and continued from there.
I love using the car alarms to lure freaks too! This latest playthrough I used the car alarm outside the visitor center (? Where you go get one of the ingredients & find a few breakers). Used a rock to safely set off the alarm without giving away my position or using up any resources & when the 3 breakers got there I used a residue bolt & watched the fun play out 😁🎉
I'm currently on my 3rd playthrough. Survival mode. I decided I'm not going to play it safe this time. No silencers, No melee weapon , very minimal throwable items. No running away from a horde. If I accidentally run into 1 on my way to a mission ,I'm jumping off my bike and taking them head on guns blazing . So far so good I just made it to Diamond Lake. Ready for the bigger hordes
Loving this style of playthrough my friend, and of course, with being your third playthrough, you know what's coming at you, now you're in the South. I wish you the best of luck mate.
TBH I have my own way of taking down the hordes but still good to see all the different ways of doing it, some are the same way as I have learned and some new ideas,👏👏👍
Appreciate you watching the video Nigel. And variety is the spice of life, as there are a crazy amount of ways to take out these hordes. It's what keeps me coming back to this amazing game.
@@borislav247 & @drunkpepsican5849 I've tried to play TLOU several times but it starts off so slow my AuDHD (Autistic & ADHD) brain just can't stick with it long enough for the action to start. Approximately how long does it take before things get good? If you don't mind my asking, of course. Everyone seems to love it so I wanna keep trying, hoping having more info will help
I had finished all the hordes (without resetting them) and was driving around the Spruce Lake NERO checkpoint 1:39:14 looking for my last ipca tech piece, and I was caught off guard when this horde came swarming out of the tunnel! Just like old times! So there any other “respawning” hordes we should know about lol?
I think this still works. If you leave a few freakers alive, then sleep for 5 times, one right after the other, that allows the horde to "re-grow." It also has the side benefit of resetting crafting items. It doesn't reset scrap or trunk items on cars, though.
I tried to take on the Juniper horde via their day time cave & took out the Rum Gulch horde instead somehow 🤷♂️ Rum Gulch horde didn't even appear on my map, very strange...but also convenient bc it was just like the Juniper horde's cave 🤷♂️😊
Great question mate, because a lot of people aren't aware of this. Basically, when you complete the main Days Gone game, any hordes that you still have to take out, will appear on the map like this. And once you have taken out all the hordes, you can access a menu option that allows you to reset all the hordes, and that's pretty much what I've done mate.
How do you know how many there are in each horde? And how do you find these crazy spots? It should take thousands of tries to find which specific rock to stand on with a bike blocking their way, or how would you even know the bike would work? They knock my bike down all the time. I would never think to try any of these things, expecting to get got.
Finding rocks that are climbable with the bike does take a bit of time (you come off the bike a LOT), but I can narrow down the search by checking out rocks close to horde locations. Now the horde numbers are available through internet searches, however, that's not how I got them (as some of the numbers I remember reading were wrong). I have a series of horde region videos, where I take out every horde in a particular region, and I checked the numbers on each horde multiple times by the amount of freaker ears I had collected. That way I was able to confirm myself what internet info was accurate & what ones weren't.
I cant find any hordes on Sagebrush, Friendship Point, junioer ridge and on Run rye. Checked in both day and night but nothing. What could be done here?
All of the hordes you have mentioned there are endgame hordes. None of these appear until you have completed the main Days Gone game and seen the end credits, after that, all these hordes will be in play.
I know this game very well Stephanie, and I still play this game a lot. I hope these areas help you. They definitely make a lot of the hordes easier to take on, and you will get fantastic weapons as rewards for taking out the hordes.
Unfortunately not mate. In Highway 97, of the 13 hordes it contains, only 4 are unlocked. Now, of the 3 crater lake hordes, 2 of them are unlocked, but the McLeod Ridge horde do not appear until you have taken out the very first mission horde (the Chemult mission horde). The other 9 hordes in Highway 97 are simply not available to take on until you have completed the Days Gone game (seen the end credits). Although some of the 9 hordes do unlock slightly before you complete the game, you simply cannot take them on as you are locked out of the South at this point in the game. Sounds confusing I know, but I hope this has helped mate.
@borislav247 thank you very much for that. I just was misinterpreting it when you spoke about it in the video. I can only assume after I complete the game, I'll have hordes located on my map and the bars in the upper center of the screen indicating how much of the horde is left. Days Gone for me is such a fun and enjoyable game for a great many of reasons. First time I've had some adrenaline dumps in a game.
Imagine a nightmare mode. Survival 2 settings but all hordes spawn at the start of the game and boss enemy spawns increase. Oh and it’s always night time.. why not.
The Easy method on the Mount Bailey horde would not work for me I got to the tree in the afternoon and waited and waited bu they just never turned up!!
Your problem is that you go there in the afternoon. The horde never comes near this spot till late at night. Easiest way to see the horde at this location, is to first go to the Diamond lake camp (nearest area with a sleep location), have a sleep to get it to night time. Then head out to the tree location. If they are not already at the feeding ground, you just have to wait a few minutes before they do. Hope this helps mate.
@Borislav 247 I thought that was the problem as I waited all night ! I didn't want to try and climb with them chasing me 🤣 I took them out by stealth in the end ! Love the videos mate 👍I haven't been playing this game long....but since watching your channel I've gone from being really intimidated by the hordes to wiping them out by stealth 👍
This horde doesn't actually have an official name, but, if you complete this mission (you don't have to kill this horde to do it either) and then complete the main Days Gone game (where you see the end game credits), then you will unlock the Beaver Marsh Rest Stop Horde. The BMRSH is considerably smaller than the one you get on this mission. Hope all that helps mate.
Well, I don't know if this is correct, but I do remember reading somewhere that when you are in the caves following the footprints, if you don't find all the clues and activate them all, then the horde at the end doesn't appear. I've never had this horde not spawn, so I can't confirm if there's any validity to what I read TAB.

At least I wasn't screaming lol. The other horde , I ended up on the guard tower like you did where the freakers can't reach. However, I noticed that the freakers got climbing skills all of of sudden when I tried to use the same tactic in the challenges. Sneaky buggers !
@@foxmulder2941 They do sometimes tinker with the mechanics for the challenges FM, but yeah, the cave with the 300 horde, the first time I played that mission, I run like Usain Bolt, lol.
the fallen tree trunk method is genius. i ran out of ammo so i had to jump off and run to my bike before killing off the remaining horde. 💪
I got clued in to that easy kill location from a gent called Chris White. I gave him credit on the standalone video I did using this tree (Death from Above). Thank you for watching, but someone else actually discovered that tree method. I just made full use of it for a couple of videos my friend.
You have done a beautiful job..Thanks from India
Delighted you enjoyed the video DB. Appreciate you watching.
@@kahnnooniensingh1586 You realise you have gone from enthusiastic killer to straight up Original Gangster now Kahn. You have one of the OP weapons in this game, and those freakers better be worried, lol.
@@borislav247 these words mean alot coming from you! It was your voice and guidance that brought me out of the bushes and dumpsters ( don't do shrooms as a noob ! Lol) and crafted me into a freakers killing machine! The only game I play, my second passion.. Days Gone! Thank you
@@kahnnooniensingh1586 You are too kind sir.
It's all about getting the job done James, and that sounds like a pretty good way of going about it.
I love using the car alarms to lure freaks too! This latest playthrough I used the car alarm outside the visitor center (? Where you go get one of the ingredients & find a few breakers). Used a rock to safely set off the alarm without giving away my position or using up any resources & when the 3 breakers got there I used a residue bolt & watched the fun play out 😁🎉
You are an absolute legend
You are far too kind, thank you mate.
Thanks!! this helped alot!!
Thank you for watching mate.
RDR2, days gone, tlou, and halo are prolly my top games
Got to admit, I'm not that keen on RDR2, but the other games are awesome.
I hope u don't mind but as this is a reload, I skipped to near the end to see the last 2 hordes. Great again. Thanks
It's all good Allan. I know you have watched the whole video, and appreciate you taking the time to check out the last 2. Most appreciated.
Well, you have found the first, and there is another respawnable horde that lives right below an Ambush Camp in Belknap.
I think this still works. If you leave a few freakers alive, then sleep for 5 times, one right after the other, that allows the horde to "re-grow."
It also has the side benefit of resetting crafting items.
Lol, some strange stuff goes on in Days Gone L8D.
great video! but i have a question, how do you have hordes marked on map like that ?
Great question mate, because a lot of people aren't aware of this. Basically, when you complete the main Days Gone game, any hordes that you still have to take out, will appear on the map like this. And once you have taken out all the hordes, you can access a menu option that allows you to reset all the hordes, and that's pretty much what I've done mate.
@@borislav247 ohhh okey, thank you for respond
@@Kacpertost No problem mate.
Man , your good with that tommy gun 😂
I do love the Chicago Chopper my friend.
Does the The Respawnable horde still work after clearing the ambush camp?
It most certainly does mate. I'm just not sure if it's 1 or two days after you kill them, before they respawn, but they do respawn.
Cheers for showing the respawnable horde, had no idea it existed.
*The Mt. Bailey horde..
@@borislav247 thanks man
How did you find all These good spots😊
I know this game very well Stephanie, and I still play this game a lot. I hope these areas help you. They definitely make a lot of the hordes easier to take on, and you will get fantastic weapons as rewards for taking out the hordes.
do you use mouse/keyboard?
Nope. I use a controller every time, even when playing Days Gone on the PC.
So I after I beat the chemult community college horde the remaining hordes the the crater lake and highway 97 become available?
@@c22880 Absolutely. Once you have completed the game, any remaining hordes you still haven't killed, will be highlighted on the map.
Imagine a nightmare mode. Survival 2 settings but all hordes spawn at the start of the game and boss enemy spawns increase. Oh and it’s always night time.. why not.
That all sounds bloody damn good to me mate😀.
Well the mecleard one didn’t work haha I had to go to a different location and wing it, did what you usually do, get on rocks and it worked haha
Lol, the rock methods certainly make these hordes a tad easier. Good to hear you got the job done Mickey.
you sir are a legend!! thank you for showing all the spots... coming in clutch for that platinum trophy💪 much love bro🫶
Delighted the video helped my friend. Thank you for watching.
1:37:00 What is the name of the horde
This horde doesn't actually have an official name, but, if you complete this mission (you don't have to kill this horde to do it either) and then complete the main Days Gone game (where you see the end game credits), then you will unlock the Beaver Marsh Rest Stop Horde. The BMRSH is considerably smaller than the one you get on this mission. Hope all that helps mate.
@@borislav247 Helped me 100%
Also i got an idea for the borislav 24/7 channel
If only you could do the groose gardens and chemult station horde at once, be a bit more fun

The ice wind lava horde wont spawn for me anyone know why?
Well, I don't know if this is correct, but I do remember reading somewhere that when you are in the caves following the footprints, if you don't find all the clues and activate them all, then the horde at the end doesn't appear. I've never had this horde not spawn, so I can't confirm if there's any validity to what I read TAB.
