A 74 year old North or South American?
The original version of this song holds a *lot* of memories and emotions for me, so I tend to be very critical of any attempt to cover it. But this version is remarkable. Powerful. Totally evokative of the original and yet also very unique. When the bowed instrument came in (I'm sorry, I don't know what it's called) it soared in the same way that Art Garfunkle's voice soars, and I stopped breathing so I could hear it better. Just beautiful.
This video came out today, the day I sayed goodbye to my Father who's now in Heaven! Thank you both young ladies!
