Excellent vid (as always)! I’m at a point in my fashion journey where this feedback really resonates because I wish I knew these things years ago. Keep these types of vids coming!
This video is Gospel my friend!! Two guidelines I set for myself long ago were.. 1. Set a budget, and stick to it. Even when it hurts to pass up on a sale. This will keep you picky and very selective on what you buy so you add to your wardrobe with purpose. 2nd to that, When you are about to add a piece, especially if it’s a basic item like a sweater or shirt, think about what you already own and love that you spend your hard earned money on that you are ready to wear less because you “need” this new piece. This will help you shop in your own closet and appreciate the cool stuff that’s in there. Be well my friend. That Corridor shirt is fire!
Knowing my measurements has never been an issue for me, partly because mine don’t necessarily fall into the norm. The bigger problem in my experience has been the lack of item measurements on websites, as I’m forced to buy online due to the relative isolation of my city from good taste and quality clothing.
Also! Great video! 🙏 I'm glad someone finally said to not spend so much money at first on clothes and letting people know that they have the freedom to wear garments that aren't super high end material! People should definitely take the time to figure out what they like first before hyperfixating on certain aspects on garments and diving into the money pit. Plus genuinely, people's style change over time, sometimes faster than others but that's not a bad thing. Clothing can reflect so many different things about a person, and it adds spice to life so let people have fun with it!
Thanks for the great video! I can't lie I started recently & I might fit into a lot of these mistakes... very impulsive decisions. It might be better to slow down & try to work with what I have in the wardrobe. I learned a lot from your videos & tiktoks so I appreciate your dedication to these subjects & providing informative content
My guy thank you so much for the love and for your kind words! 🙏🔥 Don’t get me wrong, ALL of us are guilty of SOME kind of mistake here, me myself included! But what’s important is we grow from it! I wish you the best of luck and hope you have fun on this journey dude! 🔥
Figuring out my measurments came with some trial and error over the years for me with my most recent experience being I placed an order for jeans on Gustin a while ago but I was a lot heavier set when I ordered the pair and didn't expect to lose so much weight over the time it took to get to me 😅 I stopped drinking and oh my God, I didn't realize how bloated it made me over the years. I lost 3 inches off of my waist just from not drinking anymore. Went from 34" to a 31" waist. But that's life for you!
Buying clothes too fast is what I focus of on the most. I try to tell myself: 2 tees, 2 shirts, 1 sweater/hoodie a year and an outerwear piece every couple of years.
Great vid . I think Uniqlo should work with u , and I believe it’s gonna happen soon . I live here in Taiwan and Uniqlo here works with UA-camrs who got great taste . They let them pick whatever they want and let them style them . I know you will kill it ~ easy!
My friend its so good to see you again! Thank you for the love as always, I appreciate you for real! 😁 Hpnestly I would love to work with them if they reached out! They're different lines are so interesting, because some of them are made different from the main line, and would love to highlight the differences between the two!
Love the passion dude!! Frickin' great stuff 👌 Edit: I really really love clothes, but I absolutely do not care about brands. I don't care if its cheap or expensive, all I care about is if it looks okay and if I like it.
These are easily found if you’re willing to spend some time looking, online in my case. I only buy cotton, linen, wool et cetera, and like the man says, know thy measurements.
@@alternateunreleasedshellac505 I avoid synthetic linings as much as possible, even going so far as to rip them out if it doesn't affect the structure or my aesthetic preference. I often rip out tags if they bug me, but I haven't gone as far as vetting the thread used in construction - sometimes synthetic thread will do the job better anyway. Do you have chemical sensitivities? That would be tough, I know someone who lives with that.
@@88sstraight no. I just prefer everything 100% natural. As to leave little to no waist behind, after the garment has served it's purpose. I have found Unbleached Apparel, but don't know if they use synthetic threads or no.

Thank you so much my friend! I appreciate you! 🙏🔥 Mannnn I wish we had someone to tell us this when we were younger for real 😅😭
This is so good, I love how some tips are obvious to some people and not to others; def shows you picked the right topics
Great video, you seem to really be hitting your groove. Appreciate your efforts!
Thank you so much my friend! I appreciate the kind words! You're the best! 😁

You talked about washing but what about drying? Do you air dry or machine dry your clothes?
It depends really? But usually I airdry luxury clothing and machine dry basics and essentials like t-shirts and such 🙏 Hope this helps 🔥
great video as always brotha 👌🏽

Stop buying and starting wearing. Thats the best advice I can give.
Buying clothes too fast is what I focus of on the most. I try to tell myself: 2 tees, 2 shirts, 1 sweater/hoodie a year and an outerwear piece every couple of years.
The average person buys almost 70 pieces per year. You're doing alright

Natural fibers and cloth is something I opt for when making a purchase. Even though it's pretty much impossible to find a 100%.
These are easily found if you’re willing to spend some time looking, online in my case. I only buy cotton, linen, wool et cetera, and like the man says, know thy measurements.
@@88sstraight Is the lining, color, thread / stitching and label on these clothes non-synthetic as well?

“Just getting into fashion”? You’ve either got the need for interesting clothes or you haven’t. It starts young.
I really wish you was a friend of mine, that would be amazing
We’re all friends here I do it! And I always remember the ones who are always here every video 🙏🔥 So thank you for that as always 🫡
Apart from the quality of the video, facial hair grooming do be clean tho
