GORGEOUS! Thank you! Are there any findings that can protect the wire from the sharp inner edges of the hole in the bead? I know that's a part of the reason that you go through the bead so often [for the hinge] but i was just wondering if maybe one could use a SMALL hollow tube piece somehow - like making a sort of eyelet somehow? Or would this make the hole too small?

This is a clever thought. I have used hollow tubing in beads with large holes to make the hole smaller so it would work if your bead has a large hole. Another thing you can do is use a tool called a bead reamer (it's like a very thin round file used to make holes in beads bigger) and use it just at the opening of the hole to gently round off the edges.
