I really like that newest version of The Princess & the Frog, though usually I get annoyed at constant remakes of an already familiar story. Tiana's story is very well done though, as it's really a sequel with a similar start rather than just another remake. It being set in 1920s Louisiana rather than 1200s Europe (was it German or French? can't remember now) & the plot being so different to the old fairy tale made it more interesting & in the end it had a truly more realistic happy ending.
This is actually insane😭 I was looking for wreck it ralph 2 reactions last night and couldn’t find any from the people im subbed to and then you upload this. Such perfect timing 😭
A lot of people didn’t like what they did with Ralph’s character in this movie, but I didn’t hate it because I’ve gone through a similar thing, where I’d been so insecure and clingy to the few friends I did have, due to my lack of friends and depression (autism problems). I’m not saying I condone what Ralph did in the movie, but it’s complicated.
@@abc.animal5143 But the two came to the internet to save Sugar Rush, and Vanellope is the most popular character and leader of her game, and as an arcade character its her responsibility and she is just going to abandon her home, family, and people like they mean nothing to.
im left thinking how Sugar Rush's local popularity is going to tank now that the coolest character will never be on the roster again, and how Vanellope may inadvertently cause legal action from Sugar Rush's IP holders against Slaughter race for having a character they have no rights to included in their game.
Well, my guess is Taffyta became the new favorite racer amongst players once again, just like she was the first time Vanelope disappeared from the game after King Candy deleted her code. Also I'm pretty sure Mr. Litwak said the company that made Sugar Rush went out of business years ago, which is part of the reason why Ralph and Vanelope went on that online adventure to fix her game in the first place.
@DonTownsend, 22:45 Vanellope von Schweetz IS a Disney Princess--Wreck-it Ralph is a Disney movie. The thing is, Vanellope isn't your traditional Disney princess. She's short and she can't sing well. At. All! Her clothes, the ones she prefers to wear, are an assortment of loose-fitting sportswear--she's got candy in her hair and she uses licorice to tie her hair up. The Black Disney Princess is Tian from the Princess and the Frog--she married a prince. The best part about this scene was Vanellope calling them all out, though them getting ready to throw down was pretty funny too, lol. They refused to believe that she was a princess since she didn't look like them--they measured princess status based on the trauma one had to endure, lol. 25:50 This is her Disney Princess moment!
The trailer for the movie featured Ralph being part of a kid's mobile game where they swipe left on pancakes to feed the bunny, or swipe right on milkshakes to feed the kitty. Unfortunately, in this little joke referring back to that...... the bunny popped. And I'm guessing it wasn't streamers and glitter.
the Disney princess scene is pretty much Disney saying "Look at our amazing legacy but at the same time, let's try to be like Shrek by having all of them make fun of the jokes such as having Rapunzel say that Eugene's efforts are not cool" it's pretty messed up that Disney essentially advertise the dark web and also Ralph's character really got assassinated and a little bit with Vanellope like she pretty much went "going Turbo" as in the first movie they treated that like the ultimate taboo to never do between all arcade characters as it was constantly being told and here it's just randomly ok like wtf
Well, about the Vanelope "Going Turbo" thing, it's not the exact same case, and I always thought it made a little more sense for her. You see, Turbo was egotistically selfish and wanted all the fame/attention to himself, to the point where he abandoned his game and tried to take over or ruin another game out of sheer jealousy, and after nearly dying as a result he never learned his lesson the first time as he tried to do the same with Sugar Rush. But Vanelope on the other is a whole different story. Vanelope started to feel like she lost her purpose in life after losing her home/game, and when she and Ralph ventured to the internet in an effort to save her game, along the way she found a new game/place to call home, somewhere she felt like she truly belonged and felt comfortable being herself in. There was definitely some inner-self conflicts to be sure, but sometimes moving on is just part of life, even if it means you have to make sacrifices or hard decisions that you may or may not regret in the future, such as moving away from friends and loved ones and not knowing if you'll ever see them again or not. I think one of the biggest conflicting things about this movie, is that there are certain parts that got a little too "real." Like Ralph's insecurity and struggle to let Vanelope go, because he was rejected/bullied and isolated in a lonely depressing cycle of living in literal garbage for 30 years, only to then have finally made a real friend who made him feel happy and like he has purpose in life for the first time in years! A lot of people IRL have separation anxiety and a hard time letting go of close friends or loved ones inevitably moving away from them, and their desperate clinginess could potentially cause them to do terrible selfish things that they'll regret for years to come. While that doesn't justify Ralph's actions nor deny what he did was wrong (though I do gotta give it to Ralph that even when he was acting upon his desperate selfish intentions, at the same time he still maintained some amount of a moral compass and made it abundantly clear that he didn't want to hurt anybody in the process, and I'd imagine that he felt even more horrible upon realizing that he did end up hurting people when the virus did a lot more damage than he was told/implied it would by the shady guy from the dark web), but at the same time a lot of us have made those exact kinds of mistakes and gone through the same struggles as Ralph, I myself find it quite painfully relatable. I always find it kind of interesting yet iffy whenever people in real life going through these kinds of struggles and inner-self conflicts are considered normal and just a natural part of life and often hard learning experiences, but whenever fictional characters go through those exact same things and end up changing in some ways as a result, people just flat-out call them selfish scumbags or an "assassination of their characters", in a way that kinda sounds like a lot of those people just want their favorite characters to stay their same perfect usual selves without any severe life-changing struggles or conflicts of the nature I mentioned earlier. I guess that's kinda what I meant when I said this movie got "too real" at times... I guess perhaps there are reasons why a lot of people don't like too much realism in fictional media, especially animated Disney movies where cartoony video game characters travel across the fun wacky worlds of the internet as an example?
@@rottytopszombiewaifu5249People change, but people’s values do not, and while her game was broken her absence would still be something talked about by everyone. When games are rebooted in an arcade, the characters and setting are always the same. Also, Vanellope was broken and turned into a glitch by Turbo. Now that her place is restored, she has a duty to her game and her people there. People do have problems with being separated, but to create a virus was so out of character for him.
