I’m 15, and it was really interesting to actually know more about lots of theses procedures where you explain exactly what they are instead of just naming them like you did in your other videos. Loved the vid🎉🙂
thank you so much for these kind of videos, this series is very informational and as a medical student who will be in rotations in a few years too, it shows me what i can expect
plus, it breaks the sterotype of surgeons being mean to newly graduated, it's great hearing that they were helpful and don't mind you observing surgeries!!
can't wait for the acute medicine video
Oh My God, I just finished my Renal Transplant Surgery allocation in St Georges's University of London, and it was beautiful. Props to the Surgeons.

Hi nasir, incredible video as alway!! I love that you are enjoying what you do. I hope I enjoy it as well. I’m currently in my 4th year, doing my obs and gyn rotation which is quite an interesting place. But with the new UKMLA exams, this year has been daunting and full of anxiety but hopefully everything will be fine🤞🏽 Cant to hear about your next rotation.

Off topic but I’m Loving the background 😍
God bless you You are a gift to us
Btw I saw a Study With Me video on Apple’s YT Channel and I was shocked that they didn’t invite you.
Only today I realised that your videos are in a certain degree, targeting medical students and professionals. My profession has nothing to do with that but I’ve enjoyed your contents for years. Keep up with the good work, doctor Nasir!❤
I like this video lam studying kidney and dialysis this video is so good 💗
finally!!!❤❤
excellent video kharma mdeic !! i just have a question, what do nurses do on those wards?
Really really strange watching videos from new home, new background etc😅 but this is life, that's because we grow with you! Thanks Kharma
I know! His new background apartment looks so well set up, I almost thought it was fake
@@annakleptsova6112 no I mean like a fake background that you can use when you don't want people to see your house.
It's very obvious it's a scammer...no subscribers on the channel
I want to be a good doctor like you
Happy to see you .Lets gooo
26:36 Haha love this
sounds like you're enjoying being Dr. Nasir!
Hey Nasir, do you have any physician's assistant channels that you would recommend? I am in the process of getting my patient care hours and hope to apply to PA school soon 😊💓. Always love it whenever you upload 💕.

What books/sources do you recommend for the USMLE steps 1 and 2?
A UA-camR DOCTOR IS LIT
I was surprised to find out that under not that much pressure, you, junior doctors are so lucky to have PAs to ease the workload, for the number of your patients are not that big, which is unbelievable in China.
Bro make some more 12 hr study with me , they are super good and useful
بالتوفيق💙

what is your take on doctor pays in uk in nhs? 1.9k a month? isnt that too little?
hey can you help me how can I study in uk in med school if I'm from india pls kharma medic
Hi naser
15:16 so where is the link? :)
❤
I use to found it difficult to study, and my dream work is becoming a medical doctor, and I am an average student. Please can I become a medical doctor?🥺
Chances are you probably didn't find the best study technique to suit you. Also, if you keep the mindset of: "I'm just average student, i can't become a doctor", you'll never get anywhere, and you certainly won't fulfil your dream. Believe in yourself. Look up the 'fixed mindset vs the growth mindset' also. To get into Medical school (let alone become a doctor) you have to believe in yourself. Even if no one else does, you've gotta find that strength, because you'll most definitely surprise yourself if you put in the effort.
@@Syncretic. thank you very much 🙏🙏
Yes my dear you can
ما شاءالله 😭🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Which is better and safer for studing headphones or earphones? And which type do you recommend?
headphones are somewhat safer than earphones because you're not actually directly playing music/audio into your ears
What specialty is he training in? Im confused
Hi Nasir, will you become a doctor in US?I remember that you have passed the usmle step 1.
Are you saying “et cetera” or “ek cetera”? I can’t understand
kharma turkish subtitle pls

Can you let Arabic translation be available for video
I heard that becoming a surgeon is passion and desire. That is my plan A, although I’ve been thinking about the concept bout plan B n it got me confused therefore I’m thinking of becoming either a surgeon or a gynecologist.
A gynaecologist is a surgeon…

What happened to your skin brother? On your neck, there is some redness! Are you fine?
great to see Dr.Kharma again❣, also every one pray for Palestine🥺💔
Long live Palestine 🇵🇸 ❤
Lmao dfkm
Did you also pray for Israel?
@@Timzhil ofcourse, for the innocent jews, dude, but Palistine should never have been destroyed, just because Nazis and the west wanted to pay back to Jews ,this decades of killings of Palestinjans, and the support of US and the west for these killings are just so clear , and sad😔 .
@@aqb.3190 ok, so next time, please, write instead: “everyone pray for Palestine and Israel”.
Guys does anybody know what residency he's studying in now? Is it internal medicine? I'm condused🥲 It's very different from our rotations
Asking someone to pray or which well for innocent civilians being oppressed and terrorised isn’t a political statement. This is also a youtube comment section, not a hospital ward, so it is appropriate for someone to make such a comment with the aim of educating others.

Why is taking bloods a doctor job in the NHS? Such a waste of junior doctors' time... Are there no phlebotomists?
How would they learn to perform basic procedures otherwise? When I had colonoscopy, two nurses were unable to find a vein, so that the doctor had to do that. The other time, my mother needed a change of dressing, and her surgeon performed that, because the nurse assistant was nowhere nearby.
Also, you can't move towards the difficult procedures without learning basics first.

First Comment !
Hi Nasir, first of all I just want to address the abbreviation of "PA" which stands for Physician Associate, not "Physician's" Associate that was incorrectly pronounced in the video. Yes, PAs are supposed to be an addition to the medical workforce to help off-load the work of medical staff. Not necessarily to help doctors do the "menial" tasks so that doctors can do the "doctoring". This is a common misconception that our role only exists to assist doctors.
Physician Associate students are trained in the medical model and undergo 2 years of intense postgraduate medical training. We are taught general medical knowledge and skills which allows us to take histories, perform examinations, procedures formulate differentials as well as management plans. After completion of the PA course, we are required to undertake two national exams, including a written paper and a 14-station OSCE. What you have chosen to list in your video about what we do, quite frankly, downplays our level of training.
Please use your platform to spread information that you are familiar with, especially when mentioning a new role in healthcare. Otherwise this would lead to continuous misinterpretations. Your viewpoint of PAs based on only one rotation at a certain specialty does not provide enough insight for you to comment on the role. Please do research on the role as there will be more chances of PAs working with doctors moving forward.
I have always been a big fan of your humble personality on your channel. Therefore, please continue to create insightful healthcare videos with your open mindedness. Thank you~
