At 2:25 you call this a GPS... but it's a laser isn't it? I agree with you on the price point. I have the original Bushnell (V1?) and it's maybe 15 years old or more and still working perfectly. Thanks for the honest review.
My bushnell doesn’t blink red when it flag locks. Idk it may be a user error, but I’ve gotten very good at predicting the ‘play as’ range without slope on the shift. Plus you can use it for tournaments!
Definitely true. There are a lot of golfers out there that are bad at guessing. That's why my scramble team and I always like to guess before we hit it with the rangefinder. We've gotten to the point where we can guess pretty close. It's definitely important
Oh yes that makes sense. I can definitely understand Bushnell wanting to tailor to that crowd. Honestly having no slope isn't the end of the world for most golfers, however for no slope I would still like to see that price come down just a tad.
Great review very helpful 👍

Yeah it's a laser. My bad. Thanks so much for the watch and feedback!

Do you have a v5 model?
It’s the non slope version because it’s meant for tournament play
That's fine. Makes sense. Lower the price then.
Does it come with the battery
Yes
I think a golfer should know distance. Growing up, my range finder was me. Most golfers that use range finders kant hit the distance anyway. Lol.

the shift model has slope.
The reason there is no slope is so it’s USGA tournament legal

2:25 It’s not a GPS.
