    Put your car keys in the range finder case to remind you to get your finder from the cart

      And if you don't have a case, get one! I need to get a case now! Good idea!

      that is an excellent idea. I leave my rangefinder case in the cart cup holder just to remind me not to forget the finder. I also put my rangefinder in the case and back into my golf bag after ranging my second shot on the 18th hole just so I know i put it back into my bag.

      Terrible idea.... decreases the range finder selection in the lost and found bin. :)

      Seriously, I’ve had to retrieve my RF from the cart return folks at least twice!

    Nice vid...thanks. My wife might actually use the Cube since it matches her lipstick case. if she won't, that triangulation feature will be a hit. No more "Honey, how far am I away....not sure dear, I'd say about 160, let me go over and shoot it." Thanks for all your quality content. Good to get caught up waiting for the snow to melt.

    gotta admit, I'm loving the 1980's walkman vibe of the Cube.

    I've had my Cube for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. Caddymode is so useful.

  • @Akvav1tix

    A quick late comment. The Cube slope-function takes into account the elements also; humidity, elevation and temperature. I've used my Cube for ~15 rounds now and battery is showing full. Love it! I also use the caddie-mode to speed up the game. When my mates are taking their shots (and I am staying out of the way) I can measure the distance from my ball to the pin meanwhile. Hence, I know beforehand what club to choose.

    Hi Gabe, could you use the triangulation feature in the cube to measure the width of the fairway before you tee off? I’ve never had a rangefinder before so not too sure how they work

    caddytalk is a korean company. most korean golf courses come with a caddy that drives your cart and most players keep their rangefinder in the case clipped to their belt (as opposed to american players who drive their own cart and want to stick the rangefinder to the cart via magnet). voice caddie sl3 and the bushnell x3 are the flagships in korea.

    I would love to see how some of the more budget friendly rangefinders from Amazon compare. I purchased one for under 100 with slop and a built in magnetic and a really nice hard case and it seems to always be within a couple ft of my friends expense Bushnell.

    One of my playing partners just purchased the Bushnell Tour V6 Shift. I used it a couple of times on Saturday. It locks in on the pin quickly and reliably. I'm ditching my BlueTees range finder after over a year of frustration with it locking in on trees far behind the green. BlueTees was a very disappointing purchase.

    Any thoughts and real world experience with the Cube battery life? They claim “10,000 clicks”. Or 100 one hundred shot rounds. They also add “likely 30-50 rounds”. Thanks for the great channel and content!

    • @LetsPlayThru
      @LetsPlayThru  10 місяців тому

      I have only played 5 rounds so far, so can’t comment on long term…but short term it still says full battery. So I assume it could last a very long time without needing a charge.
