In this video, Rachel Zoe Studio lets fashion vlogger Rachel Nguyen build her dream look. Although she could’ve picked any look at all, there’s one thing she’s always wanted to redo- her prom outfit. In school, Rachel bought her prom too early and by the time senior year came along her style had progressed and outgrown the dress. As prom queen, she wishes she had something she felt more glam in. Rachel Zoe Studio comes to the rescue, with a dream prom re-do.
Three outfits are suggested. The first is an elegant crop top with structured culottes. Rachel loved the jewel tones, and the structure and volume is fun and original. For the next two outfits the studio suggested stealing a look from the boys, and making trousers feminine with either a sexy bustier or a top with draping metallic fabric. Narrowing it down to two, Rachel chooses the Sass & Bide metallic top because she’s never worn anything like it, as well as the jewel toned culottes and crop top. After trying on both, she settles on the jewel toned outfit, because it feels age appropriate, sophisticated, and has a great color palette. The best part? The culottes have pockets and are comfortable enough to dance the night away! For accessories, Rachel Zoe Studio picks out simple shoes and earrings, paired with statement moonstone rings. The purse ties the whole look together, bringing in both embellishments and navy color from the shoes. In the end, two amazing looks were created and Rachel is sure to win prom queen all over again in this amazing outfit!
