His legs kinda reminded me of camels. And also I think that it might not really have to do with the animals movements, just maybe that camels were popular at the time, like in Rockabilly music there is the Ubangi Stomp and that was probably because Safari Movies were popular. Maybe Camel Walk came out ater Lawrence of Arabia somethin like that.
