    These videos on note-taking are the best ones that you have ever made!! Most of us, I believe, are not guided well when it comes to things like note-taking. Or preparing for exams. The funny thing is that I (and I think others have too) made similar mistakes before, like typing out everything in a lecture or writing everything in a book down!😂😂 Before this pandemic, I was studying Control Systems by going through the exercises and figuring out what I know and what I don't, but later I ditched this method because I felt like I might miss out on something. Now it's my final year so I will definitely give Notion a shot. Even though I am an engineering student, I am finding these videos helpful. So thank you x 10e+09 for making these videos!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍

    • @marinaalbuquerque1869
      @marinaalbuquerque1869 2 роки тому +2

      @@ATGG Well, it took me a while to understand what I actually needed to do for things to work out... and I can't say "do this, and you're gonna get there", because every single case is different. But the biggest piece of advice I can give you is: find what you did wrong in the past, get to know your weaknesses and work on them.
      In my case, practicing questions from past exams played a huge role in the process of studying for the exam I needed to take to get into Medical School, because that made me find out what I was doing wrong and which contents I struggled with the most, so I could focus more on the things I wasn't good at.
      And also remember: good things take time. People are different, people achieve things in different periods of time. The path is challenging and sometimes really tough, but it's so worth it! Seeing the results of your hard work is really satisfying. I wish you good luck!

    loved the video. not the fact that u never mentioned active recall but the fact of starting from past papers question to study for the exams and making notes.

    it's the whole journey of note taking and switching between degital and paper and going to practice testing is what made kharma what he is now , this means that we all need not to be afraid of making change and try different study methods 'cause what works now might not work later and what worked in the past might not be enough now ... So the whole point is to keep working in consistency and inovating and be brave enough to take risks inorder to change for the best

    Hi Nassir, your new subscriber here 😃😃 you had such a great study pattern. I am studying master in computer science and currently learning about cognitive science in e-learning. From the way you described, you place an importance in how you retrieve, process and rewrite information as a way to learn and "etch" them to your cognition. I myself been years trying that. Struggling with Maladaptive Daydreaming and other mental issues messed up my way of learning each time I arranged them. I am curious to know how you use resources around you. You mentioned only books and lectures. I am curious on how you use online resource, such as YT tutorials, etc. From your video, I can conclude that your study pattern improved with the advancement of resource you had and how you strategically use them fully. You formed your study pattern for 10 years, and now you reap the result. Bravo to you, hope you'll be the best doctor in the future 😊😊

    Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the solution to my struggle haha.
    I've always been a by-hand note-taking kind of student, now as a medical student, I no longer have the time as you said.
    I needed tiny motivation to start my notion summary notebook.
    This video was my sign to start; so thank you!

    It would be a very nice idea to go through the books you used for each subject during your studies or maybe show us what books are really good for each subject

    You have managed to condense mankind's 1000 year struggle with how to learn into just 25 mins! Don't want to give away how old I am, but I've not had to study for over 15 years but I am actively learning how to learn for the benefit of my 3 kids, aged 1 to 6! I don't want them to study as hard and as for as long as I did, thanks for your help Nasir!
