I've got Ehlers Danlos Syndrome so my joints dislocate up 50+ times a day. I can pop all my fingers out and everything, hurts like hell but I'm pretty used to it. Once I saw a girl who had dislocated her thumb falling off a flying fox so I dislocated mine and showed her how to pop hers back in with the least pain. Luckily it worked! She was up and back at it in a couple minutes. I felt quite happy that my illness had helped someone :)

You know what’s the most interesting thing of this videos? Everyone has a different pain threshold and way to deal with pain. It’s good to remember that
And different situations to the same type of injury can also alter your pain tolerance. I've had two (confirmed) dislocations and one barely hurt at all and the other was just about the worst pain ever (I have a complex pain condition so when I say I'm in pain, people around me pay attention)
Even tho the doctor couldn't get it in himself, he's a legend for how he handled the pain.
I feel so bad for the English backpacker who didn't have the money for an ambulance 😢 I went backpacking last summer and made sure to have travel insurance just in case anything happened but my heart really went out to him!
It's so sad because in germany the health insurance takes care of the costs so you don't have to care about it

Once i was really drunk, I fell and dislocated my knee. Then freaked out, so I put it back in place. I didn't feel any really bad pain. Then it happened again, one year later. That time I wasn't drunk... that was a lot of pain, but i was able to put it back in place again.

How long did it take you to recover from both injuries?. Also, surely your legs swelled during both dislocations, so were you able to straighten your legs at all or no?. I'm asking all this because I dislocated my knee recently and can't straighten my leg.
@@controlman7490 Hey there! I will never recover fully without surgery, that is for sure, cuz i damaged some serious sutff in the knee. (One of my tendons which gives your knee stability) My left knee is much more unstable than my not injured one, but now i'm able to walk, run, kneel, squat. In that time, i was able to straighten it, but unable to bend it, cuz the swelling and that so much stuff goin' on there. That was a lot of training, rehabilitation, all in all, that was 6 months that i would say, i learned to walk with my unstable knee. Get better soon! Wish you the bestest of everything!

I heard hip dislocations are the worst. My dad dislocated his hip playing highschool football and he said it was one of the worst pains he had ever felt. I also saw my buddy dislocate his elbow. He dislocated it a few times before but he said whenever it happens its excruciating.
I’ve had four knee dislocations (resulted in a reconstruction) and two shoulder dislocations (with expectant reconstruction on its way!) they’re so much fun!!!

Unless you get up to get food or go to the bathroom and dislocate you’re toe. I did when I was 14 by hitting it on the corner of a wall and dislocated and fractured my baby toe on my left foot and my toe was pointing left. Even worse I had to wait till the next morning to even see a doctor because my mom thought it was just broke and I was overreacting even tho my toe was pointing left not straight.

We have free doctors, dentists etc but our ambulance fees are a bit hefty for the average joe...unless you’re a pensioner, then they’re free.
But we do have a reciprocal agreement with the UK.. I’m surprised the lifeguards didn’t know that.
Health care is free, for citizens not for foreigners. Itd be the same if i were to go to Britain, id have to pay. Ambulances only cost about $440 bucks, doesnt break the bank. And its free if you have ambulance cover. Hell its free for only 50 bucks if your a member of st john.

I dislocated my knee at work a few years back. Seriously, the pain is indescribable.
My kneecap popped out of place 4 different times through the years. The last 3 times I popped it back in place myself. Hurts like a mother.....

My best friend dislocated her knee at my place while she was dancing. I told her to bite a towel cause I was about to put it back into place. Once I slid it back into place, I gently did movement exercises with her, and she was in a lot of pain but the knee seemed to go back in its socket. Sure enough she calls me from the hospital to say that I saved her knee, the doctor had said if I hadn't been so quick to do it, they would have broken her knee to get it back into its place, and she wouldn't really be able to dance again. Felt pretty proud, and we have been friends for 12 years.

Some kids pushed my friend over in high school and ran off screaming cause they thought they had broken my friends fingers. They are just SUPER flexible to the point they can make their fingers look almost exactly like the dislocated finger shown in the clip.

I've had a dislocated finger before and it bloody hurt. The pain was so bad and I was in such a state the doctors at the hospital had to sedate me (I was only nine years old at the time). So yeah, whenever I see any dislocation I can't help but cringe in sympathy.
The guys who just got in with it and sorted it out themselves are proper warriors.
