Hiya, Liz! I’ve been making these bracelets for years thanks to you! I just made a sterling silver one for my son and he loves it! Hoping this finds you well and hope that you’re still DANCING! Xoxo
I know me too ! Her teaching was the most eye opener for me 8 years ago, and changed me completely ! I've become very learned about wire because of her ..taught it too and all because of her.i wish she would've kept teaching because she has a soft voice unique to keeping your attention.! I'll always be thankful to her , because my work is perfect to hers! Love u Liz , hope you are doing well !u always will be the best ! Thank you
I just started playing around with wire wrapping today... I'm serious, I picked this up for the first time today. Even a clumsy newbie like me could successfully make this bracelet for my little girl. She loves it, and I love this video! Thanks for making it so easy to follow. I'll be watching more of your videos for sure!
Can't tell you how many compliments I've had making your chain for others. I have a picture of a bracelet I made for my nephew's HS Graduation. I would send it to you if I knew how. Thanks again for an excellent tutorial.
I always wondered how to keep my chain from looking so scraggly, but I was hooking the two and loops together with a jump ring! When I saw how you only had one ring between the two links I wondered why I had not figured that out before? Now it all makes perfect sense! Thank you for showing me how to fix that problem! I know that my chains will look much better in the future.🥰
I found some coiled copper wire from scrapping an A/C unit and thought I'd save it and make a bracelet for the first time. So I looked it up on YT and came across your video. It came out very nice I'm impressed and so are my friends thanks to you👍🏼 great teacher btw.👏🏼
I made a bracelet from this tutorial about a year ago and it's my absolute favorite bracelet that I have. Wear it almost daily and it only gets prettier. Don't need to take it off for sleep or shower it is just on there so comfortable. So big big thank you for this tutorial
As a "real" jeweler, I find that there is a time and place for all techniques, something like this works very well in this case. It is perfectly find to mix and match techniques when creating, I do it all the time. Not everything needs to be soldered.

I just made this with 16g copper wire my step-daughter got me for Christmas. It turned out so beautiful, I now want to make a matching bracelet to go with it! Great video and so easy to follow...thank you so much!
I made this last night as a Christmas gift for my nephew and it turned out great!!! I used 16g antique copper and silver. Alternating colors. Your tutorial was very easy to follow. Thank you so much!!
@@marybotkin7297 I'm not sure how to show it to you. I actually made two: one for my nephew and one for my son. My son just told me last night he get compliments on it all the time. And he happily tell them his mom made it ❤ He wears it all the time. I noticed that the silver is coming off so you can see the copper underneath. I guess we can call that a 'patina'!
Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial, I knew how to make this link BUT, it is so nice to have a perfectionist go over it so that you end up with a bracelet just like yours…PERFECT!!!. Again, thank you 🙏🏼❤️
+Mama Hare That's awesome Mama Hare! Yes, for a man's bracelet I like the 14g too. It's a bit stiffer and hard for beginners. Good job and thank you so much for watching.
I love this! I’ve made about 4 of these now and I have a tip for anyone with cheap flush cutters that don’t leave a smooth end. File your ends smooth by hand, it saves so much time when your trying to tuck your ends in and avoid sharp edges.

I made this as a bracelet for myself about 2 years ago and haven't taken it off since. I've recently lost some weight and it's getting lose on me and a couple of the wraps have started to come open. I was thinking last week that I should make another one but couldn't find the video. I have also recently started sewing and found your magic pillowcase video tonight. I think it was fate and I need to make myself a new bracelet. Thanks for your videos! :)
I'm fairly new to this craft (3 months). I was searching for a men's bracelet to make as a gift for my cousin-in-law and this is PERFECT for my skill level! 👍 I was actually looking for something with Egyptian cross symbols (the ankh) or Egyptian style but had no luck finding anything masculine (or in my skill level) but if I can figure out how to make a symbol/hook, it will be TWICE PERFECT! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I can hardly wait to see how mine turns out! 🙂
Hi Liz, I'm a beginner with wire work, only been doing it for about a month but i found this video very easy to follow and managed to make this bracelet to a good standard. I watched your other videos and I have to say I love your style, all your jewellery is really up my street and the kind of boho vibe of thing i want to make so thank you so much for sharing!! Lisa UK
Thank you for this tutorial. I will be making about 300 chains to raise funds for charity. Thanks to you I can do this really interesting style among others.
I love this. It wasn't that long ago my mother ask me about making something like this and I told her I was not even close to ready to do something like that, but I think I am now and this is what I'm going to try. Thank you
Thank you for such a wonderful video. I just completed my first wire wrapped bracelet. I am so in love with how elegant it looks and how easy it was to make. And it is so versital. I can leave it as is or add charms into the loops. With the different colors in wire and sizes the possibllities are endless. I cant wait to make more
I just made it too, I love it!! Going to give it to a special man and I know he's going to just adore it!! PS after I dipped it into the liver of sulphur, I put it into my rotary tumbler with steel shot for about 2 hours. OMG. The shine, the color, just stunning :-)
When u 1st put this out , I made one for my hubby Donald and a smaller one for me..still love this too by the way !Liz I always look for more of your designs, now. Your work is amazing and I learned a lot from you !
I finally gave this a go. Thought it would be good with Father's day right around the corner. I made two with 16 gauge and 1 with 14 gauge. I like both but I think the 14 gauge seems more manly. lol I love you tutorials. I have done the pearl knotting, the bangle, the necklace using the coiling gizmo, the bangle and the wave bracelet. I'm still have trouble perfecting rings but I'm not giving up. thanks for your videos.
I made that double wrapped bracelet tonight! Holy cow, these are awesome. I love the design and it truly is unisex. I am trying it now with 16 ga. silver color wire. Hopefully I can add patina with the liver of sulfur too. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and designs.
My sons are 19 & 20 and it's so hard to get gifts for them and I make jewelry so your video just gave me the perfect idea for Christmas gifts for both of them! Thanks so much for the tutorial. I think I'll make one for my husband too!!
When I watch videos like this I sometimes think about the very first person who created the links. Same with any other wire links. Someone was just sitting around with nothing better to do, saw some thin wire and started bending and wrapping it.
@@makingiteasywithliz I am wondering can you find spools of wire at hardware stores ? If so are they more affordable than the beading sites that we all shop at online ?
Your tutorials are all so great! Love this simple but lovely bracelet. Going to make this this weekend!! I really love all your tutorials, you explain everything so well and I love how you have beginner understanding videos of techniques and up. Thank you so much!!
Your tutorials are fantastic Liz. I have learned so much from you. You have inspired me and gave me confidence to do more wire wrapping. Thank you so much.
thank you so much for this beautiful video...especially your voice and music very soothing while wire woring..my niece just had a baby...and she is dainty..so I thought I would try a 20 gauge...it looks wonderful...thank you once again..love and light
I LOVE this!! I made a bracelet for a man, one for a woman, I also made a very light (22g) necklace to use as a chain for a pendant I created!! I utilize most of my small scrap pieces in order to make these.
This has become my "go to" necklace for most of my wire woven pendants! I use the 22g for them. 50 links is perfect for a pendant chain. I also LOVE the idea of the "assembly line" for creating these! Thank you so much!
I must've been living under a rock! I've been wire wrapping for 3 years and never saw or heard of a pair of flatnose pliers! gotta get some! love this project, can't wait to try!
Hi, jeweltone1546, Flat nose jewelry pliers have been around for many, many years, at least 60+ . When I took crafts classes my junior & senior years, 1956-'58, of high school, I used flat nose jewelry pliers that the classroom had for the students. After graduating, I continued to a two year college where I continued to learn more jewelry techniques over those 2 years, and having the oppertunity to purchase flat nose, half round & round, which I did. Over many years they were used to create different chains than shown in this video, bezels for stones, and many other types of jewelry. I still have those and use them periodically. Hope this answers your comment about not knowing that flat nose pliers, existed.
I love the look of this bracelet! Thanks for such a great tutorial that explains/demonstrates the process. I am definitely going to be making one for myself. 😊
This is great! Now I can make something for my son. He's been a bit jealous of my daughter getting all the stuff I make. lol. Please, show us how to make more jewelry for your husband. ;)
Hi Maggie, thank you so much for watching. I have to admit that men's jewelry makes me nervous...will it be manly enough? LOL. I will be doing a leather bracelet that will work for both.
Liz...thank you so much for your detailed and so easy to follow tutorial...just finished making 2...one in 20g pink wire with a couple of dangles that looks elegant and the 2nd is a mix of 20g and 16g gold wire with crystals. 😃
hi, i watched this the other day and didnt have time to comment, but i thought this was absolutly one of the best videos. i am a beginner and you explained everything really well. thankyou for taking the time for doing that. i orderd some of your wire to try this. i cant wait to get started. again thankyou for taking the time to really explaining everything.
Thank you so much for watching and your great feedback. Your order is in the mail and coming from Nova Scotia so it may take up to 10 days to arrive. I appreciate your business and support.
Hi Liz love your video on the bracelet love how you take the time to show all the steps others always show one or two steps and then say we'll be back when you're done to show you how to make the clasp Thanks
I watched this video about 3 times and decided to try it and it turned out well. Not as good as yours. I tried doing the wrap with my fingers and it did ok. I decided on my 2nd bracelet to try wrapping with a 2nd set of pliers and it turned out soooo much better. Thank you so much for teaching me a wonderful new bracelet. Love your videos Liz!
Thank you. I really enjoyed your video. All I had was 20 guage so I cut it a little longer and wrapped it three times and it looks great. My wrapping needs some practice but it still came out better than I expected. ✌🏽️
Great design for a unisex bracelet! It's beautiful with either large or small gauge wire. Love it! Plan to make many of them because they are so versatile. They look intricate but they're so easy to make. Thanks Liz!
I've made several figure 8 wire necklaces but haven't seen this method before. I like it. Looks like making these links will take longer than the figure 8. I like the fact that these can be made 'chunky'.
I found this fun to make. I wanted to make 16 gage wire coils, but I found them too hard to finish coiling the top layer even though it's dead soft. I made an 18 gage one instead. Very pretty, but I wanted a chunkier one. I suppose I better invest in the equipment to anneal the wire so I can make more. Thanks for the fantastic chain tutorial.
Hello Liz. Thank you for the brilliant video tutorial packed with so much detail and assistance; and for sharing your lovely idea with us. I must be rather useless. I'm trying to make these links but they don't come out as lovely and neat as yours 😢 I'm going to carry on trying a few more and I hope I can get it right. I think this bracelet is just gorgeous ❤
+Martha D (JustMartha Hi Martha, thank you so much for watching my channel. I love making jewelry on cold days in front of the fire...it's a good excuse to watch TV too. Hope you enjoyed your day. I would love it if you posted your creation on my Facebook page facebook.com/makingiteasywithliz
I'm not on facebook, but I did make the bracelet and am making others in colors, purple is first, then red, turquoise, and blue. I will wear them as stacker bracelets and maybe make some for my daughter and daughter-in-law. It was easy, although I needed just a little more wire because I'm not as experienced, but I have plenty and it was very low cost. Thanks again!
Several years ago (wanna say 2018?), I started dabbling with wire and UA-cam basically taught me how to make earrings.. at one point early on in my dabbling, I saw this video and immediately wanted to make a bracelet for my husband…. But my first attempt about killed my hands (used 18g I believe), and it was so scratched up I got super discouraged and gave up. I believe I managed to just make one link lol. Fast forward a few years… and a very off and on use of my jewelry making supplies, I still mostly make earrings, some basic, some more involved, and have improved a number of my pliers etc.. then this year, my coworkers took notice of my earrings (previously, I’d only make them for me and for gifts, so many months apart I practically had to re-learn how to do things over and over lol ), and asked if they could buy some.. I’ve now made over $1,000 in the last 6 months (selling literally to just my coworkers lol), and started wrapping cabochon pendants and weaving a bit.. Was trying to figure out something for my hubby’s bday this year and remembered this video…. And this time it was a success!! I used 16g copper, and yes, my hands are a bit sore (have some chronic issues there after an injury several years back). Each link had less tool marks but they don’t concern me at all since I know how to get rid of those with my Dremel etc.. soo long story short.. THANk YOU!!! During my journey with this I’ve watched a ton of your videos and am ever so grateful for people like you willing to make these vids and teach soo well!!
Wow you sure don't have to worry about your links coming apart, or someone saying it fell apart , there's no way them links will come apart lol awesome, Thank You for sharing!
Another well made DIY. your so easy to follow Liz ! this such a beautiful bracelet , l've got make both of my Boys one l think, in the 16 g copper. They'll make a great gift :) warm hugs and sharing ♡
Thanks Madam for this video and really I had a passion in wires. This will be added to my interest in making something about wires. God bless..just subscribed today
Great design. I'm comfortable with and prefer making wrapped loops and really like how you did the double wrap. I feel a lot more secure wearing something with wrapped loops as opposed to a simple loop. Just wonder about how far in on the round nose pliers tips did you mark them to get the loop size you like? I know it's personal preference, but knowing where you marked your pliers will give me a frame of reference to start with. TFS!
Great tutorial! I'm a first timer and had no major problem making these bracelets. I've made a couple and was wondering do you spray the bracelets with some sort of clear lacquer after antiquing it? Thanks again!
Hi Bob Thank you so much for watching. You could spray the bracelet with a light coating of lacquer. Be very careful not to put on too much as it will pool in the nooks and affect the movement. Spray it on a dry day...I learned the hard way. Any moisture in the air makes it cloudy and screws it up.

Love this chain. I made one out of 20 gauge square copper wire from Rio Grande. Love it out of the square wire.
Square wire sound stunning!
Genius! I will try too
Thank you. I really enjoyed your video. All I had was 20 guage so I cut it a little longer and wrapped it three times and it looks great. My wrapping needs some practice but it still came out better than I expected. ✌🏽️
That gauge makes a sweet delicate chain.
It is a great gift for anyone.
Great design for a unisex bracelet! It's beautiful with either large or small gauge wire. Love it! Plan to make many of them because they are so versatile. They look intricate but they're so easy to make. Thanks Liz!
Thank you Wayne for watching and for your kind feedback.
I've made several figure 8 wire necklaces but haven't seen this method before. I like it. Looks like making these links will take longer than the figure 8.
I like the fact that these can be made 'chunky'.
...and they don't have to be perfect. Thanks for watchng.
This is an excellent tutorial! I'll make a bracelet for my son tonight!
Wendy W if you have the tools look into annealing your material. Although this will add to clean up time.
Hello Liz. Thank you for the brilliant video tutorial packed with so much detail and assistance; and for sharing your lovely idea with us.
I must be rather useless. I'm trying to make these links but they don't come out as lovely and neat as yours 😢
I'm going to carry on trying a few more and I hope I can get it right.
I think this bracelet is just gorgeous ❤
Am working on one now in 14 gauge and it's turning out beautifully...
Right on Wayne!
I've done a 14 gauge necklace. It turned out incredible!
Love this the variations are endless, with wire and color. Thanks for sharing.
You are so right...some beaded links? Thank you for your kind comment.

Martha D Right on!

Beautiful bracelet and I love your clear instructions and attention to detail! Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your jewelry journey and for watching and appreciating my channel.
Absolutely love this chain/bracelet/anklet/necklace. Love the clasp also. Going to try it soon.

Thanks Madam for this video and really I had a passion in wires. This will be added to my interest in making something about wires. God bless..just subscribed today
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing, Brando. Cheers
@@makingiteasywithliz welcome Madam..
TFS!
Thank you 😊
Like it every time I see it ❤️
Your videos are so darn good!
I'm so darn thankful you like them 😉
Great tutorial!
I'm a first timer and had no major problem making these bracelets. I've made a couple and was wondering do you spray the bracelets with some sort of clear lacquer after antiquing it?
Thanks again!
Hi Bob
Thank you so much for watching. You could spray the bracelet with a light coating of lacquer. Be very careful not to put on too much as it will pool in the nooks and affect the movement. Spray it on a dry day...I learned the hard way. Any moisture in the air makes it cloudy and screws it up.
Thanks!
Very good video!you are a super great teacher!
Thank you ❤️
Great teaching great product!
this is so nice thank you for sharing
+cathi johnson Thank you Cathi. :o)
