Rían here. Thanks for watching! Ever feel stressed, scattered, and burnt out...even when you're not working super hard? That's likely allostatic load - and it's crushing your performance.
With the science-backed techniques in this PDF, you can clear your allostatic load several times in a day to exceed a month’s worth of work in just 11 hours.
Hello sir
Big fan of your channel,
I actually have a request,
Can you make a video on how people with ADHD can attain flow on command?
It would be a great help!!(Although your videos have helped me a lot!!🤍)
Thanks Rian 🔥🙏❣️
hey my life does not allow to stack it up in my routine I can only do cold therapy, breath work, exrecise, heat therapy, sleep and meditation and nature. And there not stacked up so yeah and I cant do all of them so is it ok to not do all of them and not stack them up as I cant do that please.
Hey man, I have a few questions in regards to the video.
Q 1. The body likes to maintain a level of homeostasis, so when we move out of a long phase or period of work flow, the base level of homeostasis is slightly increased, thus we shouldn't need as much recovery. If we were to pivot back to original base or somewhat lower point in order to get fast recovery, then won't it be us being lazy? Since if recovery rn means sleeping 8 hrs and after long period work phase where I consistently get 6 or 7 hours sleep, then 8 or 9 hours would make me feel lazy and lethargic, right?
Another question is that
Q2. body is slow to react to such fast oscillating loads, that's why many people stress the need for consistency. This ties into both homeostasis as in need of consistency and flow and the block or analog workflow of oscillating work-recovery phases.
Q 3. The idea that the video is based on ties into physical muscle growth and strength. During evolution, use of strength/gym workout/ muscle exertion would yield either food/no food or survival/no survival type situations. If consistently failed to get food then it's death, if no survival then also followed by death of individual. The brain thus developed pathways to see higher pattern recognition, better neural pathways, release bdnf, other neurotransmitters to adjust for the lack of physical strength or technique or strategy. Thus, brain and muscle although had similar stimuli, but their growth and response are different. Muscular growth can be observed but we have only scratched the surface of how the brain performs and grows. Thus, is recovery period of 2 days as much needed, or like can their be some other ways to optimize this recovery process?
Thanks for your precious existence. Since i follow FRC i can't undo what i learned and practice since then.
Hope to see this channel growing and some of the book of Steven translated into French.
Thanks for helping us to reach the Impossible ! 🦁!
literally what this video is doing with all the effects and sounds is increasing my allostatic load
HAHA SAME HERE
This is why I dont like this guy
They allow for those of us who have a difficult time paying attention to get snapped back to the video.
I do get over stimulated sometimes, though... to ease it, I close my eyes and listen. If that's not working, I will take a break.
I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful day.
@@gusta-leelentoor6287 yes, same here, good to see I'm not the only one
I didn't know that that's why I wasn't able to make sense of the video. I watched another one of your videos and I had the same experience. Definitely overstimulated. I'm sure your content is informative but the constant input is anxiety producing.
The editing and presentation of this video dramatically increased my Allostatic Load
My stress levels rose during this video hearing what sounded like someone loading a gun again and again! Honestly, getting off of our media and doing normal things like interacting with people and going outside is the key. Thanks for the reminder.
The guy in this video talks all the buzz words but lacks a real and deep understanding of neuroscience. Allostatic load is chronic stress. It takes 40 hours to recover from a bout of stress which is why people can still feel stressed on a Monday morning. The odd 3 day weekend would be beneficial for this. All his recovery activities are about reducing the level of cortisol in the body. There is nothing new just a lot of words that could be summed up in 30 seconds.
Haha, yeah, this is all BS to earn $$ from youtube. Never mind the content, just give 'em what sells. SELL, SELL, SELL!!!
Being kinda of hard on the guy, don't you think.
not being afraid of everything lowers your stress levels as well..
i have been in tears trying to get people to understand this. just get outside like a human and discover for yourself what you want in life and what youre capable of. its just grass. ot may itch but i pinky promise it wont bite😭

I’m pretty sure my dad has been doing this pretty much coincidentally his whole career and coincidentally he is pretty successful in his endeavors. Every weekend he just goes on 10-15 mile hikes and relaxes in nature to relieve stress, and so far it’s worked for him.
Yep great point nature helps us recharge and soak out some of the negative charge of urban life too.

For cold therapy you can also have cold showers, even if its 30 secs at the end of your warm shower as Dr. Huberman says on his podcast. Then slowly build up to a full cold shower step by step.
Deep prayer accessing God is very much akin to deep meditation.
Definitely changes the landscape of one’s thoughts and sense of peace.
staying in the moment and giving your task full attention helps to allow the matrix to pass over you. Everything changes as time passes. I learned somewhere along the line that we rally can only give attention to one thing at a time if we want a quality result.
Depends, light mediation is much like prayer. But deep mediation is much different
Prayer? What are you praying for?
Honestly, I had to turn it off. I can’t listen to all the other sounds going on in this video. It’s irritating.
You don't pray 'for' anything. Prayer is invocation, and invocation is communion
Find me a successful person who did not believe in Spirit, and I'll show you 100 that do and did. Without spirit and faith, there's no success.
Doesn't have to be God or within a religious framework. But every successful and happy person I've known in my life prays, meditates or worships. Even full on atheists are found doing zen meditation is they have any level of success in life.
Ask and ye shall recieve. Don't ask with bitterness or desperation or with a grudging temper. Ask with love, and the heavens open
I get it that you need to capture the attention of ppl conditioned by short form content, but could you upload a boring version edit of your videos that don't fry my brain after 10 seconds
Yeah, I also need that, because I hate the overdoses of content, and I'm getting away from that as much as possible
Holy fuck I read your comment before the video started and I was overwhelmed with the intro 😂😂😂
I recommend just listening to the video as the second I begin watching it I also have a similar problem. I can process it way better with my own imagination though.
Bro, if you can't watch this video then your brain is already fried 😂
@@dashadow1817 are you even trying to understand what he is saying? He's saying that so many cuts and music leads to fopamine overdose in your brain, which is harmful and doing opposite of what they are teaching.
Notes while I'm watching:
- "Executive athletes" ensure that work improves their minds instead of burning them out.
- Oscilate between exertion (work) and recovery (not relaxation).
- Recovery extends your mental limits.
- Recovery does not necessarily feel relaxing.
Recovery methods
- Breathwork (4 7 8 breathing method and box breathing)
- Cold therapy (ice bath, cold shower, cold swim, etc.)
- Heat Therapy (Sauna, hot baths, sunlight)
- Myofascial release (Massages, foam rollers, stretching)
- Meditation (basic but difficult to master, can be replaced with breathwork)
- Exercise (literally releases feel good hormones)
- Nature (hiking, looking at wide horizon levels - from Andrew Huberman)
- Sleep (seems passive but is actually mentally stimulating)
How to test if an activity counts as recovery:
Objective - If your heart rate variability (HRV) is increasing over time during the activity, it is likely a recovery protocol.
Subjective - It feels like you just came back from a vacation.
For workaholics: Recovery is just as important as work, and you'll be beaten by those who "out oscilate" you.
More workload = More recovery:
- Take 1 hour every day
- Take 1 day per week stacking different recovery protocols. (Eg. Cold shower, then hiking, then breathwork, stretch, sauna session and a nap)
- Every month take 3 days fully dedicated to recovery (ideally include a digital detox period)
- Every quarter take 10 days (1 week plus 2 weekends)
- Every year take a full 2 week recovery vacation (for a complete reboot).
Live like a lion:
- Ferociously sprint when working, followed by exorbitant recovery.
- Don't aim to stay busy, aim to get shit done. It's not supposed to be a marathon, it's a sprint.
- Fully working, fully recovering. This "one or the other" binary mindset helps your brain simplify your life.
Thanks for reading. Just remember to go easy on yourself as well, you're human, but always strive to be better. Become an executive athlete. Much love
Thanks for watching.

This channel is the one that I have been looking for years. I've been endlessly reading material, overwhelmed by the volume of research on flow states and motivation and finally Rian comes along who has made it his life's work. I am gonna crush this year I know. This is unlike any other self-help productivity channel.
Im a Comp Sci college student with ADHD who had been procastinating for years, somehow nothing I read or watched ever worked consistently, from books to productivity youtube videos to research papers.
*Your videos have been a game changer.* they just click and tie all that research knowledge together in the very right way, and you have the perfect method of keeping your points clear and precise. you've really changed my life, keep doing what you're doing. much love. please consider making a video specifically for ADHD people looking to increase their productivity and access flow state better
am pretty sure I have some ADHD of some level and same bro, these videos are so good, but it is also CRUCIAL (I think anyways), to make your own protocols and make your own concepts that is what I have been doing and it's great.
Hi, I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD too. What video did help you the most? How does your daily routine look like?
Some people actually telling me that might have ADHD , and i want to go to CS as well . do you have any advice maybe ? and besides that , do u take prescription for you ADHD or some certain pills ?
@@hunk7932 I don't take pills and neither should you. Don't eat or drink sugar in any form, reduce your carbs to a minimum. If you work on a mac download the extension "self control" and put any distraction in there to block immediately. What works for me in regards of focus is finding a song or beats that I like and hear it 12 hours on repeat (no joke). If you want to put your mind on silence mode, what works for me, is trying to focus on the next thought, if I do this, I don't think anything, that is what is paradox. Otherwise just embrace your ADHD, you are most likely more intelligent than the average human, have a more creative mind.
Careful identifying with ADHD. Maybe learn how your brain likes to work.
This video absolutely works. Since watching this vid., I implemented 1 hour daily active recovery (my go-to choice is cyclic sighing breathwork from Dr. Andrew Huberman since it reduced anxiety and stress more than box breathing and mindfulness meditation in a study, but I sometimes do cardio instead). The first day I was burnt out and was passively scrolling through UA-cam to get my mind off work, and after doing 26 minutes of the breathwork, my burnout/mental exhaustion was like 70-80% lifted; it was insane how my energy just came back. Normally, I would've been stuck in that burnout state for 1-2 days minimum, so compare that to just 26 minutes... game changer.
Then yesterday I might've overdone it on the active recovery because I was so energized that I didn't feel tired by the end of the day and thus had insomnia and only slept 2-3 hours. So maybe too much active recovery (and thus too much energy) can counter-intuitively be a bad thing, but idk. Maybe I'm starting to need less sleep now after implementing this into my daily routine?
Please keep us posted, I'll look up Dr. Andrew, thanks for sharing. Seems like a game changer!

Hard pill to swallow:
Success isn't just about the grind, it's about the recovery.
If we're constantly:
• Burning the candle at both ends
• Ignoring the signs of "allostatic load"
• Neglecting the power of active recovery methods like breathwork, meditation, and nature
We're setting ourselves up for burnout, not peak performance. The elite understand it's not about outworking, but about out-oscillating.
If you want to truly excel, embrace the rhythm of exertion and recovery, and avoid the trap of the gray zone.
Keep going my dudes
very nuanced, very true, complexity is what we should always look for, or should I say what works for us personally? but either way things aren't black and white
Boom. Exactly. Masterfully put sir! I could use more of this over on my own channel's comment section haha. You're welcome anytime!@@vividchilling2492
I think most guys already have a lot recovery, who's working 16h a day? Not many. So don't make recovery an excuse to not work. You'll also notice that u can go a lot further than ur brain thinks, it's uncomfortable but to overcome
Have no idea what you just said.
In my experience, an all out sprint is the best reset you can get. Really clears the body and mind.
I must say, this is the best video I've watched on UA-cam this year. At first I was skeptical of watching it, looking at the time and thinking this is another one of those lengthy empty videos but the minute I clicked, I immediately was locked in. I found out that I was already practicing some of these recovery methods without even realizing it. For me this feels like a steal because I'm getting this much knowledge for a comparatively zero cost. I can't emphasize how much this video is going to dramatically change my output performance because I had been doing it wrong the whole time. Super grateful for this information Rian, you just got yourself a new subscriber and fan.
I appreciate your viewership and support.
Allostatic overload sounds a bit like burnout! Totally agree that zoning out in front of the tv isn't necessarily recovery. Parasympathetic massage is a great way to allow some of that stress to release. I'd just be cautious of the cold therapy if your adrenals aren't functioning great, maybe leave that for when you're further into your healing.
I've watched A LOT of videos on UA-cam. I'm confident to say that this is extremely well presented new information.
It's clear there's a lot of research and experience behind this. Not just another video repeating the same 5 things everyone already knows.
Kudos! Subrcribed without watching any other videos yet. But I will, soon. Keep that quality up, it's amazing!

Thank you so much, Rian Doris. I've been watching your video for a month. I started watching video about taking a boring break like staring a wall for 10 minute. Everytime when I watched your video, I felt so motivatived. You are really helping me redesign my life in a positive way. I have so powerful confidence that if I stick to watching your video and absorb the methods in these videos for increased productivity, it will change my life. This youtube channel is just LEGEND!!
You are very welcome.
This is so useful! Very clear explanation of the necessity of rest for health AND performance. Consider not creating the distinction between relaxation and recovery, because the things you described (tv/media input, alcohol) are not actually relaxing for our nervous systems. Also, consider how many of your viewers are trauma survivors and remove the term lazy and include the information that some of the recovery methods you recommend (ice baths) can be detrimental when the allostatic load that you have comes from trauma. Thank you for this conversation!
I had the same reaction to him degrading the word relaxation...for those of us who know what true relaxing means and not the casual escapism he refers it to...yeah deep relaxation is definitely recovery.
It can be hard to take a rest when every day feels like a struggle just to subsist and survive.
The information I absorbed in this video has changed my life over the past two weeks. It's inspired me to learn more about neuroscience and productivity

Thanks for sharing this, Gisele, and congratulations on a great first episode! I'm proud of how you've embraced joy in your heart and went for it. BRAVO! I'm going through a similar journey myself. You mentioned in the podcast that it took you two years to take action, which resonates with me as I feel I'm also getting prepared-perhaps upgraded. Sometimes, my ego labels me a procrastinator. I'm forging a new identity, which leaves me feeling very sensitive and occasionally lost. It's tough to muster the confidence to tackle life-changing projects. Last February, I left everything-friends, home, work, family (though I did bring my husband along ❤). Upon arriving in my mountain paradise in southern Bulgaria, I experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Living me with an existential crisis, in the best way possible. Returning to work has been challenging, and I feel a strong call to do exactly what you're doing: to educate, inspire, and serve as a beacon of light to others. I want to bring light to darkness, I want to bring love to places, people, and circumstances that love has not yet reached. Being honest with myself has led to an intense love and pride for who I am, my connection with the universe, and my vibrational contribution to the collective. I'm writing to you with tears rolling down my face. It's been a while since someone inspired me this much. Thank you so much ❤. You've gained a loyal subscriber in me. 😊. Sending lot of love 💕

Wow I needed to hear this. I put a lot of pressure on myself to accomplish so much in one day, but I never focus on how I’ll recover. I push past my limit because I think I can handle it, but I’m also shortening the height of my limit. Thank you for sharing this video! It really helps!
Excellent points.
Breath work, mediation and hiking in nature works wonders for me.
Cold exposure seems horrible for me personally though. I tried it a few times. Every time I got sick or got a migrane.
Cold to an extent, not cold literally.
This vid reminded me (on a 100% subconscious level) to do something I found out almost 3 decades ago I needed to do at least monthly to relieve my "allostatic load."
It was so weird because as the guy was talking about what people might do to recover (ice bath, hiking, etc.) I wondered to myself, "now what do we normally do that is like those things?" & then I opened a drawer, while looking for something completely unrelated, & found my Cake™ Delta 8 dispoable vape stick.
Yeah, I neve smoked daily or even weekly, but every month, or every two months (along with some self applied acupressure techniques, that I seem to completely forget about after 1-3 after smoking) THAT did the "trick." Man, I'd had so many physical injuries & been so stressed & angry for so long & had completely forgotten about this always effective therapy technique I'd figured out for myself, ages ago.
So thanks for the "trigger" vid. It was indirectly an enormous help!
This is an important topic. I have heard that taking one day off each week is essential to efficiency and productivity. It can be one of the days of the weekend, or a different day. The people of France once tried to make a ten day work week and it was devastating. The fast food company that is closed on Sundays has been making more profit than McD’s. Releasing yourself from work and resting for a day is important for good health as well as productivity. On a different note, I find that doing ten to fifteen minutes of stretching can make me feel as good as taking a twenty minute nap some days. Worth a try.
Recovery does not equal relaxation! Recovery can actually be the opposite of relaxing.
^ Important point
It’s amazing to me how much value and knowledge each of your videos give

Massive Presentation - with deep research and multiple benefits.
I've found the grind culture to be a little weird and excessive, and I was expecting this video to be something like "sleep is for the weak just grind." I was pleasantly surprised and I found myself resonating deeply with a lot of the points presented. The list of active recovery protocols made perfect sense to me. These are the activities where when I'm done I just feel on top of the world.
I have never done any research on this topic, but I just naturally drifted towards an oscillatory work cycle. I have been performing well and achieving many of my goals, but I thought there must be something wrong with me because I couldn't work for months on end without rest as it seemed everyone else was doing. What a wealth of information. I'm excited to apply this and see how things turn out.
I hadn’t heard of allostatic load before but have used many of these techniques along with singing and dancing to boost my energy and reset my nervous system many times. It is definitely great info, although I don’t resonate so much with the binary approach. It’s a little contradictory to the idea of overcompensating active recovery.
Keep up this production quality and you will explode in the self-help community. Your level of thought, passion, and attention-to-detail is fantastic.
Thanks for watching.
agreed, production is fire
All the recovery protocols like cold therapy, meditation, sauna, hiking, do work. But you don't need them. They are like a signal that tell your brain that it's time to let go of whatever is on your mind and focus on the moment. You can actually directly achieve this without doing the external activity. It's the practice of being at peace with yourself and letting your mind just simply be. Don't think about anything and accept everything as it is. As you relax, feel the kindness all around, be one with it. You can learn more about this in the book Psycho-Cybernetics.
I'm almost finished with reading Psycho-Cybernetics. I used a technique from it to great effect today. I've worked 21 days in a row and ate a big lunch with my family so I was exhausted for my evening job, and my mind was running on empty by the last few hours. So I used a technique where I conjured the image I have of my mental sanctuary: a big comfy chair on a wooden porch with a roof over it Victorian-style, while it's raining hard on an otherwise warm day, the perfect place and time to sit and read a novel. I pictured this image for only a few minutes, and it was like my batteries completely recharged and I finished the day strong as ever. The mental techniques in that book are incredible to say the least. I've also benefited heavily from the exercises in visualization, and I noticed my inner self-talk is now overwhelmingly positive. There is hardly a moment in the day when my self-talk is negative, and then it reverses instantly in compassion for myself, followed by a reflexive reminder that I am actually capable of achieving great things. The mindset I've gained from it is worth more than the book's volume in gold.
@@brianjones9780 Glad to know you're using the book to such a great outcome. My mental image is that of a japanese garden. Whenever I picture it in my mind, a feeling of tranquility engulfs my mind.
Yeah, I'm really interested how does it work in the long run. Are you really able to override 80% of your nervous system going FROM the body TO the mind with the remaining 20%?
Hint: I tested it out for over 2 decades: you absolutely CANNOT. Is what is mentioned in this video around 10x easier and 10x more effective? Absolutely, YES!
Look at it from a simple standpoint of everything in Life: COST VS RETURN.
Going MORE into your mind is one of the worst ideas a human can have!
But you do you for however long it works (I do not deny it works for a little while, and works wonders!). Just remember there's another way once this one stops being as effective as it one was (diminishing returns). Balance is NOT about a POINT you achieve. Balance is about swinging around that point and variety vs familiarity.
From Claude:
The transcript discusses the concept of "allostatic load" which refers to the physical and mental wear and tear caused by constantly adapting to life's pressures. It highlights the importance of recovery in counteracting this load and optimizing performance. The key points are:
Recovery is as important as the work itself for peak performance. It allows the body and mind to rejuvenate and recharge.
Relaxation is not the same as active recovery. Active recovery involves practices like breathwork, cold therapy, heat therapy, exercise, meditation, and spending time in nature that actively promote healing and reset the nervous system.
The ideal approach is to oscillate between intense periods of work (exertion) and dedicated periods of active recovery, just like an athlete alternates between training and rest.
Ambitious professionals should aim to "live like a lion" - working with 100% intensity, followed by complete recovery, rather than operating in a constant state of busyness.
Recovery should be scheduled and prioritized, with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly recovery periods factored in to clear allostatic load and expand capacity for peak performance.
The transcript advocates treating oneself as an "executive athlete" by mastering the art of oscillating between intense work and strategic recovery periods to achieve elite levels of productivity and well-being.

Bro your video's are life changing! Please don't stop posting!!!
Thank you for watching!
This is an amazingly clear, concise and practical presentation. Thank you for sharing your expertise in such simple and practical ways. 🙏 I loved the active recovery suggestions, and the reminder that looking at broad horizons is an active recovery meditative process. Humming, dancing and Joe Dispenza's "Blessing of the Energy Centers" are other powerful NS soothers and regenerators, all the way to very high energetic states sometimes. 🎉
You're very welcome!
This video is THE MOST IMPORTANT VIDEO THAT I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS! Very grateful!!! Greetz from The Netherlands!! ❤
HUGGEEELY important for me. The past 3 weeks have been full of Allostatic load. Just didn’t have the vocabulary to describe it. Thank you!!!
I barely ever subscribe to a channel based on one video and you're an exception. So many fit people blabbering useless 10 minute videos but this was such a great reminder of why I needed recovery to be more productive and the binary method was so valuable and when you talked about Prof. Andrew Huberman is the icing on the top :) Awesome work! Please do keep giving this same value and more :)
Thanks for watching!
Another value-packed video here RIAN.
The biggest aha for me is probably the distinction between relaxation and recovery, which is also covered in depth in the last bonus module of Zero to Dangerous (highly recommended for anyone who's serious about taking their focus and productivity to the next level).
If you want to live like a lion, surround yourself with others on a similar mission.
Thank you for watching!
@@riandoris I sent you a “Make Things Right” email to your FRC account but not sure if it landed in junk. Did you miss it?
This is going to blow up… I wish it reaches more people ASAP
Great video. Very enjoyable. Thank you for the information and insight.
Your videos are too useful and you explain really well plus that this vidéo came at the time i need it 😊
Glad it was helpful!
As a student who studies 12+ hours a day i always stuck at recharging my body is not even half the productive as it was the earlier day and now i realise why what i was doing was relaxing myself and not recovering from the previous day. hands down this is one of the best video on how to get recovered.
Love the video, made me feel like crying, mental health & self care is definitely what I am lacking.
I search youtube for a intense full body workout and for the first few days i was feeling the best and i got complacent and made my workouts slower so i had more rest time, this made my body reduce my energy i was still eating like a BEAST but i treated my life as my exercise taking more rest then action.
Why this channel is so underrated..
Too much noise in background.
What a wonderful video! Thank you so much!
Really grateful for all the content you put out, Rian and Team! All my downloaded videos are from you guys. Applying one little practice at a time has helped me keep on keeping on. Especially as a creative professional (not accustomed to these biology-backed tips I used to think were reserved for athletic types only) your content makes a lot more sense to me than the cult pf personalities touting and prescribing only what they did on whoever will take them. Hoping to someday afford the Zero to Dangerous program! Until then, more power to FRC!
Thank you this is useful! So really what we are doing is metabolizing our chemical load effectively and resetting? It makes sense from instinctive behaviours we would naturally do that as opposed to conscious behaviours using the same pathways we tend to not relate that activity to needing a recovery and really turn towards relaxing rather effective relief. Im liking your content! 😊
I appreciate your viewership and support.
Yo the content is great but the background music is hella distracting.
Captions 🗿🍷
Awesome content, thank you!
Thank You!
Really felt the fatigue after waking up and started working and went straight into to flow. Now will try to nail the recovery protocols. Thanks for the great video man!
I guess this is a rather rare comment to read but I legit got off the video after like 1 min because it was too stimulating.
I appreciate the time and effort that has gone into editing but I feel like it is so overedited and just like flooding my brain with sounds and fast cuts, as well as b-rolls (I think that were these videos that one shows while talking).
I guess for people who consume a lot of videos and even short videos that kind of editing is necessary because of their low attention spans, but for me it is simply too much - and I'm just 20 years old.
I'd rather watch unedited videos where one is just spitting facts than this, where every image that flies in is combined with a "pling pling" sound, for me that is too much and pushes me into the wrong direction, I don't want to get so much dopamine or stimulization out of yt anymore and editing like this makes me feel stressed.
Just had to get this off my chest, have a nice day whoever you are :)
Totally agree 👍
Im new to the flow state and so far its been as helpful to my physical body as stoicism has been for my mental wellbeing
I just found this channel and I relate so much to its content! Thank you for sharing! I just love it!
Welcome!!
Are you Tyler Durden?
The level of editing is soo obnoxious - i would dial it down, less epic music, clicking sounds and drastic cuts - man, you're telling people to sleep, hike and meditate, you don't have to be so dramatic
I prefer epicness
To be honest it depends on preferences I guess, as a person who has inattentive ADHD all these being dramatic what kept me focused until the end of the video because sometimes we need fireworks show just to stay allerted many times for absorbing new information
@@berfukan6605Too much dopamine.
i really didn't like the clicking with every transition, like what is even the point. just to distract?
It's alright 😂
smiles, great work Sir, seen your work and for a while i felt like its a big talk something. but your the deal. great work sir.
you hit on point with what i struggle on self improvement for 2 years . I dont understand what allostatic load is and just assume it is my lack of motivation and mind resilence. until recently i discover the practice of flow state can be the direct counter for this issue. This video hit me so deeply , it is mind blowing to see all my issue in self improvement and its solution in one video .
Thanks for watching.
Hi Ryan, a quick question, is it possible to recover inbetween flowblocks? E.G. I have 2 flowblocks of 3 hours, and inbetween these blocks I recover for 30/45 min with the protocols and then move on to the next block? And if so, is that extendible to more blocks? Or is the recovery period really meant as an "end of day" period?
Otherwise, Google or UA-cam “Andrew Huberman NSDR”
We pray 5 prayers a day.
You might. God doesn't really need that much praise, the universe hears it 24/7, you won't go to hell if you miss a prayer
"Indeed, mankind was created anxious
When evil touches him, impatient
And when good touches him, withholding [of it]
Except those who pray
Those who are constant in their prayer"

I literally can't explain how much i needed this video. Since my very childhood i was told to do as much as i can, always be "productive" and rest less. I graduated from school with very high results and now I am studying in one of the best physics university, but I feel FULLY exhausted every day. I can't do the simpliest tasks and my brain doesn't work properly. I even thought that i have autism because I spend hours studying but forget everything the next day and look stupid. I had huge problems with my self esteem because of that and my decision to handle the situation was.. to study more!! Now after watching this video I am crying because i thought that I have disabilities but i'm just exhausted by YEARS of restless work😢
Majority of us even don't know that we're suffering, Its good that you were aware and that's when we strive for more information to fix it... This was a great video for sure.
I've been loving your videos and channel! Thank you very much!!
You are so welcome!

Thabk you so much for this video. That was what my mind needed in the early morning ) Captivating and relaxing.
Regarding "relaxing in front of the television," which is a myth that so many buy into, studies have shown that relaxation only occurs in the first 20 minutes, after which time stress begins to accumulate again. That's not even taking into consideration the fact that you might consider watching the news as "relaxing," which is anything but.
This man poops in under 7 seconds due to his anular flow state
Lmao Denmo is too funny man. Also changed my life with girls. A true G! 🤝
Gotta blast that coal out quick to return to Skyrim.
Lack of zest 💀
All these comments complaining about the video are lost on me, I had zero issues focusing and listening to the information. Thank you
Rian, it's literally so good. Script, editing, narrative. You're gonna blow up, no doubts.
Thanks for watching.
Poor Rian, I can't believe they're going to blow up, no doubts
The editing is scary 😅
Bro you gotta chill with this editing, way too much going on
Hahaha I noticed when i start getting bored it switches to something else. Plus the ticking sound effect grabs my attention back 😂😂😂
The editing is amazing
@@5Sp0kesMedia it is good but too much
Totally disagree, makes it fell like a movie
Too many sound effects, I can deal w everything else, or dial them back
The sound effects the graphics….im
Bombarded by 7 different directions.
Woah i've been thinking about similar concepts recently, this really solidified a lot of things I have been thinking about on top of even adding new information.
This channel is seriously so valuable thank you man, I really appreciate these videos.
Most welcome.
Holy shit I got jumpecared from that intro
Buzz word salad
This was a very helpful video, thanks Rian!
I have been working extremely hard on my business on sales side. And last 5 days I can’t even sit down and call any of my prospects because of stress and anxiety I was having past 3 weeks
Just doing some breathing exercises and cold shower. I feel so much relief and finding joy in looking forward working again
