  • Shadow boxing is a must for improving your technique and developing better footwork, punching, head movement..etc. Adding weights to it makes it that much better and challenging.

    Other vids they mention you can’t build strength by doing this but I’m sure u can build strength in your forearms right??

    Very smooth and beautiful shadow boxing session, but not a single hook was thrown, am I wrong?

      Correct. I don't like new boxers using hooks with weights while shadow boxing before they master the technique. It could strain the shoulders and cause injury because most new boxers will be hitting too hard at risk of injury. But as you progress in your skills and can through lighter punches with great precision and control, you can start adding the hooks.
