Glad I found this!! My fondest childhood memories are of me riding in the back of my Pawpaw's old truck, Homecoming services every June at Burton Pentecostal Church, and the frozen custard stand. I will always love Wheelwright
My favorite line in the song. I'm not from there but my parents were both born there. Both my grandpas were coal miners. Daddy was born in Hindman andmommy was born in Chavies. I'm proud of my eastern kentucky roots.
You can feel the ghosting memories pouring out through the music. When he left this day no one saw it, but energies flowed and spirits flew with Erie unseen joy. .
My mom and dad are feom wheelwright, moved us to michigan in the 80's for the autoboom. I made so many trips there to visit my mamaw. She lived at the head of the holler , now she rests in the family cemetary beside her home my papaw built. Ty for this video man.
I grew up in Weeksbury, Wheelwright was like going to town. I went on payday and Dad let me have the change from his pay envelope, he then stopped at the 5 and dime and i would get something. Sometimes it was 20 cents but sometimes it was 98 cents but not very often. That was over 60 years ago. Thanks for the song brings back special memories.
I had a mission trip with my youth group a year or 2 ago to Wheelwrite to work with Big Creek Missions and it was my favorite part about my group. Sadly I’m graduated and no longer part of the youth group but I will always remember riding our bus through the mountains and curves of the road at night and then working with the children at the park by the pool area my first year there they played your song and I’ve had it in my playlist ever since.
It surely is a long way to Wheelwright from Stonewall, Louisiana, but I relish the thought of going home for a visit soon! Those beautiful mountains of Kentucky will always be home for me. Watching this brought me to tears. Great job!

Not right off, but If i come up with something I will message you back. Maybe talk with local realtors. Pikeville would be an excellent town as well with it being a college town. @@nicholasjamerson
For what its worth, I think you should post this to the Ellen website. I've seen her (on the show) be charmed by some youtube artist, like you, and literally change their lives. She's been responsible for making more people smile than Santa Claus.
That's really good Nicholas! You should try for the voice! I graduated when your dad did! Your granddad was principal. Your dad looks a little different after 45 years. Who was the other man at the start of the video? Just wondering if this was one of our classmates. Anyhow very impressive song and vocals! Congrats!
6 year later I’m still listening and can’t understand why this doesn’t have a million views
