John Quincy was Adams' first name, sort of like how Van Buren was Martin's last name
Franklin Pierce and Zachary Taylor have middle names Zachary Scott Taylor and Franklin Kendrick Pierce
1:41 And the reason it was Ulysses S. Grant and not Hiram S. Grant was because when Grant was very young, he switched his first and middle names, so he was Ulysses Hiram Grant after that.

No
Looks like van is part of his last name
Martin Van Buren‘s middle name is van
At first glance, that would appear to be true! In my research, though, I discovered that “van Buren” is the Dutch spelling of his last name. So his last name isn’t “Buren”, but “van Buren”. Thanks for sparking such a great discussion!
Yeah, his name in English would be "Martin from neighbors" in Dutch it's "Martin Van Buren".
Guess my name, there are two hints, starts with a and ends with a

WHAT ABOUT ALEXANDER HAMILTON
Theatre Nerd he was not president

He doesn't have a middle name and he is not a president- he was the secretary of the Treasury.

It is Hiram Ulysses Simpson Grant that is his real full name
Truth!
Not truth.
But his initials U.S. did lead to the nickname Sam, as a reference to Uncle Sam... which I didn't realise was also U.S.
No
Well, Because he got the Nickname Uncle Sam, maybe that's how the S was in his name. To make like the patriotic innisals, U. S. I heard a presidents song by Carver, when she said "U. S. Grant",and some people think Ulysses is his first name, It Wasn't True! so he was popular called, Ulysses S. Grant.
Truth or not truth, it's just that.
Martin Van Buren Van is his middle name
No his last name was Van Buren since it's a Dutch last name
No, it's a Dutch last name, called Van Buren. Van Is not his middle name.
