I like of this car: very confortable, efficient car (mid/big size diesel car for only 1350KG, low L/100km, 6 speed, and a very good aerodinamic cx=0.29 and even better scx=0.66, good for this price level car with 205/R16 tyres), very silent interior and a old but reliable mechanic (110hp), good brakes (300mm for this weight is over the average and abs and traction control are excellent). variable assistence wheel drive and gearbox very smooth
I don´t like: some electric problems, but this was easy and economic to repair by myself. (290k KM and going on)
on 350k km it will be dead (like mine, 1.9dci 120km)

Good video. Brings back memories of my love hate relationships with this model. Loved it one minute, detested it the next, the amount of money I spent on it, but still had some great times with it.

For my opinion Renault is a good brand.I don't like Renault cars before 2003 after 2003 Renault made better cars and models ,also I love this Renault Laguna of 2007 and also the third generation of it (2009). French cars are good but I'm scared about they have many electronic things(for example keycard and button to start, electronic park brake, and etc).If someone know about if French cars are good can answer to me, because my dad has Citroen C4 Sedan of 2008 and had once told him that the engine had a problem while he didn't.But generally is good car!

This cas used to have a bad reliability, thankfully Renault fixed it a year after it was released (2002).

Who can give a honest and reliable feedback about this car?I'm interested in one 1.9 Dci(2005)
1.9 dci 120cv wasnt reliable. That engine eats the turbos.
In fact, the only reliable diesel engine of Renault in that era was the 2.0 dci.
Avoid 1.9, 2.2, and Isuzu 3.0 V6 dci.
All of them are shit.

+Robrandor Born4U It"s a keycard, it was a new feature in Renaults in the early 2000's...It was an option in the more expensive model's like Megane, Scenic, Espace, Laguna.
@@cmdarb141 The Megane, Scenic, Laguna and Espace only has the keycard, only the keyless entry system is optional or included depending on the trim level.
