I biked and booked every hotel, it created a inflexible schedule to make it to my destination, but I found it preferable, my wife walked and either booked nothing or at times booked the day before her intended destination, no wrong answer IMHO 😊
Agreed -- making reservations doesn't offer much flexibility, but it gives you the security of knowing where you'll stay and where you can send your bag. I tried both ways, although usually I found myself booking at least one night ahead. Love to hear how the two of you experienced the Camino in your own style that suits you best and I agree, there is truly no wrong way to do the Camino! 😃 💜
@jenontherunn yes, we're headed back in May with our daughter, and I'm going to bike from Pamplona, then hike from Sarria, they are gonna walk from maybe Pamplona... 😀
I’m just at the beginning of this video so I’m not sure what you discuss here but one reason I would be hesitant about any part of the Camino would be your bed bug experience. Gross. So sorry you had that happen. Now that I’ve made my preemptive comment I’ll go watch and see if you mention that. Trying to share, like and comment your channel for you! :)
I totally understand. The bed bug situation is icky. Most people find them gross, but one thing that helped me get over it once it happened was thinking the health risk was low. They are primarily just an annoyance. Also, I think if you try to go at the start of the season and are very selective about where you stay (read google reviews before each stay), you can avoid them.
Thank you so much for liking, commenting, and sharing. It truly makes a big difference. The support from the Camino community here on UA-cam has made a huge impact on the success of this channel. I am really grateful 🥹♥️🙏

איזה יופי של העברת מסר מאוד נהניתי ❤
♥️ ♥️
For the CF I would only book a place to sleep in SJPDP and Roncesvalles. After that: the Camino provides.
Very informative and extremely helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

Informative but the background music is so SO distracting and noisy :(
