Hi Tasteless, just want to say that I have been enjoying the "odd" games off ladder. Some of my favorite chess content has been wacky stuff that's super interesting to see - and I always thought that SC replays were missing that on UA-cam. Thanks a lot for all the content. I am an old fan from back before the GOMTV days.

In some way, this game was even more bizarre than the last one!
But I welcome the use of Ensnare, it's as underrated as Dark Archons.
fun game and a great example of why nobody uses queens, so much effort and resources went into them and they didn't really get anything done, but I'm glad high level players are still trying them because I think one day they will crack the code and integrate them into high level play and its gonna be sick
IIRC there was a JD game where he went mass muta vs a Terran and mixed in 1-2 queens to infest a command center (which he did)... the queen kinda doubles DPS vs CC. You could try with lings & hope they don't instantly lift.
It seems like Z try queens vs mech fairly frequently but spawn broodling is so energy expensive I don't think it's worth it. Usually it looks bad.
The most promising use of queen IMO is ZvZ where it's much cheaper to go ensnare+queen than hive+mound+defiler+plague.
Ensnare basically nullifies stim, which is huge.
And if he had an Overlord with his mutas to see the Wraiths, he wouldn't have missed twice, and they would instantly be dead.
Frankly if Defilers weren't so OP, we would probably see Ensnare in every games.

Dude I've been saying this for months. Watch Flash when he off races Zerg against SK Terran. He uses queens with ensnare because it's what bothers him the most.
In MMORPG it's well know that slows and ensnares are OP because they take away your control.
Is that ensnare on the bio with a ling/lurker ground force?
@anonymousAJ Manly with DS. It slows down the retreat so exchanges tilt in zerg favor.
I wonder why rush left the game. He just killed the zergs 3rd which is massive. He just had a few lings and an ultra in his base he could have rallied that. Unless he lost all his wraiths off screen or something.
Lings and ultras in his base would kill the spawning marines and zerg would rally ling + ultra, he was pretty damn dead

Queens, corsairs, Dark Archons and valks are under utilized in my humble opinion. There really should be a push to include them earlier even if it means using static defense or delaying macro expansion. When I used to use zerg i infested at least one command center in over half my games and almost all my games over 12 minutes. I didn't play pros, but I played people in my APM / MMR range. btw I use arch
Queen ensnare was total miss, but he still won with well timed counter attacks.

When Rush GGs at 13:15, what is it that he types, and how can i type it
It's ㅎㅎ, because if you type "GG" on a Korean Keyboard, you type those two characters. They have to swap from Korean/Hangul input to alphabet before they can type GG and sometimes they forget and do a quick gg + leave match.

Hoping you can have the top-left banner rotate more and sometimes be hidden. It's really in-your-face. I guess that's the downside to doing this from Twitch. Everything is busy. It's fine watching with chat on because it is pretty chill. The sub count is fine too. I guess it's those three things together that dampen it. I think you can also hide that bottom-right panel too? Happy to see you casting solo. Hopefully you can declutter a bit.
I agree. However, I do understand he is advertising himself in order to generate more revenue, and it probably works which is why he will continue to do so. I wish it wasn't there, but I understand why.
Yeah I hear that. I think there's a balance. Like what they do for ASLEnglish where it comes up periodically. I like this project so I'll be watching his full casts...plenty of time to see it. Tricky with streaming though, especially with people coming in/out

I like games with Wraiths, and queen is defiantly refreshing to see. But the micro in this game was bad. Are these pros?

finaly a terran that uses wraiths, unfotunently coulnt give the zerg a taste of their own medicine, he forgot to build firebats and seige tanks, rookie mistake. is zerg has teched to ultra and you still dont have battle cruisers you are playing terran wrong smh.
Yes judging by this example I'm 100% confident that queen's are the new standard for zerg. Any zerg watching this will ask themselves why they don't build more queens.
Folks haven’t practiced with them like with the other units i think.
