You can buy a copy of my dermpath survival guide here: bit.ly/2Te2haB. Thank you for your support! A complete organized library of all my videos, digital slides, pics, & sample pathology reports is available here: kikoxp.com/posts/5084 (dermpath) & kikoxp.com/posts/5083 (bone/soft tissue sarcoma pathology).
Congratulations! Do you think you would be able to make a series of videos that accompany each chapter in the book? (Like what Pathoma does, or Elston's online supplemental resources. Can't wait to get a copy!
yes! A complete organized library of all my videos, digital slides, pics, & sample pathology reports is available here: kikoxp.com/posts/5084 (dermpath) & kikoxp.com/posts/5083 (bone/soft tissue sarcoma pathology). The dermpath library is organized by entity just like my book is.
Just finished reading your Survival Guide To Dermatopathology. It is an extremely practical book, right up there with Ron Rapini's book (that is a great compliment). I have been doing surgical pathology for 31 years, and have seen a lot of skins. I have read many Dermpath books over the years, and I can say that in this book I found numerous "pearls" on every page. Most people will find this book extremely useful, and I highly recommend it. I have said this before- Jerad, you are a gifted educator. John Fazio, MD Syracuse, NY
Thank you!!! Rapini is one of my favorite mentors. So I take that as a huge compliment. Can I ask a small favor? Would you please rate the book & post this very kind review on Amazon? It would be a big help to me. Thank you very much! 🙏🏻 buff.ly/366R7va
Awesome! Can I ask a small favor? If you liked my #dermpath survival guide book, could you please rate it & write a short honest review on Amazon? Thank you! 🙏🏻 buff.ly/366R7va
if it's going to be half as decent as all your videos its going to be awesome :) BTW I believe ( and I think i'm not alone in this regard) that no amount of text will ever surpass a relentless pounding of a case after case after case approach in your videos in which you show every possible entity from every possible angle, highlighting caveats and showing how to cope with them. again i do not believe that I'm alone in this but nothing gets as easily through that thick skull of mine as those multiple examples shown in every of those videos. it's hard to convey the feeling when you struggle with a concept and then find those videos knowing that everything that's important is going to be explained. in simple terms in simple words... and those ramen noodles ;) Thank you for all you do for the path community. The book's been bought and I wait impatiently for it to cross the ocean :)
Congrats Sir! Goodluck for more I am from India , i like watching and learning from your videos and looking forward to buy this book whenevr its availaible in india
You can order from publisher. They ship worldwide: bit.ly/2Te2haB. Or from Amazon. There is no electronic version. Only soft cover printed version. Best wishes.
Congrats! I am interested in buying, if ever a pdf soft copy of the book(s), including may be that of soft tissue, is available. From West Africa. Thanks.
You can buy the Pathology Survival Guides here: bit.ly/2Te2haB. They are currently only sold as paper printed books. No digital format available. Sorry!
I have a very basic dermpath question I hope you can answer. I think you've discussed it in a video before but I can't remember which one. When looking at a skin biopsy such as the one shown here: ibb.co/HTX9Bb9 there are areas (circled) where it looks like parts of the papillary dermis are "disconnected" from the rest of the dermis (ie not the typical dermal papillae extending upwards between the rete ridges. Is this because of how the tissue is sectioned? Or is it because the hyperplastic epidermis is growing into the underlying dermis and sort of cutting it off? Hope that question makes sense. Thanks!
Yes the epidermis is growing down and some rete are fusing together. But the islands of stranded papillary dermis are mostly due to oblique/tangential sectioning.
Hi doctor Jerad why all of your book review are all about dermatopathology i need a textbook that cover all of the topics for a medical student Can you help me in that ?
Thanks so much for letting me know! There must be a glitch with that page on the website. I will get them to fix it. Here’s another link that will work www.innovativesciencepress.com/survival-guides
