It makes me so happy to read encouragement for others in your video descriptions. The only thing that you seem to want to "own" is the teaching (for which there is absolutely no competition, anyway...you are the best!). I've just started buying supplies but thanks to you and some other awesome teachers, I feel like I can do this! Thank you so much!

Great video. I'm so glad you went slow and showed every wire and how to weave and shape it. So many times the instructor's hands get in the way and I get lost. I have several pieces or slices of agate that I need to cover the edges, however they are very irregularly shaped. They are flat but have no distinct shape. Could you suggest a braid or a way to cover the egdes if this method won't work. Thank you for sharing your expertise!

To Darby Stevens. I can't seem to reply straight to you, so I hope you get this. For this I would probably use a softer wire as you're braiding several together and it'll make it easier to work with but still get the strength from multiple wires braided together :-)

I have seen 5 strand cabochon wrap before. Yours is lovely but I have made a bout 5 of these cabochons prior to finding your tutorials. I love seeing new things but maybe instead of saying don’t reproduce your video maybe change it to if you try a UA-cam video please put in the UA-cam film that they got the inspiration from your videos. Just an idea to been the plat around the cabochons using tools I hold it like you do and roll it around on my steel anvil and hit it softly with my rubber hammer, this way is quick less likely to leave tool marks on the wire. Nice work.

That was great, I picked up some wire I had left over from another project, just to see if I could follow what you were doing and ended up wrapping a stone I had kicking around. You make everything so easy to do. ((Hugs))
