i tried camping in california... and it didn't go as planned
our camping trip to sequoia national forest didn’t exactly go as planned... freezing temps, a windy campsite, and a hike that took an unexpected turn. we only lasted one night, but it made for a story worth sharing! 🏕️
i'm really excited to share that this is my first video edited by me (thanks to some awesome lessons taught by justin at www.cinemadisco.com)!
watch to see how this not-so-epic (but still fun) California camping trip unfolds! 🌟

That looks like lots of fun. How many miles is the ciclovia?
Amazing city, awesome architecture and fab views x
Jen many thanks. I’m 61 and planning my future Camino. Loved all your episodes from the beginning till the end. You made lots of friends and gained another one from the Netherlands. Wish you all the best for what might come on your path. Very inspiring. Greetings Adriaan. 😊

Jen, really cool places to visit in Barcelona!! Thank you!
thanks for your comment! glad you enjoyed watching!
Best place to visit in San Miguel? My daughter is teaching in San Juan del Rio, Mexico and we are going to visit.
How heavy did your bag end up being? Also, how many times did you use the transport service for your bag?
Never heard of Cakeland.
Informative but the background music is so SO distracting and noisy :(
What month did you walk? Thanks
mid August-September!
Aww!! I missed you while you were here!! I hope you had a fun time! Love The BeltLine! 💕

I’m starting the final stage of my Camino on Monday. Already I am thinking about doing the whole 500 miles next year. You are a real inspiration and I wish I had found your Chanel earlier. Thanks you. Such an emotional experience. ❤
Buen Camino, my friend! I'm so touched that you found my videos inspiring. Welcome to Santiago ❤️ ❤️
I am the king of cauliflowers
Hi Jen, thanks for sharing your ride on the tram. I'm not sure about your expression of the trip. Was it scary, windy, does it rock? I am afraid of heights and I'm uncertain if staying in the middle would help. suggestions ✌️
If you are already afraid of heights, it is a scary ride going up. Going down is much easier. However, I think if you stay in the middle and look at the floor, that might help. My stepmother is afraid of heights and she has managed to do it twice! The tram does not sway in the wind. At about two points there is a little "bump" when it goes over the tall pole
@@jenontherunn I appreciate your response. I'll consider it for my visit this month. Thank you
Valiente Galleguina!!!
❤️ ❤️ 💪
Nice, I have a friend who lives there in Atlanta and I have yet to visit her from Canada. Looks like a cool city with a fun vibe.
Atlanta is great! There’s so much going on. The Belt Line is one of the top things to do there in my opinion. I would also recommend the High museum - amazing art! ♥️
Tremendous Capital City! Visitors quickly realize of the history, culture, traditions, delicious and eclectic gastronomy. Mexico City is just fascinating, too much to explore and discover. Mexico has the largest number of world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO, the product of its complex historic processes. Nice vid!
Thank you! I agree! Mexico City is one of my favorite places in the world!
🙏🏾😊
The Belt Line looks like a great walk and is a favorite with the locals and visitors. Thanks for the tour!
What a beautiful day to visit the Griffith Observatory! LA was about as clear as it ever gets. The city lights are spectacular! One of my favorite spots in LA.
Nice sunglasses! Looks like a lot of quality products at this flea market!! Thanks Jen!
It's a good one! Thanks for watching!
Looks a fun and interesting walk. Great to see the art and a piano player! 🥰
Such a talented pianist!
Just finished my Camino from St Jean to Finesterre. I actually watched this video for tips and used most of these. The shoe bigger than your regular size saved me! On the Camino I would refer to places you had passed through. Thanks for helping make my Camino more enjoyable
I'm SO happy to hear my tips were helpful!! Buen Camino, friend!
Thank you 😊
Hi Mija. I am doing my Camino 2025. I am watching all your videos. You are a brave young lady. I am coming from Los Angeles as well. I will be taking 21/2 week off for my walk. I want to avoid Sirria as my starting point. I have read that it is overcrowded. I am planning on May or June 2025. What air flight service did you use? and where did you start from? I am 60. I have never travel internationally in my life. I am going solo.
I can't see the name of your Day back. Where did you buy it?
Thank you for the Video. 2025 will be my first time. Not sure which month.
Jenn - Can I ask what month did you "Camino?'
August to mid-September!
Great tips, as I will be visiting soon!! 😊
Enjoy your visit! Palm Springs is beautiful this time of year.
You can't fix this problem by changing behavior. The only real lever you have is the artificial creation of scarcity. And the mechanism by which you employ that lever is price. To actually moderate demand, you must substantially increase price. You will get a "higher quality" tourist - at least in terms of spending power. You will not get some egalitarian queue divorced from economic means. Is that what you want? There is an unspoken undercurrent in this discussion. "Cheap airline flights have opened up travel to a large number of people who couldnt previously afford it." It seems people don't want to face the implications of the solutions they seek.
Barcelona citizen here. A couple of weeks ago this August, thanks to the tourists from the Airbnb apartments who broke (again) the elevator over the weekend with the weight of their suitcases (despite the warnings inside the elevator) my 80-year-old parents, and specifically my father who is in a wheelchair and who live on the 6th floor, had to come and live in my apartment until the technicians came to repair it (because it was a summer vacation period and also a weekend). Some of the older neighbors who live in the building were unable to go outside for the same reason. F-CK Airbnb! Tourist go home!!
I’m really sorry to hear about your situation. It must have been incredibly challenging for you and your family. It’s frustrating when tourism impacts the lives of locals like this. Thank you for sharing your experience here.
I have hiked there so many times and do agree Fern Dell is a better spot to start away from the crowded main road to the observatory
I'm so glad to hear you agree! This hike is quickly becoming a favorite
primero no son 800 km,ok guapa....y segundo el camino no es un paseo es una aventura espiritual que la llevan haciendo millones de peregrinos anonimos a lo largo de siglos....saludos guapa...
