I have just purchased the BHP UK de-cat link pipe and ECU Flasher combination for my 21 Multistrada V4S. What a difference!!. As I live in the North East of Scotland I went into this project with a little trepidation but honestly I needn't have worried. The build quality (welds, material spec, and fit) of the de-cat link pipe is excellent. The fitment was very straight forward with no issues. It sounds superb! The modified map was emailed to me and uploaded using the ECU Flasher. The UA-cam vid ''How to use the BHP UK ECU Flasher'' is really helpful and made the process to a complete computer dork like myself very easy. But the difference the modified map makes is very impressive, the engine runs smoother and pulls so much better in the low to mid range - a vast improvement. Finally the communication between BHP UK was very reassuring with regular updates and clear instructions. In all highly recommended. As a foot note some of you will be reading this thinking I am employed by BHP UK. I am not. I am a genuine customer who likes to give credit where credit is due and it is nice to see a UK based company providing this level of service.
Loving my system here in Florida, thanks for working with me. Bike sounds amazing now and a no brainer to keep the pikes peak Akra pipe instead of getting full system
I too live in Florida, did you do the work yourself? I have a 2021 Multistrada 950S and would love the weight savings of the decat, but the retuning and installation scare me a bit, as far as doing it myself.
@@kevinmcdonald1917 yep, did it myself. I wrench on all my bikes. Not sure about the 950. If you’re handy it shouldn’t be too difficult, it’s just a matter of aligning the pipes together and tightening some bolts. As far as weight it’s about 20lbs reduction, but I mainly did it for performance and sound. The sound especially is a huge difference for the better
Hi what I would really like to know is what pants are you wearing at the last shot next to the bike outside They look good bad comfy And they don’t look like leather , please can you provide some information ✌🏼
Yes, upon purchasing we will ask if your bike is equipped with the centre stand or if you will be installing the centre stand in the future. We have two different pipes to suit. Both pipes cost the same you would just need to tell us which option you need: shop.bhp-uk.net/products/ducati-multistrada-v4-including-pikes-peak-decat-link-pipe-ecu-flasher-combination
The real question is how does it look vs akra + your map for akra and stock + your map for akra or qd/leovince cat delete + your map for those 🙃 and how they all sound
@@tomtraynor5384 systems are in stock delivery to the US normally takes 3-5 days. 👍🏼 You will need the end can that has only 1 inlet (either Akra or standard Ducati).
Depends on which country you live in.L and what the local laws are. In the US, the manufacturer would have to prove the new map caused the issue, first thing they will do if something internal to engine goes wrong is deny your warranty. So then you’d need to get a lawyer involved but it would be hard to disprove their claims as the ECU which controls all engine operations is not theirs so they can easily say the new map caused the issue as it wasn’t their mapping which was operating the engine parameters. Where this law comes in handy is if you modify the brakes or something like that and the engine breaks, they can’t deny the warranty on the engine repair due to you modifying the brakes as they are clearly unrelated. I’m interested in this product, but personally will wait until my warranty is up just in case something does break.

Hi Al, thanks for the kind words and taking the time to write them! If you need anything else, let us know. Ride safe!

Thanks for the comment Mike, it was a pleasure to work with you, hope you are well!

@@cptsobczak I have the Akrapovic slip on’s on my bike, it sounds great, but losing 20 lbs would be a big improvement. Thanks for the response.
How much was it shipped to Florida and how long did it take to receive it? Thanks.
I think Dyno rips are like the worst way to judge exhaust sound but wow what a difference when you get rid of that middle bit
Yes you’re right. We intend to do some better sound recordings.

And they don’t look like leather , please can you provide some information ✌🏼
Pretty sure they are Dainese Drake Air.
I would love to have that done with my Multistrada 950S.
I'm interested in the BHP tuner and wonder if it also clears codes??
I'd love to see a video while riding it, how it sounds and its performance
Definitely, if we manage to get some good weather and some time away from the dyno we'll get it done!
@@BHPUK thank you very much
Hi , I have the V4 rally , do I get to keep my center stand ? And what is the price

What about the warranty as you need to register the full Akra system with Ducati, ??
Very interested. Akra stock link pipe and stock headers? Just remove and replace the stock CAT?
Does it come with a map? Tuner? Checking your site now. Thank you.
Yes keep the Akra end can and the stock down pipes. Comes with a specifically developed tune. Let us know if you need any more info 👍🏼
So is that simply an exhaust system switch--with the Ducati Race map that comes with the factory race exhaust same in both scenarios? Thanks.
No the BHP UK link pipe comes with its own map.
Is the decat legal for Mot etc?
There is no emissions testing on MOTs so there is no reason it should fail.
Hi , the 10 hp gain is at 11000 rpm ? Do you change the rev limiter with the upmap?
Yes, they increased the rev limiter, he mentions it in the video.
So I have the Ducati Akra and Ducati map, would you be able to improve it further?
Yes, the plots in the video towards the end give the best indication of what we can do differently to the Akra exhaust and map.
@@BHPUK THIS is me as wel--Full system previously installed. How quick are turnarounds to the USA? Thanks.

We didn’t, and legally you shouldn’t.
