I translate the 7 Golden Rules , hope this can help more players : ) 1.
Well done very nice video. I found tip 3 very useful! I never thought to shift the 3 by 2 box into a 2 by 2 box. I also liked the precise info on the wind turbine size I did not know the size of them. I always just used to to make a full 3 unit tall box
Over the year I suspect that this guide really helped many new players and made games more fun thanks! Unless they don't like informing themselves cus that aint easy enough :r
Hey man, I hope they help. I'm working on an entire series. Stay tuned for more!! We'll be getting advanced with core swings and other top tier stuff soon!!
About the only thing I really got from this that I didn't already know is placing more than two to three turbines to start with. Everything else I already gleaned from watching gameplay or playing myself. Very good guide for newbies, though! :D
I had to check this out after my son asked me to play this with him and he destroyed me. I have been fuming so annoyed with this game. Maybe I can finally survive now lol. Thanks!
First thing, good video for beginners. It´s better to do it like this, than many other ways i´ve seen. BUT, this is by for not the best way to build a base. I know that 4-longs and stability Tech is to much for most beginners, but just so that its mentioned ones at least in the comments, the longer a bracing is, the more Weigt it can support. Reason is, struts break if they are deformed by more than 10% their original length, but the deformation is depended on the weight that the strut supports, which is a fixed value per unit weight. Therefore, a longer pice of Bracing can handle more weight. That´s the reason why most big forts have mainly long Braces for support. And while yes, using a 3x3 box for a Battery or Tech is a waste of space, but you hardly have matches where you need more than 3-4 Batterys, 2 Metal storage and maby 3 Techs (T1, T2, Upgrade). So if you don´t know how to Build your base in a better way, yes do it like Synergy said, but remember, there are better way and if you want to become a good player, you maby coud ask someone to teach you or lern more in other way. I´m still gonna recomend your videos anyway cuz like i´ve said, better than many play in this game.
really good tips that you should have mentioned 1: metal armour can easily be replaced by 8 layers of wood 2: sandbags are a cheap way to stop fire beams 3: for the love of god make the back of your base heave so you don't kill 3 of your teammates 4: eagle eye is trash, most commanders can do it better.
I heard that big braces/metals are better for stress? Also I don't feel its a big deal when on resource cap to build ground nodes tbh, but then again I've only ever won a couple of times against hard AI after unintentionally building my bases in a way where I can place weapons in ideal places since my base building isn't advanced.
Question: How am i supposed to follow rules 1 and 2 while also having enough room for weapons? You're really not explaining why it's a bad idea. I also need to expand further so i don't immediately die due to collapsing, be it from enemy fire or having an entite fort on a 2 wide base.
The whole time I was watching this I was like, that's me, omg, that's me! Fuck, Lol, I'm an idiot! I've only been playing for a few days but damn! Thank you for the video!!!!!
@@SynergyGamingTV Oh yes! how do you change your material without having a material selected? and how do you instantly remove a structure without waiting for the selling timer to go down? how can you make it a 2 by 2 automatically?

@@SynergyGamingTV ye, figured that out by now. still looking for a hotkey where i can fire and go to the next available weapon, but only of the same weapontype. for example, keep shooting the snipers but leave the anti air guns unused as a defense.
Hi synergy, Just starten planning forts, but it seems i can not make 1.5 2.5 and so on bracings. I can only make bracings in the corners of the roster. Been looking on the google, but have not found a anser
@@SynergyGamingTV I asked because while yes, Shields do consume power, i can't tell if it will help out in the long run in a game as the AI and potentially other players will eventually target your Turbines like it's absolutely critical to cut off your power supply. Since they can tank one cannon shot before expiring and nullify low/mid grade weapon shots while active, is it truly worth it to do so in a long game?
yeah it is worth getting because its the best defense you can get for your turbines that defends from any shot while still letting air pass through even if it can be destroyed by 1 cannon shot@@PurpleHeartE54

Most important thing when starting a new game is looking at your key bindings to see what the game can do. Hit the 'G' key to turn of grid snapping.
