Data miners found a pretty much functional offline mode in the game files as far as I'm aware, so I can imagine it wouldn't be to difficult for them to add it to the game.
That's correct! I commented in my video yesterday on how frustratingly close it was. I think (hope?) it comes sooner than later

@@PrivateJellyJosethey have to add to the current Payday IP which woudl then in turn change the IP which has to go thru a submission process both buy the game creator company and 3rd party’s like Microsoft and Sony, thing like achievements working and no glitches.. Xdefiant is going thru it RIGHT NOW. It no that it “difficult” but time consuming and will call for a pretty big update
I think starbreeze is too late, but I'm still happy to see the changes. However no offline mode really.

It's all about Game pass and the gaming cloud, Offline to them is a joke, sadly.
Im gonna compare Payday 3 to Darktide. Darktide was released with a ton of bugs and poor performance but they after 6 month made the game so much better and if Starbreeze has the love they claim for the game i belive it will all be fixed and the game will be made better.
That is not to forgive the state both game was at release and it should not be a standard in the industry and they deserved the backlash they got.
I have faith that they will be able to fix the server issues

I had to pause at 5:31 to say, it is vital, if not more vital, to have a picture of the crew next to functioning servers all with server fixing tools looking relieved, with every cop special running into the room but instead of holding guns and stuff they have laptops and computer hardware
I contemplated photoshopping Dallas working on the servers, but realized I lacked the technical skill to do show fast enough to get the video out. Maybe one day....
The amount stolen and getting out with your team alive (finishing the heist) should be BY FAR the main way to gain XP and increase progress for character development. All other aspects when thinking about a real heist and by connection in this game should pale in comparison to the importance of those to points of emphasis.
The fact that you can’t chat with your team outside the mission makes this NOT A HEIST GAME AT ALL!!! Any decent Heist game/novel/comic/movie/show/story/etc focuses on the planning stage(s)

7:50 i legit thought for a second this was gus fring/giancarlo esposito which played the dentist in payday 2.
I think it is still up to the publishers to push that out.
There is reason why that a functional debug mode which looks very similar to crimenet, is there and is in the files.
Alot of us is worried that it is due to them not able to deliver it out Caz they got pressured by the publisher to make it online only, and it is the same for the micro-transaction.

bruh what happen to the Gold Bags, done all the missions so far and there all Cash bags and some other stuff. Even the major bank mission only has Cash bags, let alone what the heck happen to the depth of the missions why are they so easy now even on overkill.
What bums me out is the server problems are going to distract from all the bigger issues with the game. Namely no match xp. Keep the challenges but at least add match xp. That and we need more overkill weapons. Launching with two is a joke imo 3 would be the bare minimum. Where’s a minigun or a flamethrower or an rpg? Or are those not “serious” enough for Payday 3? I’m also PRAYING they get better at balancing than they were in Payday 2. In payday 2 they sledgehammer nerfed a lot of fun builds (anyone remember Grinder?) please don’t go overboard nerfing things like they used to
Grinder nerf was completely warranted. Were you around when it released?

I got burnt when it asked to sell my data and setting up that stupid account log in. Eventually once I got into a game i was truly disappointed. Just not as fun as i thought, but I haven't played with friends yet but not sure I will keep it around on the ol Xbox.
I'm the same but have played with friends a bit, challenges are what is keeping me away i cant stand the thought of getting almost xp after doing a heist
Yeah 30% in the first week with all those negative reviews. It's damaged the game, the franchise, the studio. Idk how many refunds but they acknowledged the influx in their stream. The game is successful, but high chance it's irredeemable in terms of making this long-term. We'll have to wait and see.

These companies give no fuck about reviews lol as long as their sales number are high, they don't care.
@@IAMNOTRANA Having a mostly negative rating on Steam tends to affect sales. And like they've said themselves, mtx *are* coming so making that sale to get a player into the ecosystem is important, especially since a paying customer is less likely to abandon a game than a f2p like from gamepass. This can really mess them up long term if they don't get their stuff together.
@@IAMNOTRANA problem is the reviews and bad media press will massively damage long-term sales, the refunds are damaging the game in its infancy in it's biggest week (launch week). So they'll definitely give a fuck, cause the game is losing serious revenue as a result.
I watched some videos about Payday 3 now. I started the Payday 2 on launchday and grinded the hell out of it.
Couldnt wait for 3 to finally release but now after watching some videos im not sure if i want to buy it yet.

another big thing is that starbreeze are having weekly meetings with their partners (ie kknowley, red archer live, etc), so they'll know about issues in the community
Yup yup. We missed the first one, but we've been permitted to send a list of questions ahead of time to be answered next one. Hopefully we'll have more info to share from that if it's not under NDA
I like payday 3 but not as much as 2. It’s the little things that do it for me. Like the filters on certain maps, not being able to buy assets you want, not being able to jump in a helicopter or van to escape, no body bags, also no preplan/ lobby phase. I want to at least get an overview of some blueprints before I begin a mission.
I wonder what type of drip Houston will come with into the game. My guess is he'll look badass cuz after the events of Payday 2, he became a criminal mediator of an infamous bar in mexico. He must have a lot going for him too.
From my time playing Payday 3, everything is amazing, combat feels amazing, animations are great (and seeing the cars turn when driving around looks really realistic), and either they did really good at compression, or it's not heavily graphic-dependent, but one of the only 2020 games that actually keeps my gaming laptop at a solid 70 - 90 fps range (with everything on ULTRA for graphics set by the game), compared to the 40-50 usual fps range I get from other games. I do want to say they they put love into the game and the only thing that killed the game was the Always-Online model.
I really hope this game gets fixed soon and to how the sequel should feel like, instead of a shit show.
This game needs a ridiculous amount of QOL before I think it’s worth it to invest my time into the game, I’m NOT doing a heist more then like 150 times lmaooo

With no offline mode, Buy this on xbox and its not playable unless you pay microsoft to be online. I installed the game, Decided to do the tuorial, Then realized Thats all I could do. super annoyed, Payday 2 is one of my top 3 played games. I will not be buying number 3 unless at minimum its got offline mode. xp per job, lobby text chat and I would like to see the old map where you choose a mission perhaps.
So i guess im the only dumbass that loved the safehouse and its upgrades, definitely miss it.

The tutorial is all offline but I sure we all knew that. As for the exp system, agreed something needs to change. It
takes forever to lvl up guns. Sure achievement hunts should love it but I'm casual. I just want to play a game.
Forced to play the game or get kills a certain way like get slide kills to lvl up? Great ,my carpal tunnel love this stuff.
I deleted the game. They’re not even working, they just go on twitter and tell people the servers are fucked and when everyone goes to sleep, they’re like “hop on heisters, matchmaking seems to be fine” and then everyone wakes up, hops and the cycle repeats. What a lazy studio, I should’ve never given a cent.
This is objectively false. I can tell you that people are working on doing their best to fix it. They aren't sitting around doing nothing
The server issues are inexcusable even tho I like the game, but not EVERYONE was asleep when they said the servers are temp fixed lol (like, people in other timezones lmaoo)

@@RustyChains they haven’t patched the game since day 1. Im sure they’re working on it but “doing their best” is what is objectively false lol. Defending a multimillionaire studio that completely failed to their job is delusion at its best but that’s why gaming is in this state, people will eat this shit right up and they’ll defend shitty products and throw money at shit like this, cause the studio made a good game a decade ago lol.
@shalimhasanrakhimhabibi4783 I'd partially disagree with you because the devs are clearly trying their best (but ofc they should've not let it happen in the first place), but I think it's more of on the higher ups making bad decisions
I think the game will get better over time, but on launch it should have worked well.
I really think we should stay optimistic because at least the devs care about the game, but we should still hold the company accountable for not listening to our advise on the offline mode
I'm honestly fine with the UI and challenge system, but I defo prefer Payday 2's UI, HUD and menu. Gameplay wise I prefer Payday 3
